Abuja's dining hall is a perfect name to call this place. The biggest plus of the restaurant is the variety of dishes available for order all through from the mornings to the evenings. Service is personalised and you don't have to stand at the counter to order and carry your good because there are standby waiters who will take your orders at your table and offer any support you need. The food portions here are pretty large and I personally recommend a minimum of two person dining because it's almost impossible for one person to finish a portion, especially if it's soup and a swallow. There are enough parking spaces inside the restaurant compound as well as outside the gate. So you can drive there. Only negative I have is the tight seating arrangement inside the restaurant.

Delicious traditional food. Value for money! The portions are really big! We had ogbono (n1400) with fresh catfish (n1700) and pounded yam (1150) we spilt it between two and still took takeaway. (See full menu and prices in pics) Our bill for 3 adults and 2 kids with water and takeaways came to 11k. It’s a very busy lunch spot from 12. Customer service was ok. Would definitely go back again for the food.

Good menu and great taste. Their bowl of soup used to be plenty, I guess the economy has found its way into the bowls. I never noticed alcohol was not served here until someone mentioned it.

Big quantity of food nut the afag soup and goat head was not tasty at all. They need to change the chef or else people will stop patronising them

Loved my time at Sinoni Chinese Restaurant because it offers authentic Chinese cuisine. I visited this place with my friends and was impressed with food, service and drinks. A fun fact is this place is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Abuja.

Great place for a working lunch. It's like a giant dining hall, eat and go. Wait staff are courteous, food portions are quite sizable. No fancy gourmet meals, simply Naija dishes. Very tasty. 8/10, will highly recommend for eat in or take away.

Jevinik is one of the oldest restaurants in Abuja, after so many years we decided to try them out again. First the space was quite big, the also had a sitting space upstairs, which was were we stayed, just incase your looking for a bit of privacy Secondly the waiter was so prompt, humble nice and friendly, we had to tip him for his services. Thirdly everybody who ordered sallow with soup enjoyed their food especially the sea food okro, it was so nice. At first I ordered their coconut rice & chicken, I just couldn’t eat it, it was soggy and the coconut milk was to much, it didn’t taste nice at all. I don’t recommend their coconut rice, I had to ask for a change of meal, which I got. I then ordered their white rice & stew, it was spicy and I loved it.. Generally experience here was good and it’s actually an affordable and decent place to eat especially if you’re looking for a place to have that homemade taste, I’ll recommend jevinik

Nice place. Downstairs was full and stuffy...we talked with one of the waoters and he recommended we go upstairs, we did and it was cooler and much better. The toilet upstairs us also top notch clean. We spent approximately 24k for 2 plates of afang, 2 plates of pounded yam, 1 plate of fish peppersoup, 2 glasses of Chapman and 2 bottles of water

If you love Native food, this place is for you. First of all, it is almost impossible to finish a portion of food here unless you eat a lot in one sitting. I literally had The biggest swallow I have ever eaten here. I couldn't even use up to half of the soup. The pounded yam was really big and The vegetable soup ( Afang native soup) is one of the best I have ever had. The place is good. I would love to eat here again. But I have to come prepared to be able to finish a whole portion by myself. Lovely place

This is always my go to place for food in Abuja!!! Be assured that if it is Nigerian delicacies you want, this is the place to get it. I had the traditional soup full of condiments like periwinkle and stockfish. The way they serve their meals is always satisfying so much so that we took home a third of the meal. As always, the service is swift and detailed. Thanks guys, you guys rock!

The Vue is a perfect place for a date night, a family hangout (very children friendly) or a just a group of friends who are hanging out. The indoor and outside areas are so beautiful. So serene and sophisticated. The food is so awesome with tasty drinks (cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and wine)and nice music. The service was very okay with very professional staffs. A wonderful spot for nice pictures. Its a place you would want to visit again after a first visit.

Poundo with local soup, cow leg and catfish with fresh juice mix and water for breakfast 😂🤣🤣 Food was extremely large it finished me cuz I could not finish it. Had to take home the soup which tastes a lot like white soup/ oha but has no leaf in it and stuffed with prawns, shredded periwinkle n stock fish. Gosh it tasted sooooo gooddddd

The Staff were alert, polite and professional. They managed to spot an envelope I left/forgot on the table as I picked up my Order. I am so grateful for their vigilance as my attention was drawn and Item handed over to me as I made to exit the restaurant. Video below:

I went to Jevinik with a friend at almost noon. We both had oha soup and goat meat and pounded yam and garri. The soup was 2000 a plate. The meat isn't a lot for 2,500. Pounded yam 1800 Garri 1500 The soup was big as usual, hot and spicy and great value for money. We shared a big bottle of water and used a takeaway pack to take leftovers home. We spent a total of 15,000 Naira.

Jevinik will make sure you are filled up. The vegetable soup is so nice with different proteins. They serve their food in large quantity and the price is also commensurate to the food. If you want to spend money on food to get full satisfaction, Jevinik is just for you.

Jevinik is one of the best restaurants in Abuja. They majorly serve indigenous meals. There are 2branches (that I know of) in the city of Abuja. One branch is in Wuse II another one in Garki close to the Garki ultra modern market. The meals served here are as tasty as they look. The setting of the restaurant is also chick. I also noticed they use an automated ordering system. I give them a thumbs up for integrating technology into their business to keep up with new trends and aid more efficient customer service. The only suggestion I'll make is for them to renew the look of the Wuse II branch. That setting has been same for a while now, a fresh look will give more life to the feel of the restaurant. Over all, I'm satisfied with their service.

Really wonderfully made food. Strategically located also. However, the waiters here tend to choose who to attend to. I have been here a lot of times and 8 out of 10 times, I literally have to lose it in order to be attended to.

No matter how big the food is, you will finish it because it is tasty. Important tip. If you wanna do takeaway, tell them to serve you in a plate and then turn the food yourself to the takeaway pack. Try it and thank me later.

If you want a place where they serve plenty food that you would eat and have enough to take out, then Jevinik is a good choice. However, their service needs to be way better. Sometimes it takes forever to get someone to attend to you, so definitely not a place to go when you’re famished. Overall, not a bad restaurant.

Great ambiance, lovely welcoming reception. But I didn’t enjoy my food, Not their fault at all but mine🤦‍♀️ I ordered Chinese rice with tasteless sauce and couldn’t eat it because I’m used to saucy food😜. So when you visit, please make sure to order what you know or make thorough investigation to avoid my experience. The fee was also on a high side though...

Following lovely google reviews i decided to visit here with 3 of my colleagues for a night out. Surprisingly we were the only diners when we visited. It was a very disappointing outing as all 4 orders were over salted and we couldn't even manage. We all left disappointment. They manager offered an 18% discount . I will never visit again. It was a rude shock

Poor delivery a waste of time to order, get your food and even pay for your food. Poorly lit environment. They require a total service overhaul. They claim to be using a mobile website for order placement but it creates issues and incessant delays. Claimed food will be ready in 5mins but took 40 mins.

Jevinik Restaurant, Abuja and Port Harcourt too is one amazing and excellent eatery outlet in Nigeria that have been know for quality, class, freshly prepared native healthy dishes and serving same fresh within budget friendly costs. Filled with amazing and efficient friendly staff team. Jevinik offers fresh healthy local Nigerian goods and also being enjoyed by many other visitors and tourists in #Nigeria, #Abuja and #PortHarcourt. Jevinik outlets are very neat, highly hygienic and thoroughly maintained. There is ample parking space for their customers, and also restrooms.for both make and female separately. There is wheelchair access entry, thereby making it relatively easy for some specially enabled persons. The cost of foods and services in jevinik is very budget friendly and still meeting the needs of her large clientele base. Jevinik collects payments either by cash, use of POS/ATM Debit credit card means. No bank transfers and no payment by cheque. Every payment is made to be instantly made at the point of service/order. Jevinik is a name synonymous with quality 👌 See photos from around Jevinik Restaurant in Wuse 2 area of Abuja Nigeria 🇳🇬.

I thought this place would be small, but upon walking in I was taken aback. Inside is huge oo 😂. Any who. Our server wasn't bad but he could have been a little more attentive. Everyone enjoyed their food. The portion size is huge so one can definitely share a plate. The Chapman here is delicious according to the person at my table who ordered. Their fried rice was very delicious. Glad we went in when we did since parking is very limited as it got busy towards the evening.

Your outlet at Bangui street, Wuse 2 has a good ambience but I was totally disappointed with the food. I ordered fisherman soup and egusi soup ( both take out) only to get home and saw what looks like curry leaf stew dished as fisherman soup. What is fisherman soup without seafood? Not one single seafood was in the entire plate (safe the fresh catfish head). It also didn't taste like fisherman soup. The egusi soup too was nothing to right home about. It was a total waste of money and I totally regret it.😒

If she doesn’t take better care of these restaurant chains…….. Anyway, I Entered into the restaurant at Wuse axis on the 22nd of April,2023 and these were my experiences. 1. Waiters were play fighting, engaged in various horse-play, watching football, and they made so much noise that the music in the restaurant could barely be heard. They made more noise than even guests. I am not saying staff should not be happy. But why bother customers with your noise and stress? Besides, do we really need to see your shoving and “quacking” each other? One was swinging a tray he just used to serve while waking back to the kitchen/bar area and almost knocked a guest unbeknownst to him. 2. I sat down for almost 10 minutes with no service. I had to beckon on one of the playful and highly giddy staff before I was served. Jevnik that I used to know, the moment you come in, an assigned waiter is there taking your order. I could have sat there for a year with no one asking anything. 3. Food was served in chipped and cracked plates. Very chipped and cracked edges. Presentation used to be super. Right now it is worst than some mama puts. I don’t understand this. 4. Soup quality was too watery for an Afang. For the price I’ll get better at other places. I won’t mention names so it doesn’t look like sabotage.Afang soup never runs down one’s fingers in Jevnik. Never have I had their Afang and had the whole thing running down my fingers. 5. And the flies. No functional insect trap when I checked. I battled flies throughout my meal. I almost smacked my glass of mixed fruit juice while trying to swat flies. POSITIVES The only positives were: 1. The food was served hot and as usual 2. As usual, good and filling portion size. More needs to be done about this. Monitor your staff members and the details in service delivery. Customers like me who know what you used to be are finding significant difference service and quality. Of course you will have new customers. However, they too will get frustrated by the poor service.

Have known Jeviniks Abuja never to disappoint when it comes to swallow 😂😂 I couldn't finish the mountain of swallow they gave me and the soup I had to leave both and run. I was full like 🤣 The food was delicious 😋 Ordered Egusi and semo while hubby ate semo and vegetable The Egusi was filled with plenty stock fish and ponmo. While the veggy was filled with prawns and stockfish. Great place to Eat and also affordable 👍

Went there to have vegetable soup but the soup tasted like it had some cubes of sugar in it... So sweet that I thanked God I had a bitter kola in my pocket... I just rushed it. Guys no jokes here, I didn't enjoy the meal one bit. I couldn't identify what vegetables in the soup, it was as if they blended it. I expected more from Jeviniks.

Jevinik restaurant wuse as common to all their restaurants has great meals and wonderful environment. The amazing thing about this restaurant is the fact that it is typical African. The volume of food you are given is intimidating. You will almost think you are being fed for a fattening competition. The ambience is top notch. It is welcoming especially during the scorching sunshine. A step into the restaurant will give you a welcoming coolness. The tasty and sumptuous meals another high rate. Above all the prompt food delivery is superb.

The jellof rice I ordered was like a home made meal. But I demanded for beef. They were in large chunks, I practically fought ripping them into smaller pieces. Secondly I was served boiled beef , this was so annoying. I called the waiter to ask why but no explanations. At least it could have been fried or grilled and well garnished. I had to leave the beef, I couldn’t eat it. It was hard too. The waiter also brought two big bottles of water for my husband and I. I retorted that we could share one.The waiter lied that it had being imputed in the system already.that he wouldn’t return it,we had to pay for it.My husband also had a taste of sand in their stock fish. Too bad.The customer is King thing doesn’t work there.I don’t think I would return again

Nice place. Great for family and friends or small gatherings. Service is fair. Down side, the waiters gather in clusters and chat while working. Not caring what you hear them talk about. That's lack of discipline. The food is good. I had chicken in oyster garlic sauce and jasmine steamed rice. A little too salty, that is the sauce. But the chicken was nicely cooked.

  • 4/5 Ugochukwu O. 3 years ago on Google
Quite affordable yum food but pricey drinks. I loved the Chinese fried rice (chicken). The sushi wasn't bad either. Couldn't get dumplings on my visit but I'll definitely go back.

The Vue Resturant is easy to locate - with good parking spaces available. The food was nice, very well cooked. The waiter was courteous and helpful in explaining the dishes. Although our Food took about 20 minutes to arrive and there were a few mix ups, they resolved it quickly. There’s an outdoor seating area which is quite cozy and nice. It’s airy with soft music playing as well.

They have the best cheese nan bread in Abuja for sure.. Their dumplings aren’t bad either. Also amazing spots to take photos. Overall a good place to visit. Horrible! Mayonnaise and ketchup on sushi, they used a frozen fish for a dish that should have been with fresh fish and lied about it! When we insisted that it didn’t taste right they admitted to using the frozen fish to save time so they don’t keep us waiting. Unless you are going there to drink alcohol, the food is horrible!

I thought it would be busy and crowded and we thought we might not get a table but it was quiet. Decor was a bit dark and dated but food was good. The service however was exceptional. The food arrived quicker than expected but the wait staff still apologized for the "delay"! Our server was very polite and attentive but generally, all their staff were helpful and friendly.

Sinoni’s menu is very extensive with over 120 dishes😮. Also, I love that it included pictures of the meals to aid consumers ability to choose. So far, this is probably the most extensive Chinese menu I’ve seen in this city (Abuja, Nigeria). ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ •⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ The menu was divided into different sections; poultry, soup, beef, vegetables, soup, sea food, lamb and mutton, fish and Abalone. ⁣ ⁣ The sit out area is ample, made up of some round tables for dining of about 5 people and above and rectangular tables for 2-4 people.⁣ ⁣⁣ Private rooms are available for private dining, these rooms (as informed by Mr Andrew can be arranged to the diners specifications and is available at No EXTRA COST to 5 or more guest who require privacy. Also the rooms can be redecorated for a romantic date, proposals, work meetings , birthdays etc. ⁣ Damage - ⁣ • Dim Sum Platter:⁣ - Chicken Shao Mai⁣ - Leek & Egg Dumplings ⁣ -Beef & Onion Dumplings ⁣ - Beef & Onion Steamed Bun ⁣ - Chicken Mushroom Steamed Bun⁣ ⁣ ⁣ • Hot Tit Bit Platter ⁣ - Fried Beef Balls ⁣ - Geely Shrimps Rolls ⁣ - Crispy Fried Wonton ⁣ - Garlic Chicken Wings ⁣ - Crispy Fried Chicken ⁣ - Shrimps Mayonnaise Spring Rolls ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ • MAIN⁣ - Special Fried Rice ⁣ - Fish in Chilli Sauce⁣ ⁣ My best dishes - Beef & Onion Dumplings and Chicken Shao Mai⁣ ⁣

These guys delivered to me fish that had not been deboned. It still had the fins on. This was supposed to be sweet and sour fish, Chinese style. Also, the price listed on the online menu was different from what I was charged. The difference was almost 100%. The listed price online was N4500, but their delivery invoice read N7900. So, their quality is really poor, I do not recommend. Edit* I have upgraded my review because they responded to my complaints quickly. Also, I forgot to add that the food was good. Tasted nice.

I can’t review the food because their Service was unbelievably terrible, left after more than 20 minutes without being attended to, they couldn’t even offer water while we waited. They don’t deserve the 1 star I was forced to give to leave this review.

I would normally give then 5 Star but the last time, they played a fast one on me when I split my huge meal. I ate what I thought we as part of the meal but the one I took home was just the fish and no soup! When I told them to split the food, they siphoned off the soup and packed the fish and covered it with a little soup. Next time, they will do the splitting right in front of me or I will open and inspect the take away meal in the restaurant. My wife, who I brought the food to, wasn't happy.

I finally visited the renowned Jevinik Restaurant. Been hearing about it since 2008. 😅 And must confess, it was worth all the hype. If you were a great cook and decided to give yourself a good treat by putting a nice meal together, I'm pretty sure it would taste and look like something of this nature. 😉

  • 4/5 Jayne K. 2 years ago on Google
Very good as usual. The only downside personally is that they stock only Nestle water....and I don't drink that brand at all....so I stayed thirsty until we left...but asides that....good service and delicious food.

  • 4/5 Zaynab A. 2 years ago on Google
Typical of Every Jevinik Restaurant in the country ( I have visited in Abuja and Lagos and I can safely "jump" INTO this conclusion) they serve you food that makes you assume the management of the restaurant are low-key shading you🤣🤣 The portions are so extra, you're most likely not gonna be able to finish at least something on your plate! If you can/do, weeeell😧😏😒🙊🙈 The Specials are something to look forward to and the many varieties is appreciable for a big restaurant

  • 5/5 Abel Adegahi U. 2 years ago on Google
I visited this Wuse 2, Abuja Branch of Jevinik with my wife 12 years ago, I returned today with my wife sitting @ the same spot, on the isle way in the middle of the restaurant hall and we had a fantastic dinner experience! Almost 2 decades of doing business(24/7, 7Days a Week) and they're still maintaining standard is a commendable feat worthy of applause.

  • 4/5 Krox P. 2 years ago on Google
Super delicious meals as always. However, waiter-to-customer ratio is low and thus often result to long wait and poor service delivery. Besides this, Jevnik still remains the best restaurant for local delicacies. The management may wish to employ more staff who would be zoned within the hall of the restaurant for effective customer service delivery.

  • 3/5 Marieta E. 2 years ago on Google
This place is always sooo rowdy. The staff are polite and helpful There is usually a bit if wait time before your attended to, due to the crowd The food tastes fair. I believe it can be improved on. The food portion size is larger than most places

  • 4/5 Teni A. 2 years ago on Google

Delicious food. Huge servings in very large plates! Thankfully they have takeaway containers. No way I was going to waste such delicious food! 5 Star all the way.

  • 3/5 Seyi S. 1 year ago on Google
Good location. They have a welcoming ambience. Though the dining space was not full when I visited, however the set up is a crowded arrangement of seats and tables. The waiters were slow in attending to us! I had to be calling for attention several times before one of them eventually came to the table. When we eventually requested available menu, it was scanty! Probably late for them (about 8pm). The management can do better. Parking space was spacious though often crowded because of the central location

  • 5/5 Brian U. 1 year ago on Google
It's Jevinik. So the food there is standardly great in taste and portion size. The atmosphere was great. The service though, I think they may need to employ more servers. I was eventually attended to but not as quick as I would have wanted. Still, I'd go here any day. If you are in the Abuja Central Area, drive by.

  • 4/5 Mazi L. 1 year ago on Google
I like how they have mentioned almost same food quality, taste and size across the country and over the years. Was glad to be back to Jevnik after a while and it didn't dissapoint. They waiters are becoming a bit sluggish and slacking in services. This like serviettes should be readily available

  • 5/5 Blessing D. 1 year ago on Google
Delicious meals, local and Continental dishes. The portion is quite huge, you would not be able to finish it.

  • 4/5 Abahioluwa A. 1 year ago on Google
Food was great, even though the waiters seemed a bit harried and some of the food choices on the menu were not available. Overall, it was an okay experience dining at jevinik restaurant.

  • 5/5 Ikenna E. 8 months ago on Google
Honestly one if if not the best tasting and most budget friendly eating experience you can get in Abuja, was a bit sceptical about the place but my fight had been cleared. The portions you get plus the taste of the food is unmatched so far especially amongst more established or famous food vendors. The only drawback is that they don't deliver (as far as I know) and their did is so good you'll keep coming back for more. Edit: Almost One year later and the prices have risen by about 40%, the food quality hasn't dropped though just unfortunate about the price hike.

The wait time was fair. 👍 The quantity of food was really good, I couldn't finish my meal 😄, the taste was also good and yea! I love the environment. I rated 4 star because of the restroom, they had no tissue, and then the door knobs were bad that if you ain't careful enough, someone might see you from outside. Just to add that we were satisfied with their that we almost forgot to pay,😆😆 the waiter walked up to me though and politely drew my attention to it. I went with some Ghanaians who really loved their goat meat pepper soup.

  • 3/5 Okoro Vincent A. 7 months ago on Google
Food portions are usually large, my stew didn’t really stew, unlike other jevinik restaurants I’ve been to. The environment is crowded despite being inside . There is a fenced parking space. Not so easy to locate, but with map showing the location, it’s accessible. has the exclusive and general sections. Exclusive is upstairs and general down. The restroom is okay.

Without a doubt, this restaurant is on the top of the highly sorted after place to eat a well garnished and cooked Native food. Their different options to choose from menu of local food is amazing and guys the beautiful thing is that they all taste completely amazing. You know what, I'm saying no more rather I do want you to go and have a taste that really is a value for the money spent.
