Shehu Musa Yar'adua centre is a very popular place with lots of Aesthetics and historical context. It is located at the heart of the city beside Sheraton hotel, PTDF towers and Silverbird cinemas. Its a nice place for academic and research studies, it is also a tourist destination.

Visited the museum with our homeschool group and had a great experience! Both adults and kids learnt a lot. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The centre is very well maintained. I would highly recommend as a tourist attraction in Abuja. It’s free, serene and a lovely view on the unfinished bridge

Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Centre is built in memory of Shehu Musa Yar'Adua. It has over 3 conference halls that can accommodate at least 100 people. These halls can be used for conferences (obviously), as a theatre, cinema amongst other things. It is well ventilated. It has a mosque, a courtyard and fountain around which events are held. It is located close to the Central Mosque, Sheraton hotel, PTDF, African Development Bank amongst others. It has beautiful trees and flowers and worth visiting if you love to take pictures.

A really good place for mid scale conference events. The facilities are well maintained and great ambience as well. You should note that they shut down everything at 5:00pm and will not allow anyone carry out event preparations past this time. So you will want to start really early in the day when using this venue.

Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre is a memorial building in honor of the Late Brigadier General who died in prison in the late 1980s by his friends and associates. The building contains a hall for exhibition of the historical facts, personal belongings such as Army regalia, traditional attire, books, collection of greeting cards, pictures and letters to mention just a few. There are also auditorium, American University Yola Abuja office and board rooms for meetings and conferences. Presence of water fountain is placed at the centre of the building. There is presence of staff to assist you with your query and security personnel too. Presence of trees and flowers to regulate weather within the complex. In the exhibition area of the building, there is wheelchair entrance and parking for PLWD, there is also book to write tributes for the great man, Lt. Shehu Musa Yar’Adua. There is a mosque that can contain up to 50 worshippers in the building. You can visit the exhibition only on week days and is free of charge. Amazing experience and I enjoyed my self.

The atmosphere was peaceful, a good kind of quiet. The air is clean and refreshing here with several trees around the premises. The staff is amazing and the interior is beautifully decorated with pictures hanging in the walls. The place is well lit and totally welcoming. It's quite suitable for events. The building is just adjacent to Sheraton hotels and it has a nice view of the road with moving cars and stuff.

This edifice was built to immortalize the late Shehu Musa Yar' Adua. He was known as a bridge builder. He served in the military, government, business and politics. The center is a conference center where ideas are incubated and disseminated. It was built as a reminder for all to strive to continue the struggle for unity, fairness and social harmony throughout Nigeria.

The Museum Center is nestled in the heart of Abuja, just before Silverbird Mall in central area. It stands as a testament to the rich history and dynamic leadership and showcases the captivating journey and life of Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, his legacy and how it shaped the Nation at the time. Stepping inside, visitors are greeted with an extraordinary collection of collages showcasing the past Nigerian President’s remarkable accomplishments. This immersive experience is an awe-inspiring journey that offers a deeper understanding of Nigeria's political landscape and the visionary leaders who have played pivotal roles in its development. Entry is free and it is open; Monday - Friday from 8:00am -5:00pm If you would like a tour guide, you have to book an appointment with the foundation prior to your visit. Whether you are a history enthusiast or simply seeking a deeper understanding of Nigeria's past with relation to Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, this museum is a must-visit destination that will leave you inspired and enlightened.

A nice looking place for conferences and events. It is only poorly maintained. They libraries have nothing in them or much on the life of Shehu Musa Yar’Adua. The Exhibition places have nothing meaningful either. It should be a good historical place and had the potential

So when I visited it was under construction.. the halls at least so I didn’t get to enjoy that.. sad 😔 other than that it’s actually an interesting place to visit.. a bit of an eye opener actually, I wasn’t sure what to expect when going but a trip down history was very much insightful.. I doubt you would actually visit and read the stories about Shehu Musa yar’adua without some new found admiration for him, that shows the amount of thoughtfulness the organizers put into details.. now an added bonus to visiting this place is the bridge right outside… a picture from that spot over looks the grand central mosque and the views are really lovely.. I went with my sister and we both enjoyed the experience

The ambience in the halls are welcoming. A fountain in the middle and photos and paintings that tell the story of Leadership in Africa during our developing years. Photos that tell our history elaborately and elegantly. The halls are spacy, air conditioned, and nice. With comfortable chairs and sound systems. Each hall is independent of the other, with controlled sound, no interference and good lighting. Security is fair enough. The centre is very well maintained.

I had my induction here sometime in July 2019 and I must say it's a very clean place. The Museum/Exhibition room is such a beauty to behold. Unfortunately, I couldn't explore much as closing hour is 5pm and I had a few mins to look around after my induction ceremony.

The foundation represents the much needed bridge between the country's past and future, it serves as a beacon to those who would seek the true growth, development and prosperity of the Federal Republic. With real historical depictions and references, the museum tells the story all citizens need to hear. The purpose of the foundation is laudable and remains a beautiful legacy and initiative of one true Nigerian pillar.
