On Tahoe Time is my favorite store at the Heavenly Village Shops. Offering unique artwork selected from around the world, it is a great place to find a special gift or enhance your home decor. From vintage to 3d art they have a large selection to choose from. I just purchased a large coffee mug emblazoned with a Van Gough painting.

Just found the best spot in Tahoe. We have been bumming around checking out the shops and the majority our the basic tourist trap stuff- which we dig. And then we found this spot. Everything inside is home made crafts, from local people. The freaking detail in the wood work, soaps, ornaments, it's ridiculous. Feeling overwhelmed, Jason took the time to guide us through all our questions, and point us in some directions from getting to know us. Glad we shopped here before spending cash in the other spots!

I purchased a lake relief map/carving for a special occasion for a relative. I searched a lot of places on line and based on a couple of personal preferences and also the location of this lake I took a chance with On Tahoe Time after months of trying to decide which company to purchase from. Well it has arrived, early, and is exactly what I had hoped for and more (but could not really tell from online photos). Beautiful craftsmanship, great labels of roads and depths of the lake. I did buy the 11x14 size its the smallest one that actually shows the various depths, which was important to me. I also got the cherry frame finish which I thought might be darker but looked light on the website and it is close to the matting color and I like that so that "fades into the background" and the lake it self stands out. I also was a bit hesitant because this version IS very sort of turquoise forward and other places do something more green. But that color is also a fav of the person I got it for, and it is beautiful. And finally this site was somewhat cheaper than others. I don't mind paying more for small business and crafts-people, but actually not knowing what it would look like in person or my relative would like it, felt more comfortable with the price. I totally recommend this place and this idea as a gift. The recipient was so very surprised this idea even existed.

We stumbled upon this beautiful shop before hitting up Base Camp Pizza! So, so glad we did. We didn't know what we were looking forward, but we love adding to our gallery wall at home. They have a variety of art, ranging from, mountain ranges, lakes, rivers, and cities. After we found what we liked we began talking to Coral. Coral was fantastic!!! She showed us all around the store and telling us how we could make things more customizable if we wanted too. She was extremely helpful, so friendly, and very knowledge about all the art in the store. Definitely would recommend - thank you Coral for an awesome experience!!! :)

Such a cute art shop in Heavenly. Their wooden maps of Tahoe and surrounding attractions/structures are unique and beautiful- couldn't walk out of the store without one! I constantly get compliments on the 3-D wooden map of Tahoe when I have guests over. Aside from the maps, there is a large variety of unique pieces by local artists. Will be returning the next time I am in town!

Such a cool and unique shop! Definitely worth checking out! There are a ton of different 3D maps of lakes and bodies of water from all over the world. The items are a little pricy, but you are supporting local artists. The staff are really friendly and helpful too!

A custom design was requested as a birthday gift however once the proof was sent over the quality was far below what was expected. A request to cancel the order was submitted and had to be followed up with to get processed. They have refused to issue a refund for the $45 "design fee" to digitally plop a small house on a map. Beware there is no verbiage on the website about canceling orders prior to design approval or the fees they impose for poor quality designs.
