Really solid trail that’s not too difficult, pretty quick, and pays off with some great views. Can be a bit dusty/dry when it hasn’t rained for a while, but not really problematic. Up at the top there is plenty of room to check out multiple view points of the lake. Definitely worth the hike if you are in the area and looking for good lake views.

This is the best short hike ever! The view is all worth it. One of the best views around its so peaceful up there. I always try to go when it's not so busy, not a lot of parking or space up there for too many people.

A nice family hike with great views of Lake Tahoe. The volcanic rocks are relatively easy to navigate, but be careful of the dusty tails. It's easy to slip and sprain an ankle if you're not careful.

Quick hike to get to the top. Definitely a gorgeous view but unfortunately due to haziness from surrounding fires it was not ideal. Regardless well worth it and super convenient for where our stay was located.

A short but rewarding hike. Eagle Rock has a wonderful view of Lake Tahoe. There is some snow on it now, which makes it a little slippery so come prepared. In the summer I would imagine that this would be an easy walk to a magnificent view. :) Dogs are welcome just need to be on a leash.

Quick hike to get an AMAZING view. About a 20 min hike and it's a great pay off. I'd totally suggest everyone to come here. The sunset is truly amazing as well. Just get down before the set sets.... πŸ˜‰

Probably the best bang for your efforts. This hike trail is short, moderately easy, and worth every second of it. Just a short 20 walk gets you to the top of Eagle Rock where you will see the lake from a spectacular view not offered that much. The climb is only 620 ft from where you start, a couple of iffy spots, but easy throughout. Another plus was that it wasn’t crowded. We did happen to see a couple of lovebirds making out high up. It seems like the thing for local kids to do. I found that to be pretty wonderful.

Tough short hike but great for beginners. The walk-up was a bit dusty, but the view was very worth it.

Stunning walk with vista views over Lake Tahoe. Not too long, although steep at parts and you need to climb over rocks. Worth it for the 360 views!

A must to do when in the area. It just took 10-15 mins to reach the top of Eagle Rock and about 5 mins to climb down. The view of Lake Tahoe from the top is amazing. Mornings are better due to the sun's direction. Even while you are approaching the trailhead by car, you'll notice the steep rock on your side. The look is very attractive and makes you wanna go to the top. Trail is slightly steep but very short.

Fantastic views abound up on Eagle Rock, in all directions. It's east facing, so the sunrise is a great time to climb up. The hike is very short and easy. It's a little rocky at the top but not bad at all. Totally worth it! Park on the side of the highway at this location.

A short trail with a 200 ft climb that is not easy to navigate for the final 50 yards. However once you are there the view is spectacular.

Beautiful trail took about 20 minutes to go up with a 7yr old trail is somewhat steep but not that difficult. There were a couple 5 yr olds going up no problem. Top has beautiful view of the lake

The Eagle Rock Trail is a great trail to hike in Northwest Lake Tahoe. The trail is fairly short only about less than a half mile to the top, and offers great views of Lake Tahoe and the West shore. Highly recommend if in the area, and best on a clear day for the best views.

The river is very calm, requires some paddling but you aren't paddling the whole way through. Price includes raft rental, life jackets, parking and shuttle back to your vehicle. Tips: -Ever...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Best beach in town in my opinion! True it’s not very sandy there but it has a dock open to the public and it’s lots of fun. I love going there with my friends or just some alone time to clear my head.
