Town hall (Wroclawski Ratusz) is a nice building that was built in the late Gothic style, located on the middle of Market square and it's really hard not to see it . The town hall is one of the best preserved historical monuments of Poland, the most important architectural monument of Wroclaw. The town Hall was built in several stages over 250 years from the end of the 13th century to the 16th century. Today there are the city hall and city Museum.

Lovely architecture and a museum of local history. Fantastic glassworks and metal displays. A bit on the pricey side but a crucial tourist destination nonetheless.

Wroclaw's Town Hall is a Stunning Gothic building in the main square and dates back to the 13th century. An art museum is housed in the rear of the building.

One of the most beautiful buildings in the city! Stunning in the day and night. Went for a little tour inside which was nice, but the outside is more beautiful in my opinion.

Its the smallest emptiest not worthiest museum i had ever visited. Don't waste your money here, it takes max 3-4 mins to visit a couple of almost empty rooms.

My main interest in visiting this place was to see the inside of the town hall, which was very interesting to see complete with English language explanation of the evolution anf ornimentation of the building. The small exhibitions (kerosene lamps, German silesian porcelein, etc) were a bonus really, but still enjoyable.

This museum is really not worth it in my opinion. Half of the rooms are empty and there's only a few vases and lamps. The building is beautiful on the outside and on the inside too though. Don't recommend wasting your time and money visiting it.

(Translated by Google) Representative. Monumental. Dignified. This is how I could describe the Old Town Hall when I first saw it. I walked around it on three sides and I would add "diverse". Considering that for 250 years it was expanded in several stages (from the end of the 13th century to the 16th century), and in the 17th century and later it was constantly rebuilt, supplemented and renovated, this term seems to reflect the character of the building well. It is strange that he remained in such a beautiful form 🤔 Personally, I was delighted with the south side with richly decorated bay windows and the eastern facade with a sundial from 1580 and a small chapel bay window on the first floor. The town hall tower with the oldest clock bell in Poland, dating back to 1368, is also distinguished. The tower is 66 meters high with a viewing terrace. Unfortunately, the terrace is not open to the public. From the terrace of this bugler, the bugle call plays the bugle call of Wrocław (always at noon, and the tradition of playing the bugle call of Wrocław dates back to 1601). As a town hall, it was the seat of municipal authorities for years, until the 19th century, when it moved to the New Town Hall. And the old town hall was waiting for renovation ... Currently, the seat of the Museum of Mieszczańska Art. I recommend taking a look at this building ... (Original) Reprezentacyjny. Monumentalny. Dostojny. Tak mogłabym określić Stary Ratusz, jak go pierwszy raz zobaczyłam. Obeszłam go z trzech stron i dodałabym jeszcze "różnorodny". A stary ratusz czekała renowacja... Obecnie siedziba Muzeum Sztuki Mieszczańskiej. Polecam przyjrzeć się tej budowli...

Beautiful building from the outside but the Museum itself doesn't justify this overall high rating, You shouldn't expect much to see. Nevertheless, the Architecture is very charming and probably it's the most noticeable building in the old town.

(Translated by Google) a late-gothic building on the Market Square in Wrocław, one of the best-preserved historic town halls in Poland, and one of the main architectural monuments of Wrocław. The town hall is located in the south-eastern corner of the central block (tretu). A two-storey, basement, three-bay building on an elongated rectangular plan with a tower and several outbuildings was built in several stages over the course of about 250 years (from the late 13th century to the 16th century). Today, the town hall houses a branch of the Wrocław City Museum - Museum of the Towns' Art Museum, serving as its main exhibit.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful gothic town hall, unique on a European scale, and also a showcase of Wrocław. Inside the Museum of Burghers' Art. Immediately after entering, we will be greeted by busts of famous Wrocław citizens. The museum is dedicated mainly to the Town Hall itself. In one of the rooms, we can learn about the history of the construction and reconstruction of the Town Hall over the centuries. Detailed designs help you imagine what the building looked like in the past. Currently, the Museum hosts a temporary exhibition of kerosene lamps. They were not only light sources, but small works of art. Another temporary exhibition presents more contemporary products: artistic glass and utility glass designed by Zbigniew Horbowy. The town hall delights with the wealth of architectural details and the collected works of art. You just have to visit this place. (Original) Przepiękny gotycki ratusz, unikalny na skalę europejską, a zarazem wizytówka Wrocławia. Wewnątrz Muzeum Sztuki Mieszczańskiej. Zaraz po wejściu powitają nas popiersia sławnych wrocławian. Muzeum poświęcone jest głównie samemu Ratuszowi. W jednej z sal możemy poznać historię budowy i przebudowy Ratusza na przestrzeni wieków. Szczegółowe projekty pomagają sobie wyobrazić, jak budynek wyglądał dawniej. Obecnie w Muzeum prezentowana jest czasowa wystawa lamp naftowych. Nie były to jedynie źródła światła, a małe dzieła sztuki. Inna wystawa czasowa przedstawia bardziej współczesne wyroby: szkło artystyczne oraz użytkowe zaprojektowane przez Zbigniewa Horbowego. Ratusz zachwyca bogactwem detali architektonicznych, jak i zgromadzonymi dziełami sztuki. To miejsce po prostu trzeba odwiedzić.
