I'm writing this review after 3 years. I stayed in this hotel in January 2016. The owner was extremely helpful in preparing my itinerary in Zhangjiajie. He even took me to the bus station and showed me the bus to the National park. On the second day again he accompanied me to the bus station to show me the bus to the Yellow Dragon cave. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're planning to visit Zhangjiajie.

Zhangjiajie Yijiaqin Hotel Is a small hotel in the center of Zhangjiajie city. Even this is a small hotel but you will feel comfortable and easy. Budget wise, the rate of this hotel is so good and suitable for them who would like to short stay in Zhangjiajie city. One successful key of this hotel, the host is so nice and helpful, the first time I came to this city I saw a lot of people at the city bus terminal they talk loudly and rudely giving me a bad imagination about people there. But when I met the host of the hotel, well I found out not everybody similar to them in the city bus terminal. Easy access to the shopping mall, restaurant, and groceries. This hotel could be put on your plan to stay if you want to go to Zhangjiajie.

Staff is very nice, help you to book tickets for sightseeing there. Also bring you to the bus station to Wulingyuaun entrance to Zhangjiajie. Highly recommended. Room facilities are ok too. Have a good sleep here.

My sister and I stayed there while visiting the national park in 2016 and our stay was very comfortable. The hotel owner was very attentive, he helped us plan our route for the park and he even went with us to help us take the correct bus. Very welcoming and kind. I would recommend it 100%. The room was clean, it had a water boiler and cups, the only negative thing was the shower, it had no walls, it was simply a drain on the floor and a shower head.

A short walk to train station and cable car terminal. Restaurants and stores nearby. Owner helpful and reasonable English. Small rooms, good bed, stairs to your room, clean, and good bathroom facilities. For an 18.00$ room it was the best value we experienced in China. Booked 2 nights but stayed 4. There was construction on neighboring property so noisy at times.

We rolled into Zhangjiajie and were pleasantly surprised, after calling for assistance to get to the hotel, that the owner offered to hop on his bike and show us the way personally. He gave us maps and showed us how to get around, answered any questions we had, and coordinated a bus to pick us up on the day of our departure. His daughter was also very helpful. Their laundry service consisted of a small fee and them doing all the work (washing and hanging up to dry!) A few things that weren't so great was that the wifi wasn't always dependable, and our room keys stopped working. But the customer service was so great that these things weren't a huge deal. Very clean and accommodating.

The hotel manager speaks english, the rooms are clean, have A/C and are well maintained. They were able to provide us with great information and advice (and maps!) for visiting the Zhangjiajie National Park and the Tianmen Mountain! I recommend trying their restaurant across the street, the prices are good and the quality is great compared to other places we tried in town!

Clean and neat room. Really value to book this hotel. Owner help us to book cable car to Tianmensan and bus ticket to Fenghuang without any charges. Moreover, he drive us to cable car station and bus station after we finished our trip at Tianmensan.
