Beautiful beach with all basic facilities nearby and heaven for foodies, bbq lovers and hikers. Sand us quite smooth and a little less crowded than the other beaches. From the ferry pier it's a little far but the shops on both sides of the way will keep you pretty occupied to even realize the distance. I prefer going there every 2-3 months and will recommend the same to enjoy the hippiness in Hong Kong.

One of the good beaches in honkong. You can go to lama island for the day trip and go for a swim at this beach. You have good changing rooms where you can change. They have however rooms too. You can hang around this place with friends or family and have lunch at near by restaurants or carry your own. There are couple of benches where you can hv your lunch. Good place to hike, swim and eat.

Nice clean and isolated beach. Better than those in southern hk island just from cleanliness and amount of ppl alone

Not many people here (at the time I visited the beach). Nice place for healing and refreshing. It's clean. The beach can be reached aound 15 minutes from Yung Shue Wan Pierre by foot.

Not bad the beach and water. Good stopping point between two largest villages in this Island

Hung Shing Ye Beach constitute a major part of lamma island. A wide range of shop were available, included but not limited to, dried-seafood shop, seafood restaurant, and bar. It was a good place for vacation as long as lots of vacation house are available, an excellent place for gathering and family day.

Often visited here back in 1989-1991. Great escape from the concrete jungle for a day trip. Parts of the island produce shrimp paste, and this gwailo could hardly stand the smell.

Nice place but a lot of trash on the beach as well as in the sea.

I was here on Tuesday afternoon. It’s super cozy and also clean area .

Only 20 minutes walk from the Yung Shue Wan Ferry Pier. Very convenient. We spent some quality time at the picnic table under the tree shade to watch the beautiful scene. Some visitors chose to having food or coffee at the beachside restaurant, and some playing at the beach.

20 min walk from the ferry pier. 20 min ferry from central. Nice place to spend a day.

On Sept 16, 2022, I came to swim. Having swum at Mo Tat Wan, Shek Pai Wan, this beach was facilitates and lifeguard service. But the swimming area wasn’t big.

Great beach to visit during weekdays, but don't expect a lot of shops to be open. Trekking the Family Path offers great views of the beach and the mountain.
