This Garden is not big as camper to other garden in Suzhou but believe it is different than others. Details about garden as follow :- The Master of the Nets Garden in Suzhou is among the finest gardens in China. It is recognized with other classical Suzhou gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The garden demonstrates Chinese garden designers' adept skills for synthesizing art, nature, and architecture to create unique metaphysical masterpieces. The Master of the Nets is particularly regarded among garden connoisseurs for its mastering the techniques of relative dimension, contrast, foil, sequence and depth, and borrowed scenery. History The Master of the Nets garden, then called Ten Thousand Volume Hall, was first constructed in 1140 by Shi Zhengzhi the Deputy Civil Service Minister of the Southern Song Dynasty government. Shi Zhengzhi was inspired by the simple and solitary life of a Chinese fisherman depicted in philosophical writings. After his death the garden passed through numerous ownership and subsequently fell into disarray until around 1785 when it was restored by Song Zongyuan, a retired government official of the Qing Dynasty. Price 1. Peack period : 40Yuan/ Person Period:-Apr. May, Jul,Aug, Sep, Oct. 2. Off Sesaon : 30 Yuan/ Person Period:-Jan, Feb, Mar, Jun, Nov, Dec. For me it is the most beautiful garden in Suzhou! It is a hidden germ. Not as big as other gardens, but worth to visit, even when other Unesco gardens are full with tourists.

Not very big, good if you have only 1-2 hrs time and want to see a classical Chinese garden arrangement.

Waste of time and money You pay 40 RMB to go into someone's old home. Yeah it has a small pond and lots of artificial rock formations but so what? You can see the same in larger scale everywhere in China for free. Lots of rooms inside, all the same. Definitely not worth more than 10 RMB and certainly a waste of time you can use seeing much nicer places

Worst employees I have ever encountered in a Suzhou garden. They may as well drown the whole lot and get dementors to work at this place. Everyone I encountered here in uniform sucks the soul out of you. This may not apply if you are not Chinese

One of my favorite gardens in Suzhou. 网师园 (Wang Shi Yuan, Master-of-Nets garden) is smaller than Liu Yuan (Lingering garden) but it's probably more charming. Highly recommended.

Nice garden! Kinda busy even though weather was bad. English explanations based on QR code did not work

Though somewhat on the small side, this garden more than makes up for it by packing a lot of beauty in a small area. The waters are such a deep blue/green, the trees are well-manicured, the buildings are situated beautifully, everything just seems to fit just right here. It also felt less crowded than the Humble Administrator’s, Lingering, and Lion Grove Garden (perhaps that was an anomaly) so the visit was more relaxing. Highly recommended and well worth the price of admission

My 4 year old daughter went crazy when she went through the 假山 with so many 'mazes tunnels and bridges, it was awesome and you never know where you will end up surfacing. The public toilets were surprisingly good as well, with parents room and even a nursery room. The fish pond was also great with many huge fishes. My childhood favourite has now become my daughter's favourite Chinese garden as well.

Very pleasant, quiet and pretty garden. Best to go with a guide so the different aspects of the garden can be explained.
