Located in the middle of the busiest street in this area, this temple is a good place to relax and pray to the gods. In the park nearby, beware of the women selling "walking tours". Some of the shops around the temple are tourist traps, selling low quality products.

Saw a peaceful protest here, something about the county government scamming people out of their savings. Plain cloth police came out of the crowd and had the protestors surrounded in the middle in a small circle and formed a much larger circle outside to push onlookers away. I was hoping to see the army and some tanks, quite disappointing.

Amazing old temple in the middle of the incredible city of Suzhou. There is a charge to enter the main building which is strange. The shops around the temple grounds strangely specialise in human hair sales. Weird!

Looks very nice... but it's another temple out of many.

Well-preserved. Worth a visit if you drop by the shopping street.

So that we can snap good photo and background. If go there late, need to queue up and very noisy as this is most visit by local a...
