Very good. The waitress was nice and got me a burrito just how I like. The portions were good and I was unable to finish.

WOW the service and food here are incredible! Stopped by on our way through town and the staff is super friendly and personable. We got SO much food for so cheap (2 enchiladas with rice and beans was like $8). Highly recommend!!!

Okay Yakima get ready for a HIDDEN GEM in this Mexican restaurant, No there's no fancy signs or elaborate lights, and when walking into this Gem don't I repeat DO NOT let the early late 80s front counter or furniture misplace your judgement in this establishment! Not only was the host super friendly the PRICES are also 👌 I also noticed the owner/manager not only engaging w his customers but also asking tables if they needed anything extra or some more soda, I find this awsome when a person who runs a establishment take pride in his customers w that being said lets move on. I ordered the CHICKEN AND STAEK FAJITAS not only was the flavoring on point , so were the vegetables, not over cooked or undercooked, and the RICE is beyond good and delicious I swear it reminds me of Grandma's Mexican rice the texture is fabulous hard or grainy and is perfect of seasoning I didn't even need salt the beans were decent, also FREE REEFILS! I have been to Mexican restaurants around yakima and this ones just seems to be the place to go the menu is small and simple! I give this place a STRONG 4 outta of 5 and its nothing to do w the food maybe just upgrading the furniture! But other then that THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS

Always our favorite place to go. The owners are so friendly, respectful, and kind and make you feel welcome. The food has never tasted different after their father retired and his son's took over. My wife and two daughters grew up in Yakima eating here most weekends. We come from Oregon just to eat here twice a year.

The menu prices are the least expensive of any Mexican restaurant I have visited recently which is ALWAYS a welcome sight. It has been some time since I last visited El Pastor and was hoping for an updated menu and possibly a more tasteful dining experience. I was sadly disappointed. The service was prompt and very pleasant. If speedy service and courteous staff is what you seek when dining out, El Pastor is the perfect establishment. Flavorful cuisine happens to be my ONLY requirement when it comes to food. For those of you looking for sabor, Yakima is full of other options

Of all the Mexican restaurants in town, this one is definitely the BEST! Not a fancy place, but the BEST chips and salsa, the BEST portions, the BEST service, the BEST enchiladas, the BEST rice, the BEST prices...simply the BEST! It's our go-to place, and will be going there tonight for dinner!

A very authentic menu. My tamal and enchilada were perfect.Strawberry and Lime margaritas were yummy. A diner type environment...a very good choice for Mexican food.

Disappointing. The food wasn't prepared properly. You don't use a green pepper (non poblano) dipped in a egg wash and present it as authentic Chili Relleno. Meat had freezer taste. Service was good. Carpets were not clean and hadn't been shampooed in probably a year or so. Interior was dingy. Not my kind of place.

I've been going to El Pastor for many years and it's hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Yakima for me compared to the others. The food and staff have always been outstanding. And the brother's who own it are wonderful.
