I discovered Cohete surfboards after I came back from a long surf trip, where I broke all my boards. A friend recommended I talk to John about repairing them. Even though John did his best, It turned out my favorite board was completely ruined, and I desperately needed some new boards for surfing bigger waves. I usually ride Spiders, Pyzels, JS's, Al Mericks, and Arrow/M10s for my big wave guns, so I was a little hesitant to have a greek shaper make me a step-up. After all, there are not really such big waves in Greece, so I wasn't sure how much experience he had in such boards. After talking to him for a long time, I realized that he was very knowledgable regarding shaping boards, so I asked him to make me a 6.6. pinned tail semi-gun and a 6.0 pinned tail copy of my favorite Spider board that I broke (see pic for the boards he made, they are also beautiful!). And off I went back to the tropics, to try my new step-ups. I have to say, the boards that John made for me are up there with the best boards I have ever ridden for powerful, hollow, bigger reef breaks. They paddle great, very steady on the takeoff, hold a lot of speed, and the rocker is perfect in the barrel. I am sad that I don't live in Greece, cause then I would have all my boards shaped by John! he is really good at what he does and I am looking forward to having another custom Cohete shaped for me in the near future :)

If what you are searching for is a high quality surfboard you definitely need to visit cohete! I bought my first board in 2018,a board that helped me master my first steps and helped me transition quickly from beginner to intermediate surfer because of its shape and perfect volume allocation. In 2020 I made 2 custom boards that helped me progress my skills because of their stability and quick response and now I'm literally having the time of my life in the water. Can't imagine myself riding anything else than my cohete surfboards. Thank you JT!!

Amazing custom shaped surfboard experience! The model I chose is EL DIOS ZEUS , John asked my preferences about everything, size,colours front & backside,fin set up etc and the result turned out incredible! He updated me on every step and once the board was ready I came to pick it up.John gave me a detailed explanation of how the board is made (concave, glassing,rails) & it’s functionality, which I loved as it helped me understand the board better ! Trying the board in the water , it was the perfect match for me !! I attach photo surfing it in Bali 🌺

Absolutely superb, first class service that I cannot recommend highly enough to anyone wishing to own a surfboard. I was looking to get back into surfing here in Greece and I certainly found the right person. John Tsoutis is the most wonderfully approachable and kind person who guided me perfectly through the whole process, from the initial conversation to making my board within a month, so smoothly and professionally. I could not have asked for more, but he gave more, in the form of tips and local info and an assurance that if I ever needed anything else or had any problems he would be one phone call away. I bought my first surfboard from this place and I am really happy about it!!!! Very organized with a big variety of different boards/ equipment and amazing swimming suits and wetsuits. Giannis has a great knowledge about surfing and about the board that fits your needs. He was super cool, helpful and very kind!! He guided me and gave me plenty of advices (also for the best storage of the board ! ) My total experience in this shop was amazing!! Hope I will see you again in the waters of our little island ;)

Cohete Surfboards are by far the most quality surfboards and sup in Greece

It was the middle of the summer and I had managed to crash my board on the road with what seemed to be an almost terminal situation (see photo) that would not allow me enjoy my holiday with my lovely sup board…. Thankfully Cohete saved the day and my summer! I called them up, I dropped it over and they fixed it like new in 24 hours. The whole experience reflected utmost professionalism and true care for the excellent products and services this company is providing. Being at the shop I received advice on how to take care of my board and ride it with safety! Cohete is authentic, is roots and is love for surf sports that you rarely encounter in a world intoxicated with money culture! Thank you guys for the great work and saving my summer!
