One of the most popular specialty cafes in Bologna. It has an amazing coffee selection. Very cozy equipment. I think today it is one of the trendy cafes in Bologna. I recommend it only to those who really like specialty coffee and don't want a quick coffee (they should go to Starbucks🙄). I really liked it, the manager (owner?) took the time to explain to me in detail what coffees I could choose from. I chose the Brazilian variety (espresso) and I was not disappointed! We also tasted a chocolate cake, which was also delicious. The place is characterized by great expertise and attention. The price is higher than elsewhere, but I think that's understandable because of the quality service. If you go here, take the time to drink coffee, enjoy the flavors and be open to new things! Horrible! Took them over 10 minutes to prepare 2 Americano. Then the proceed to give you a filter coffee. When I point to him that’s a filter coffee, he point to me to the V60 and Chemex and tell me that this is a filter coffee. I then proceed to explain to him that no this is a pour over and I explain what an Americano is. End result, a very diluted Americano 4 euro and over 10 minutes. Edit: their answer below show that they don’t know what an Americano is (or any form of customer service). I didn’t ask for an caffè all'americana. Yet after telling them explicitly what I wanted they should have managed, but it was really really diluted. I didn’t drink it. Qualified? Really? Where? Certainly not in your coffee shop. They don’t know the basic difference between a pour over and filter coffee. Come on! I have been in italy for 4 weeks ordering Americano and not a single time except in your “highly qualified” shop I had trouble. So I went to Starbucks after, there was no confusion there. P.S. like anyone, I could have drink my coffee while waiting for the food. When I saw what a shitshow that place was, I decided not to order any food. I would have take too long. Edit2: after reading more of your responses from critical reviews, that’s basically how you do, blame the customer and praise your well trained staff.

This is where the Italian breakfast card takes you from "The Houses in Dreams" hotel. You might ask - "What's the problem?" - well, the fact that the card only covers 2.50€ and the cheapest thing here is a 2inch/5cm long frozen re-heated vanilla twisted pastry, worth 1.50€. Next time, please work out a better deal with the hotel or offer the people, that are coming from the hotel, some discounts (10%-20%-30%) on top of the card coverage. That way you can stimulate more consumption, thus better income and experience for your clients. In anticipation to the owner response: 1. This is not a mistake - I got the right cafe/bistro 2. I've added a photo with what we could get with the cards - 2 things. This much for 2 adults is unacceptable. 3. I've already left a review down at the hotel regarding this issue as well. I'm not spreading hate, just how we were treated here and there.

A cute Bistro to grab a quick bite for breakfast. What I really liked the most was the decor and atmosphere inside. We got a crunchy ham and cheese sandwich and two pistachio croissants coupled with two heart warming cappucinos. There is a small sitting outside which can get very crowded in the early morning hours. The food is not cheap, but the quality speaks for itself

Mister Coffee Bistrò is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a bite to eat in Bologna. The customer service is excellent, and the food is both savory and sweet, with fresh options available all the time. I've been there twice now, and I've had a good experience both times. I'll definitely be going back! One of the things I like most about Mister Coffee Bistrò is that some of the employees are bilingual, which is helpful for tourists like me. The location is also great, and there are tables both inside and outside the store. The lighting and general decoration are also very nice. I've tried a few different dishes at Mister Coffee Bistrò, and I've enjoyed them all. The coffee is excellent, and the croissants are especially good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a bite to eat in Bologna. Overall, I give Mister Coffee Bistrò a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It's a great place to go for a coffee, a snack, or a full meal. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. I highly recommend it!

Found this wonderful place walking around. This si an excellent place for specialty coffee lovers. The V60 was generous and delicious. The staff was great and the barista attentive to every detail. I’ve to say I’m sorry for French croissants but this one’s were more than delicious. I recommend the pistaccio and mascarpone one.

First coffee by the owner was good, second one undrinkable. The apprentice asked the owner before bringing it to the table, so it is on him.

The food was good and my espresso was nice (typical Italian, not specialty). The place looks good, full of plants, jazz music.. enjoyable. What I didn't like was their attitude. We ordered a caffè latte (see photos). It was basically warm milk poured over a shot of espresso. My girlfriend has asked them if the milk shouldn't have been foamed.. "no" - their answer, "didn't you say latte macchiato?", latte macchiato having for sure more denser, frothed milk. Basically just thinking we're ignorant and not "coffee specialists" like them. My girlfriend insisted that she had the caffè latte and they finally "remembered" saying that "yes, but it should look like this". I usually leave good reviews and when I have complaints, I transmit them directly, just to not ruin the rating. But with these "professionals" we just couldn't have a dialogue.

AMAZING!! This is a real specialty coffee shop. They have a wide variety of options to choose from, and they are not afraid of serving unconventional products (here you can find coffee with very particular taste). Congratulations guys! You have a great place.

Mister Coffee Bistrò is one of the best specialty coffee shops I’ve visited. Their selection of beans and blends is exceptional, the design and decor are beautiful and lively, the food is fresh and delicious and the staff are professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I very much enjoyed my quiet morning studying and delighting in the new coffee flavours. I especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere with music (jazz) which is not too loud, friendly conversations and light chill vibes. I highly recommend this place to anyone but especially to coffee buffs.

Very good place with specialty coffee in Bologna. Americano is around 3-4€, but they have a large variety of drinks for coffee lovers (even you can choose the base robusta or arabica). Must visit, very unique place in Bologna

Amazing coffee! The service is beyond than expected! You don’t t see such passion for coffee and for your profession every day. My wife order tea, and it also was perfect. Including the special dishes that used for service. The pastries was super fresh and delicious. Definitely will come back next time, and recommend to anyone who travel to Bologna! Perfect place to stop for a coffee. It was just up the road from our Airbnb so we visited most mornings of our stay. The staff were very friendly and the coffee & croissant was delicious.

Coffee and Tiramisu were delicious. They’re busy but they’re also fast, nice music and perfect location, gonna come back again🤟🏻

The food and coffee is good. However, the operations can be quite unpredictable. Some days they will offer table service. Some days they want payment after ordering or before you leave. Sometimes you can queue for 15 minutes behind just 2-3 other people because there is no clear ordering system. On occasion, the manager gets so frustrated with their operations that they will close the shop in the middle of the day and ask you to leave even after you have paid and wasted 20 minutes waiting for your coffee. I hope the owners work better with the talented staff to experiment with better systems for running the shop when it's busy, because it's not fair for the staff to work in such a volatile environment.

Sampled several cafes during a week in Bologna, and Mister Coffee was simply the best. Superb coffee, service, pastries. Even for an espresso, Vlad asked for our preferences so that he could select the most appropriate beans. Next time in this wonderful city, this will be my only cafe. (also, thank you for recovering the umbrellas that we left in your shop!!)

A wonderful cafe serving delicious food and desserts. The staff is super quick and helpful. The only downside is that it's totally packed, inside and out. But it kind of comes with the territory at popular places.

As a coffee fanatic from the US that only drinks freshly roasted pour over coffee, Mister Coffee Bistro was a great find! Not only do they have various pour over brew methods to maximize extraction and flavor (V60, Aeropress, syphon), but they have incredible croissants and other tasty looking food to start your day. Don’t get me wrong, I also enjoy espresso, but it takes a specialty bar in Italy for the pour over!

Pro coffee, very helpful staff, excellent choice. I'll be back! update: I was back, but they weren't open at 0810 on a Monday morning. so if you need breakfast before work, this might not be the place for you.

My favorite cafe in Bologna. I went here three mornings in a row. By far the best cappuccinos I have had in my whole time in Italy. Amazing atmosphere, service, and food. This needs to be a place you check out during your visit of the beautiful city!
