Amazing stay! Very kind staff Always available to help. Very clean hotel.

I just went to visit my cousins staying there until Sunday 21 August and departing Monday 22 August. Based on their feedback as guests they are unsatisfied staying at the Rovuma Hotel and they will never recommend.

Hotel was clean, staff friendly, and food in the restaurant was delicious. Great place to stay while in Maputo.

Great location, nice restaurant, helpful and polite staff. The rooms, however, need to be renovated and much better cleaned.

The hotel is still one of the best options in the Maputo City, to have a confortable stay, although it has it's notable weaknesses with the Internet, the pool and the restaurant services.

The place have lost its appeal of many years ago.....they advertise hotel apartments with kitchenette but it's actually just a kettle not a kitchen they provided. Water from the tap was red on arrival, wifi is not working in the rooms, aircons is not working in half the rooms......not a good experience at all.

Beautiful place to stay with a good view of the bridge

Service and room were good. Air-conditioning worked, as did the WiFi in all parts of the hotel. Can get a bit noisy as it's in the middle of town, but not too bad, even with the massive party that was happening somewhere down the road. Bar is grossly overpriced, but that I suppose is to be expected in a city hotel. Overall a repeatable experience :)

It took 45minutes to make a cappuccino and then another 15min urea to receive the bill.

This hotel, Pestana Rovuma Hotel, located at the city centre has been there for years. Here guests can have the comfort they often look for and enjoy some of the best Mozambican dishes. Although the hotel industry has been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Rovuma Hotel is still open for guests.

A nice hotel with astonishing view to the Maputo Cathedral, the City Hall, the Indian ocean (Maputo Bay) and the central part of the capital. Building is tall but was not crowded when I visited. Nice restaurant on the second floor with a terrace and access to the external swimming pool. Wifi however is very poor, though free. I had to go to the lobby or the restaurant to get decent reception. Rooms are clean and offer a balcony with the same amazing view. Air conditioned, but the AC unit in my room was quite noisy, blowing like a hurricane. In brief, very nice place, I even enjoyed the live music at the restaurant one night. Would recommend it!

The hotel has a decent standard. The rooms are large, have good interior and bathrooms, with a private balcony. The view is down to the cathedral with a nice sunset in the background at dusk. The included breakfast is provided as a buffet. There are fresh fruits, cereals, eggs & omelets (cooked to order) and hot sausages, beacon, beans and potatoes. You can have it in the nicely styled restaurant room or on the balcony with view of the cathedral. The pool is small but offers a nice refresher when the temperatures rise over 40C. There are some deck chairs. At night you can have a variety of drinks at the bar - also on the balcony. The hotel also provides conference rooms, a small gym and free internet (which is not available at high speed in all rooms).

Parking was secure, reception was very friendly and efficient in getting us booked without a reservation. The food was not up to standard, the dinner was okay but not acceptable for the price, breakfast was also not up to standard as the confectionary items did not taste fresh. Overall safe hotel in Maputo, with friendly staff but food can be improved.

Great experience, quiet place and great services.

The rooms are clean, the staff helpful and the views from the rooms are amazing. It is also accessible from most parts of Maputo and you can walk to several good sites within the city. Highly recommended.
