    Alex is an incredible trainer. He works with you to determine your goals and what you’d like to achieve. He actually develops a program for you that takes your goals into consideration. Each session, Alex helps you work toward your goals, and his custom workouts build on those goals so you see progress. He’s communicative, in tune, and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve never had a trainer like Alex; he pays attention to my progress and to my body. He listens and challenges me to do better. Highly, highly recommended!

    I have been working out with Alex for over 6 months and feel he is an excellent trainer! Alex connects to identify goals and paths towards achieving them. Alex checks in about your progress each session as well as how you are feeling to ensure that the exercises for the day make sense for where you are. Alex accommodates your program to fit your abilities while also pushing you past them. I feel that his approach to exercise is about working with your body in an individualized way rather than trying to find a generic program that fits everyone. Highly recommend Alex as a trainer!

His body weight training focuses on form and I really like the results. My physical therapist also complimented my perfect form that Alex taught me when I showed her some of my exercises.     Alex is awesome! My husband and I have been working with him for just shy of three months and our stamina, strength, and body compositions have changed drastically. He’s patient and attentive while teaching new moves and methods and always careful to make sure we are working hard without over exerting ourselves. We’ve tried other trainers, programs, and methods but Alex is who you want to work with if you want to feel amazing in your own body. Don’t hesitate!

    Working with Alex the last 6 months has been life changing. I hit my goal of losing 20 pounds and I’m the fittest I’ve ever been. Not only is Alex a great trainer, but he’s a great person and fun to spend time with. He keeps workouts exciting with a variety of different exercises. Highly recommend!

    No matter where you on your calisthenics or strength training journey, this gym is for you. I’ve been working with Arash for about 5 months now and he’s helped me progress to more advanced calisthenics skills like the front lever and handstand push-ups. I wouldn’t have been able to get to this point without Arash. Whether you’re trying to do your first pull-up or want to do awesome calisthenics moves, Arash is definitely your guy. He’s really smart, he has high expectations, he’s mastered all the hard skills, and my favorite part is his ability to easily change up your training based on what he notices and his knowledge of progressive calisthenics. I’m really starting to feel like the sky is the limit in my calisthenics training and there’s no better feeling! Highly recommended!

    Update (July 2023): I got to work with Thomas temporarily because the team was kind enough to accommodate to my schedule as we moved a bit further out from downtown Denver. Thomas is great and super professional! He’s helped address specific items such as exercises to support my injury recovery and rebuild muscle from areas that haven’t been activated in a while. His ability to help me monitor my form in specific exercises has helped me execute them more effectively and give some speed to my progression. The whole team at Capra is fantastic and you’ll never go wrong with any of the team members there. I recently moved to Denver and did a lot of research about which gym I wanted to go to and even considered trainers that would come to my apartment building as well. I stumbled upon Alex Ceban Bodyweight Training online and was intrigued immediately. I had a consultation setup within hours and went in for it the same day. I connected with the trainer Arash and have been working with him since July 2021. He’s been a fantastic professional and a fun trainer to work with. I always look forward to going to my sessions and I have booked 3 sessions of 1on1s per week. I would highly recommend this over any other gym as body weight training actually lets you visualize your progress and understand it rather than adding more weight to a machine. I am someone that tried weight lifting several times and unfortunately couldn’t find the best use out of just because of my personal body goals and previous injuries. However, bodyweight training has been a really big game changer as you get to see results with the exercises that you progress with. To add to that, Arash facilitated the success in a great way and has been extremely flexible as well. An extra perk is that the team at the gym are dog lovers, so you can bring in your pup if you ever can’t find anyone to watch them during your sessions. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to work on building their body strength and even just general balance. To further improve on a successful formula, I think the gym can incorporate more tips on nutrition as your work is rendered useless if you don’t know how to best manage your food intake. However, when you do begin they give you some good rules of thumb to help guide you.

    I’ve been working out with Alex through group sessions for a few months now. Super happy with the results and I’m losing weight and getting stronger. Booking appointments with Alex is as easy as sending a text. He’s professional, supportive and encouraging during workouts. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a smaller group training setting!

    I’ve been working with Arash for a little over 6 months, and my strength has significantly increased! I now have a solid strength routine that I can take with me when I travel, which was difficult to do with my pre-Capra routine with free weights or machines. If you’re looking for a sustainable and well-designed strength training routine using not much more than your own body and some props, Capra is for you. Arash will *politely* push you to reach your own limits : )

    I've been training with Thomas at Capra for a couple months and I'm impressed with the program as well as his professionalism. He is incredibly encouraging and always maintains a calm, patient, and welcoming presence that helps assist one in their path towards getting into shape. Thomas approaches training in a rational and knowledgeable way and I've learned a great deal about how the body works and why bodyweight exercises, calisthenics, mobility, and progressive training can unlock one's potential. He has a keen eye for form and shows by example how to do the exercises and how to progress through them, even for a beginner like myself. I highly recommend Thomas if you're looking for a trainer and Capra as the place to improve your body and mind.

    I trained with Thomas for a couple months and highly recommend working with him. He is knowledgeable, conducted a thorough evaluation of my strength and mobility, along with my goals, prior to building my plan. While training I’ve begun working on more advanced movements and the entire time he has helped ensure form is not compromised, minimizing the likelihood of injury and maximizing progress.

    I’ve been here a little less than 4 months and I have finally accomplished goals that I couldn’t reach before when I was training on my own. Arash has been an awesome, personable trainer and thanks to his guidance I’m able to do chin ups, pull-ups, tricep dips, etc. I’m excited to keep at it and see what else my body can do!

    I’ve been to a lot of gyms and done various modalities but body weight training with Arash for the last 5 months has shown the best results in my strength and abilities. The programming is concise and efficient and varied enough to where you can see progression week to week. Arash, the gym, and the programming make it easy to stay consistent! This is well worth the time and financial investment!!!

    I’ve been at Capra for over a year working with Thomas. Thomas is very patient, kind and super helpful when it comes to my fitness and movement goals.     I’ve been training here for a couple of months with Arash, and it’s been a great journey! Arash is super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helped tailor the workout to fit my goals and progress each day. Even in this short period, my core strength has already increased, which was one of my goals going into this training. I was also struggling with lower back pain but Arash made sure to teach me the right techniques for each exercise, which helped reduce the stress on my lower back. Would highly recommend Arash and Capra bodyweight training! :)

    Training with Arash just twice per week has led to a huge improvement in my skills. I’m doing new progressions I hadn’t even considered being able to do before. Also, the small group format is really fun, while allowing for as much individual support as I need. Super pleased with Capra and Arash.
