This place is a disaster! Do not ever eat here! The chef is incompetent and the kitchen staff is abysmal. They will serve you unedible food that has been left out for days. Management is a joke! Ask for their health inspection score before you order any food! Avoid at all costs!

Walked in on a Saturday night. There was no wait. The server was very polite and attentive. They have a decent wine list. We got cocktails and wine, both were good. For food we ate the elote and chèvre dip. It was quite tasty but too much. By the time the food came out neither of us could finish our plates. The lamb tenderloin was well cooked and the different sauces were welcome. The salad with added chicken seemed to do the job too. We finished with the matcha crème brûlée which was quite pleasant. I would go back but I’m not in a rush.

Terrible, would not return. Was seated at a dirty booth. Waitress cleaned the booth with a wet rag so when I sat I got wet. I assumed she was just sweeping it off. Ordered a medium steak, it came out rare on one side. Didn’t send it back but commented on it to the server. Chef insisted it was “steakhouse medium” and sent the server back out to tell me so. . Had to Google images of the steak temperature range again just to make sure I wasn’t crazy. Definitely undercooked and insulting that the chef sent the bartender back out to argue about it. Terrible service all around. Now I understand why the place was deserted on a Friday night. Stay away. So many better steakhouses in Colorado. Only saving grace was the bartender/server. His service was great.

We had breakfast at the Range restaurant. The chorizo burrito was excellent and so was the eggs benedict. Very relaxing setting. They don't have an espresso machine but that didn't stop them from going to another part of the hotel and bringing one to the table in a to-go cup that we could then pour into the coffee cup on the table. You don't find that service many places these days.

This is an “upscale” bar restaurant on the ground floor of a hotel. We walked in around 8 on a weeknight and only waited a few minutes while they set up a table for our party of 4. Service was good. Several very loud parties were there and it made conversation a bit hard. The burrata appetizer was delicious. My friend said his Caesar salad was fishy ( a bit heavy handed on the anchovies I guess…) Brussel sprout salad was fine, citrus salad was good (canned mandarin oranges), burger was good, jalapeño poppers very hot and chocolate cake was chocolate cake. Overall, fine. Good drink menu. Ordered a house cocktail ($18) that was great. Food was reasonably priced, considering city eating can get pricey. Wouldn’t recommend for an intimate dinner with a date or family though because of the bar vibe/loudness. I can’t speak to parking because we walked here.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I would boycott this restaurant if I lived in CO. I called about 1.5 hours ago and asked about ordering a Thanksgiving dinner for my son who will be alone on Thanksgiving. I live across the country. They told me to go on Open Table and if I couldn't order it there to call back and they would take my order. My son looked and said it sounded great! I called and was told the GM said they cannot do any more Thanksgiving dinners. I asked to speak with the GM and he told me the same thing. I asked him why they were saying I couldn't order it when they had told me I could and I had just gone on-line and made a reservation for 6PM Thanksgiving night outside. His reply was "we'll see how that works out since it's suppose to be 30 degrees that night". RUDE!!! They need to get their act together!

Okay, so the Wagu Shortrib wasn't that good at all. It was pretty fatty and for Wagu it shouldn't be. It was the same as making a pot roast at home honestly. My wife got a burger and said the best thing about it was the bacon bits that were on it. Only upside is we got a free dessert since it took over 30 minutes for the burger. We also received a comped entree on our next visit. I can't say I'll be back anytime soon, but yeah. I can't recommend it.

We got into Denver last night and decided to go for a steak. We are staying in downtown Denver, there were a lot of options! We decided to give the Range restaurant a try. Glad we did!! It was a great experience. The restaurant is tucked into the Renaissance hotel. And talk about a beautiful lobby! It used to be a Bank building back in the day, it was nice to see the history preserved and added to. The range restaurant was on the smaller end sizewise but definitely packed a big punch. We went around 6:00 on a Friday night and we we're sat right away. Our server was extremely good, very friendly, had great follow up. I started with the green pork stew. Omg it was delish. My little taste buds were singing. At the perfect amount of spice, was topped with sour cream, so, so, good! My kiddo got the flat iron steak surfed with fries, chimichurrier sauce on the side. She loved the french fries, steak was really good. I went with the fillet which was served with experience and sliced potatoes. My steak is cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. The meal was top-notch! After we finished eating we walked around the lobby and marveled at the tree and beautiful architectural details. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stopped in twice over a couple days I was in town on travel. Sat at the bar both times. First time, just got a drink. Second time, got the Warm Brussels Sprouts Salad for lunch. Both times, the bartender was great and the salad was very nice.

range is truly your home. The beautiful dining room is welcoming and comfortable. The staff heeded my reservation request for a quiet corner where my blind, autistic son would be comfortable. The waitstaff was beyond professional, organized, knowledgeable, and friendly. My husband, who is a quiet guy and perennially overlooked, was stoked that the waitress noticed him! We ordered the festive holiday gin and cranberry drink for everyone as this was our daughter’s 21st birthday feast. The drinks were beautiful and bright. For apps, shrimp and crab cocktail and duck confit poutine (next time, I’m ordering this for myself as an entree, it’s too good to share). The crab was sweet and fresh, the shrimp cooked perfectly and they were huge! The cocktail sauce is abundant, more than needed really, and it was just a standard horseradish cocktail sauce. I don’t like horseradish much, so we wiped the sauce off and ate the meat. Entrees were lamb shank Shepard’s pie, the ribeye, the habanero bacon burger, diver scallops, and bison meatloaf. The meat was largely missing (or hidden?) in the shepards pie. The steak was a buttery , perfect med rare and the potato dauphinois was magical! The bacon burger and huge potato wedges are perfect for a big eater. The scallops were seared to perfection, though no one ate the quinoa risotto as it tasted and felt a bit like cold oatmeal. The bison meatloaf was more bison than loaf and the flavor and texture were exquisite great potatoes in that dish too. Dessert was caramel torte with fruit and the pumpkin cheesecake. To both I say More Please! We will be back. $365 to feed five with one cocktail each and a $50 tip. Home home on the range is the place to eat meat in Denver.

Great food and fantastic service! The seared scallops and risotto are a must. The pork green chili and candied bacon was a hit at the table.

Literally the butt of the lettuce included. Asked for the salmon medium and it was completely raw. The salad was fine but nothing exciting. The pictures of the food looked really good so I was quite upset. Apparently this lunch chef doesn’t know what a medium salmon is. It was extremely uneven as well. The servers were very helpful and nice. That was the big positive.

High class restaurant with a date night vibe. Enjoyed the wine, scallops, fillet, and buffalo meat balls with my husband. Bread pudding was also very good. Expensive with mid-size portions, but it is advertised as such, so you know what you're getting going in. Service was very good from Al.

5 out of 5 experience!! Absolutely delicious and best accommodations ever, the staff was professional and willing to assist with dietary options and specialty drinks!! Such delicious filet, cowboy roll melted in your mouth, grilled chicken, fantastic asparagus, the best burrata melting in your mouth, lamb was well cooked and flavorful with amazingly unique sauce that added to the experience, saffron rice pilaf cooked to perfection, great duchess potatoes, and amazing banana foster bread pudding!! We would definitely recommend this culinary experience!!

Service and food were both excellent! Large group of 12 of us and they accommodated us with ease! Sean at the bar was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The pork belly was melt in your mouth.

We had a fantastic experience at the range. Wait staff were helpful and prompt. The Cowboy Bison ribeye was tender and flavorful. Highly recommend the range to anyone.

We stopped in here late night on our first night in Denver. Skylar the bartender was extremely friendly and welcoming. Good beer selection. We only ordered some small plates and apps but everything was great and well prepared. I highly recommend the field and stream board. I will definitely be stopping back to try out some more dishes.

We ordered four appetizers to share and all of them were really good. The portions were not as small as we had forethought; in fact, we should have ordered only three so we could also try the desserts. Will definitely come back to try more of the menu.

I got the flank steak medium rare. It was cooked very unevenly. Some parts were medium rare but most of it was borderline medium well. The overcooked parts were so tough they were inedible. It came with a small arugula salad and a ton of fries, so I didn't leave hungry. The steak was very disappointing though. I originally gave 2 stars but the waiter took the steak off the bill. I didn't even ask him to, he just noticed that I didn't eat a lot of it.

Pretty straight down the middle steakhouse with nothing standing out or being extraordinary that I saw or tasted. I would recommend their wine list as they offer multiple high-end quality choices for under $100 all over the menu... which is rare to see.

Phenomenal. Classic marble building in the middle of Denver makes for an urban experience that is quiet and classy. Food is rich and flavorful. Special thanks to Fred for his patience, calmness, and kindness. Happy to have made a new friend. Go to the hotel bar in the lobby adjacent before or after for a peaceful turn of the century experience.

Wow. The Colorado Lamb and the Bison steak were both incredible. Our server was absolutely on point and had great suggestions. We should have just had one dessert to split but we ordered both and ended up eating every bite because it was so good (créme brulee & tres leches)

Terrible!! Visited the restaurant last Saturday with friends and enjoyed our evening. Now home 15,000 miles away and checked my card statement to see I was double billed. We split the bill between 2 cards and both cards were charged the total bill. We’ve contacted the restaurant and they’ve played ping pong we resolving the matter. Will contact my card company to open a dispute.

Service was definitely good, food was ok not great, I was expecting more for what I paid. The combination of the Salmon with lentils no good, the chicken mole i order it was just avarage nothing wow, the scallops plate that my wife order wasn't that good, I think my daughter was the only one who liked the food which was a bacon cheese burger! You can't go wrong with that.

Perfect for a hassle free 3 course Thanksgiving dinner! Food was amazing, service was friendly and quick, and I didn’t have to cook a single item or clean a single dish today. I especially enjoyed the wine pairings with dinner! I highly recommend for Thanksgiving! Thank you to all the staff who made this a wonderful experience tonight!

Delicious dinner. It was a cold night and we opted for comfort food - the bison meatloaf entree was rich and decadent. Our starters were also just right - Parmesan truffle potato wedges tasty but the real star was warm elote corn and chevre dip. On the pricier side but worth it.

First it is a beautiful space. The chairs are low however. It took a long time to get our food, more than an hour. Good: tomato soup, bison meatloaf, house salad, pear salad, lava cake, risotto. Not so good ribeye steak lots of fat, ordered medium well received medium rare so they cooked it more. The side dauohinese which potatoes was not good. Overall would probably try again
