The place really smelled of cigarettes and though I understand there's a smoking zone but that smell is all over the restaurant, for some of us who don't smoke, that really isn't a pleasant place to sit and enjoy your food.

I was welcomed by by a lovely Waitress. The atmosphere was good. But he food was just not it. The fries were soggy and cold and my burger was swimming in tomato sauce.

Disgusted. The waitress came up to me asking if I was still going to order something and already had my bill in her hands... Felt like I was being chased away. I am reporting this branch to head office for the absolutely disgraceful service received.

Wimpy is simply the best family breakfast restaurant in town . Great coffee , consistent and tasty meals and great service.

Visit the restaurant today, it was nice and clean... no dirty tables to be seen. Staff was and helped me with my wheel chair. Food was excellent and waitress was quick and friendly.

After one epic fail and three false starts my wife and I decided to go for a Wimpy breakfast as part of her ongoing birthday celebration. Because we were close to Centurion Mall we decided to go there on the provision that if it like any of the occasions that we would give Wimpy a wide berth for the rest of our lives. We were met by smiling and laughing staff at the restaurant entrance. Salome took us to our seats and took care of us throughout our time in the restaurant. We received our food like we ordered it. Salome also ensured that we were okay at regular intervals. The restaurant was clean, the staff busy and we noticed healthy communication between staff members and staff with eating customers. What really surprised us was the owner of the restaurant was also in the restaurant mingling with his staff. We asked Salome to ask the owner to join us which he gladly. We complemented him on the way his staff behaved as well as his interaction with his staff. We take the time to drive to Wimpy Centurion Mall for breakfast. Our thanks and appreciation to the owner Nick and his staff to make us feel welcome and to feed us in true South African hospitality. Salome also gathered her team to sing happy birthday to my wife and presented her with complementary ice cream. Too beautiful. Thank you Nick, thank you Salome and Anne for your hospitality.

Wimpy has been my go-to place for breakfasts. Maybe generic for some, but to me that means no unwanted surprises. The food is always consistant and their cappuccinos are perfect. But when I was a younger man, and I dug into their perfect burgers as well and shakes. That sauce they have is to die for.

Service does not exist, even when they are nearly empty. Waiter couldn't care a hoot when we told her we're leaving to rather have our brunch at Mugg & Bean after we paid for our drinks.
