As a traveler from the United States and avid cigar smoker, I found a home away from home here, although products were obviously different, Rhino and the other amazingly helpful staff were able to help me daily. I recommend trying the villager’s brand of cigars if looking for an economical gateway or fix.. my fiancée a native of joburg was also in love with this shop and we purchased many cannnibis related items, only sad thing was they have no dispensary for flower.. hopefully that changes soon and can be a one stop shop….. Wonderful tobacco shop with very friendly staff and are always willing to assist. They have stock most of the time and if they do not have, they go the extra mile to inform you as soon as they have received stock. I have never waited for stock longer than a week. If a product goes off the market or they will not be selling it anymore, they notify you as well in advance. They always ask the customers what they think of a new product, they are very customer orientated.

Very welcoming and warming staff at Ye Olde Tobacconist. They are very clued up in the products and always go the extra mile. Just their smiles and friendly characters can make you want to come back everytime. A big big thumbs up to Leonard the manager...hes always smiling and being extremely helpful and understanding.

This is a fantastic shop. The level of service is great. I usually go to Ye Olde Tobacco House to buy Yankee candles, but have bought other things such as Zippo lighters as well. The staff are very friendly, and are helpful. They are very knowledgeable in their products, and are always happy to help without being pushy.

Overall good. Just got the idea the sales person was new. Telling a customer to give the money, in Sandton city is never a good thing. But over all nice shop
