My friend Nomkhosi introduced me to this beautiful spot on Glenwood. The food and venue is beautiful. I ate breakfast there and was so stuffed but I couldn't resist buying their Pastéis de Nata, it absolutely didn't disappoint. Highly recommended.

The space is astoundingly beautiful, a perfect balance of nature and homeliness. The waitress who served us was so amazing I'm so mad I didn't ask her name, she made my experience so warm, such a lovely being. The food was out of this world. I enjoyed every moment. It's also affordable and away from the busy life. I definitely recommend Savior Café and I'll be returning for sure.

Relaxed outdoor seating. Chilled music. Good service. The breakfast was excellent value. Fresh ingredients and very well prepared. The iced americano was perfect for the Durban heat. I can confidently recommend this place for an easy going breakfast or lunch.

The service is great. Very tranquil setting. Wide selection of food and cakes. The carrot cake and cheese cake is to die for. Sourdough options available. Very popular for take away coffee and cake (wide selection). Breakfast is served until 11am. Also has a private room for small functions.

The food was great however, the service was mediocre I think for once I experienced what racism was. As we walked in the cafe yard no body welcomed us except one waiter who happened to be the other race in these exact words; choose any place to sit’ not a formal greeting or anything and we had stood waiting for 5min chose to sit by the bench where they walked passed by. Fast forward we found a place ordered our meal, that was breakfast. We requested for the bill for payment surprisingly the prices had already increased which weren’t appearing on the menu nor did the waiter explain anything. We called for the manager first we complained about the service then the rudeness of the waiter he replied ‘that how we work here, sorry’ For once in my life I am going to say, I will never ever in my life go back there. Being black is not crime!

Always a delightful experience at Saviour Cafe. The outdoor space is pleasant. Staff is professional and efficient. Love the music and ambience. While the base of the baked cheesecake was delicious, the topping tasted sour, similar to a plain yoghurt and didnt complement the cheesecake at all. Suggest a different topping to enhance this cheesecake.

Amazing food, amazing staff, best egg Benedict and cappuccino ever!! Definitely recommend this cafe for a little breakfast for 2! Loved it :)

After a grueling morning driving up from lower south coast and negotiating strange roads in unfriendly parts of Durban, it was a true pleasure to find this delightful warm welcoming Cafe with decent parking......very charming place.....old fashioned....BEST COFFEE....yummy toasted sarmies.....it's a soul place.....space for every one......very nice menu.....good prices.....love the vibe.....excellent staff. Thank you.....a little oasis out the storm

We really enjoyed this place. We found it as we was driving in the area and decided to stop for lunch. Beautiful atmosphere, peaceful and chilled atmosphere. The owner and his wife are also on site . I have met them both. Friendly owners and staff. They have a good range of different meals . I had the 3 bean salad. It was the best 3 bean salad I had.The portion size was more than enough for 1 person. I will definitely recommend this place . I hope to go back there soon.

It's a trendy chilled out spot with a warm homely feel, the food was delicious. Been here a few times to try out different items. Had the best old fashioned pastrami and mustard sandwich. Staff is warm, greatly knowledgeable and friendly. A little gem of a place to visit for a morning bite or afternoon lunch.

We looked forward to our breakfast today as it was really nice the last time we were here, but we were disappointed. I asked for my egg to have a soft yolk and for my bacon to be well done yet when the food arrived the egg yolk was hard, my bacon was tough, cold and chewy. My partners food wasn't much better. We ate the breakfasts as we were in a hungry and waited so long for the food that now we were in a rush to go, but when we complained and the waiter rolled his eyes at me, so rude! he said he would tell the manager but I didn't believe him so I then asked to speak to the manager and he said she wasn't there. We overheard a couple who left before us complain about their food and the two staff were talking about them after they left which I found very unprofessional. This place must just leave their staff of mostly teenagers to run things. @ Winnie S - I don't know if it's racism or it's just lazy teenagers running the place and the owners are chilling at home?
