I really enjoyed this ski resort , there has to be at least 200 kilometers of piste to explore. Despite the poor snow earlier this year the snow machines and groomers managed to rebuild the slopes every night. I snowboarded here for a week and every day kept finding new routes, spent a day at the snowpark all the jumps were in top condition. The only negative I have really was the prices in the bars for food and drink.

Nice place for more experienced skiers, good reds down the mountains, but the blues are rather limited. Better to shift west to the other lifts areas if you are a starter or just like an easy ride down.

Stayed in Pas de la Casa, probably the best resort in the area, wide slopes, plenty of accommodation and dining options, you can walk to the skiing lifts. Parking is not easy, but manageable. Ski schools of different sorts, for groups or private lessons, excellent options for kids. Supermarkets available, as well as clothing, perfumes and glasses shops. Safe at night.

I loved to ski there. One of the best ski resorts I've ever been to. Amazing slopes (Grandvalira has over 200 km of slopes, 3/4 sectors just regrouped in one), for all ski levels. However, ski rent and pass are still expansive but I think it's the same in all ski resorts. There's clearly not enough time in the day to do all the slopes and I recommend at least 3/4+ days to enjoy and explore Grandvalira

There are many starting point with parking lots for this resort. We went to Grau Roig to park (free). Ski rentals seemed fair, 1 day rental starts at €18.50+€2 for insurance. The skipass is €51 per day, which is a bit expensive. You get WiFi access code with skipass, which if you register with email can use for the rest of your stay/days. At the weekend the slopes are very busy and need to queue for lift quite a lot. The slopes are great, good quality and loved the scenery as well! On Monday (18/02/2019) the place was busy again due to school holidays. So the slopes were packed with group of kids.

One of the most favourite sectors of grandvalira. Offers more of red routes than anything else though. Also it has a great smaller snow park for beginners. The one in El Tarter is for more skilled riders.

Spent many a ski trip at this resort since 1990 but this is the first time I've been since they connected up to Soldeu. Sadly the snow was rubbish but can't blame the resort for that. Only down side was that they "closed" the only return route from the far side back to Pas. We were forced to ignore it to find out it really wasn't as bad as a couple of the open runs! Half way up the last lift from Grau Roof they closed it for the day so was a close run thing!!

One of the best ski resorts I've ever been to. Amazing slopes, Grandvalira has over 200 km of slopes, incredible snow powder. There's not enough time in the day to do all the slopes in one day.

Not so cool as I wanted. Only chairlifts in the whole area, no gondola or chairlifts with cap. Easy slopes in comparing with alps. Bad snow condition at March (no freeride). Bars and restaraunts mostly at bottom area.

Huge expanse of pistes and off piste options too. You won't get bored in one week. Only missing some better, more home cooking type of restaurants.

I loved it. Many slopes for beginners and experienced ones. Competitive prices. Definitely a great experience. 🙌

For time of year and the warmer than usual weather they keep the pistes really well
