The Venetian Towers is the popular name for a pair of towers on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina at its intersection with Plaça d'Espanya in Barcelona. There is a tower on each side of the street. The towers are 47 m high and have a square floor plan of 7.2 m x 7.2 m. Impressive historical architecture. The 2 Venetian towers fit well into the cityscape. They were built on the occasion of the World Exhibition in 1929 and, thank God, have been preserved.

After seeing the magic fountain show, we walked to Espanya Square. There are big and very beautiful fountains on both sides of the street that we enjoyed seeing. This short walk became memorable for us!!

The twin towers reach 47 m in height and were built on a square plan with a diagonal measuring 7.2 m. They were modeled on the bell tower of the Basilica of St. Mark in Venice. They can be viewed only from the outside - they are opened to the public only once a year.

47 meters high towers from 1929, built for the 1929 Barcelona international exposition in Veneciane style, looking like the St. Mark's Campanile in Venice.

The Venetian towers are one of the meeting points of Barcelona. It is at the foot of the Montjuic fountain and next to the bullring. It is a very characteristic and attractive place for tourists. I think that at certain times of the day you can climb its stairs and look at the roof of the city. Highly recommended for those people who are curious to see Barcelona from above. Also for those who want to leave the money.

Interesting towers but nothing earth-shattering. However, the entire area around the towers is worth seeing, which is why you pass here anyway. The view of the towers down from the National Museum with the long street in the foreground is definitely worth seeing. The towers are also easy to orientate yourself on.

We weee there for a football match. It was crowded but the imposing structures are a sight to behold. With several other spots nearby, it makes this a no brainer to recognise its place as a Barcelona tourist place to visit.

Two towers stand as doors to the city, very impressive and grand. Would be interesting if they had night lights pointing towards them.

These two towers make an imposing end (or start) point for the grand avenue leading up to the Palau Nacional on Montjuïc. They have not been accessible to the public for years. They could be climbed in their early years. Well worth a wandering around.

The Venetian Towers (Torres Venecianes) is a popular twin tower situated in front of the Plaça d'Espanya. It is constructed using artificial stone, red brick and topped by a pyramidal copper roof. There is viewing gallery at the top built of artificial stone. It looks beautiful at night.

Very beautiful towers. Go to the arena mall and go all the way to the rooftop for panaramic views

Two parallel towers located between espanya square and the magical fountain. In style they are reminiscent of St. Mark's Square in Venice, very aesthetically pleasing, there is no possibility to climb the towers.

A twin-tower monument sandwich between the arena and the palace. The area is filled with roadside 'trinket dealers' but they are not very intrusive. Do mind your belongings if you are touring the area.
