👍👍 Depends on your expectation. Small family-run place with cold beer, great squids and friendly smiles. Nothing fancy, but you eat with locals laughing around, which is more valuable for me. People often mention tapas,

Come here to eat like a local and definitely try Bobma de carne de terneta y salsa tomate - this is tasty local dish. All the croquets are tender and tasty as well. Patatas bravas itself not so good (I don’t like the way potato cooked) but the sauce is great so it fix the problem :)

Loved by the locals, this tiny tapas bar is outstanding. The tapas are homemade and although the service can get slow depending on the time of day (it can get pretty busy and I believe it's family run), its worth the visit. The coolest part of this pub is the adjoining wine store to its left. It sells wine directly from barrels for takeaway, and the pub's self produced bottles of wine. Great for an afternoon drink after the beach.

Great Old school place, from outside smells delicious, inside you can eat delicious tapas cooked in small batches and drink fresh beers or good wine in a cosy and comfortable environment. The staff is nice and honest with you about portion sizes paring of different tapas and how much time it'll take. One of my favourites in poblenou

It's a known secret that this is The place to go when it comes down to really delicious local dishes. Savour the unique cooking of Barcelona the way it should be, authentic and plain simple dishes those are hard to get done right. Shortcut to paradise promised.

Excellent tapas (we tried fried boquerones, patatas bravas and chipirones). Also try a black vermut. Tiny space and popular with locals. While some reviews say it's expensive, we didn't think so based on flavor and compared to stuff we tried around touristy spots.

Three of us ate here during the Poblenou Festival which meant it was rather busy and chaotic. I had offered to pay and was horrified by the size of the bill for what were, quite simply, snacks...and we only had soft drinks! People say it's popular and it's very old, but we'll not be back!

A veteran establishment that still sells wine in abundance. The tapas are freshly made, as are the patatas bravas and cuttlefish. One of the oldest and best places to have an aperitif in this working-class port district.
