    Amazing! My journey with Alan as a personal trainer has started last summer and it’s been a fantastic experience. He really worked with my specific needs and truly understands what is necessary to help me meet my goals. In just few months I have been able to beat my personal bests at almost every race. Alan is always on hand to answer any questions and is really good in making you feel motivated. I would recommend him to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Alan!

    Alan is a fantastic and very professional coach. I've seen a massive difference both in my fitness level and my pace since I started training with PB group a couple of years ago. I've just done Berlin marathon and completed it with a great 16 minutes PB thanks to the training plan. Make sure you reach out to him if you live in Bcn!

    I couldn't be happier with the decision I made last August to contact Alan to help me prepare for my second marathon with a plan adapted to my abilities and experience. The results have been more than satisfactory, my pace has improved a lot in all distances and I completed the marathon with much better results than expected. But the best thing is that I have enjoyed every training session with Alan and the whole running club. I couldn't recommend it more!

    I've been training with Alan for a while now and it has made such a huge difference to my running technique, pace and confidence. I'm much fitter and stronger now than when I first started exercising with him. He recently did a custom half marathon training plan for me and I couldn't be happier with the result. If you live in the Barcelona area or even if you're looking for an online training program I 110% recommend PB:Training.

    After a few years of very half-hearted exercise I started a course of personal training sessions with Alan a couple of months ago and have surprised myself by really enjoying it. Alan is an excellent trainer, he is experienced and knowledgeable and there's no chance of being bored as each session is different. He's completely non judgemental and encouraging and I'd highly recommend him to anyone as a trainer.

    Alan's classes are great. I joined a couple of months ago as I wanted to do more interval training but wasn't pushing myself enough on my own. Alan's interval classes are clearly challenging but fun at the same time. Alan will set the objective for you, record your results and send them to you so you can easily track your improvements. I've definitely improved since I joined. The proof is I got a PB when I ran Barcelona half in February so super proud. And Alan was there to cheer on us all :) To top it all, you get to train by the sea, with a friendly group of runners and you can join the strength & conditioning classes too, so you don't just run.

    Alan is a great running coach that will help you to achieve your personal goals. I can highly recommend him! We were working together for a couple of months to prepare me for my first marathon (Barcelona one). Based on my previous running experience, Alan created a personal plan for the race. It was a diverse and regular set of training pieces. It was not the inflexible one that you can find online. It was the opposite. We were adapting the plan based on my agenda, trips, and mainly individual perception regarding my fatigue. Alan also helped me to mentally prepare for the race, patiently answering all of my questions regarding not only training but also nutrition, tactics, etc. Constant communication is another great example of Alan's professionalism. I've finished the marathon, and even that was not the part of the plan I've had my personal bests on the 10k or half marathon distance. Once again, I can highly recommend Alan as a coach!

    I started coming to the odd interval session with PB Running in March 2022 before deciding to sign up for a training plan for the summer back in June. My goal was to run a Half Marathon, something I have not done for about 10 years. Alan set me a 3-month, personalised, week-by-week training plan and he was with me every step of the way. Yesterday I completed the Bristol Half Marathon in 1 hour 40 minutes and I couldn't have done it without him! Fantastic running club, full of really lovely people, I could not recommend it more!!

    Alan is a wonderful trainer to work out with. He is professional and organised, and I feel very comfortable to work with him. He knows his job and provides very helpful advice and tips throughout the workout. I started training with him only a few months ago and I can see a huge improvement on my running posture & speed. Also, it’s nice to be part of a friendly community from all over the world!

    I’ve been running for only a few years and the months that I’ve had running training with Alan is where I’ve made three most progress. His knowledge and expertise not to mention his dedication to clients is second to none and I thoroughly enjoy attending all the classes. There’s a great variety of classes and they are all adjusted to your specific needs and requirements. It must also be mentioned that the group is lovely, with wonderful supporters on race days! Can’t recommend highly enough!

    Before joining PB: Running in September of last year, I had tried some other running groups but found them to be a bit unwelcoming/cliquey. Not PB: Running! You’ll find a mix of expats and locals that are all very friendly, share an interest in running, and have different fitness levels, so you’ll never feel out of place. I was impressed by Alan’s commitment to his clients; whether you’re on a personalized training plan with him or just attending the weekly sessions, he keeps records of all your times to track your progress while training with him and gives pointers along the way. After several months of going to Strength & Conditioning and Interval classes, I decided to begin training for my first half-marathon in five years in November. Alan was with me every step of the way, creating a personalized training plan that took into account my level of fitness, interests in training (hot yoga, HIIT, etc.), and my schedule and any trips I had planned. He was always in contact with me regarding how my sessions went (times on interval sessions), how I was feeling on my independent long runs and was quick to adapt my training schedule if needed due to last-minute changes or injuries (or getting COVID in the middle of the Christmas holidays!). Alan’s training plan helped keep me in check and not make any excuses for missing my scheduled sessions. I saw so much progress in my fitness levels while training and was able to complete my half-marathon this past April, smashing my average predicted pace by 14 seconds, all thanks to Alan. I will definitely be looking to work with him again for my next half marathon!

    After having run 7 marathons, and having increased my training during Covid, I wanted to put some more structure into my training and try to reach my goal of a marathon in less than 4 hours. I also wanted to find a running group with some more like minded people. Being a working mum with small kids, far from home, it is quite challenging to attend running group sessions, but Alan could offer the option of doing a ‘digital personalized plan’ where we met up 3 or 4 times in the beginning to discuss my current status, what I could change, some strength exercises and a bit of running analysis. He then created a sheet with the trainings I should do on a weekly basis and we kept in touch throughout. I have managed to overcome many excuses I have made to myself in the past, and I am now more motivated to do longer training runs, intervals and strength training (I do need to work on some of that still). He also introduced me to other runners that I joined for long runs, and that was both enjoyable and great to motivate me to do up to 30km which I had never done before on training. Finally I ran Barcelona marathon after it being postponed due to Covid and I clocked in at 3:58. I can really thank Alan for this! I have now signed up for Barcelona marathon 2022 and I will definitely ask Alan to help me with a plan again.

    I am very happy because I have improved my pace a lot with these training sessions. Interval training is making me faster and now I can run more distance too. It is also a good opportunity to practice my English and meet amazing people! :)

    Alan will ask you first what is your GOAL and where do you find yourself now? You just started running just like I was? This is great! You will learn how to do it in a correct way right from the beginning. Did you already run 5k - 10k - 20k? Amazing! Probably now you will get better and improve your technique! From my standpoint it really means a lot that he took the time to listen and to help me better. From the first moment I knew Alan is a professional and he knows what he is doing! My running pace has increased noticeably and I have seen improvements in my ability to complete more laps, to focus on my breath, my body and very important to learn and enjoy the running and the surroundings. :) - Alan ensured that the technique is always correct in order to avoid any injuries; - He is making me feel comfortable, always explaining the training plan and requirements which helps me to focus, and feel organized; - Alan is always punctual! His calm in his voice is annoyingly relaxing especially after you are out of breath haha There are still many goals I want to reach, but I feel confident that with my work with Alan I will not only meet them but surpass them. I hope I´ll see you too at the next Competition wearing the PB Running shirt!

    Attending Alan’s interval sessions has made me a much more confident runner. After just a couple of months I’m already feeling fitter, running much faster and feeling the benefits in my trail runs too. Committing to the sessions ensures that I make time every week to do some fast running, which I would definitely put off otherwise. Thanks Alan!

    Running can be fun people, but if you need further convincing just join Alan’s running group. Professional, friendly, attentive coach who pushes you and keeps you constantly updated with your progress. I’m really enjoying the interval training classes because I’m noticing the results right away 💨 👍 . I’ve felt supported since day one, and it’s always fun to share with cool, like-minded people. Great club!

    Alan is the best running coach from Glasgow to Edinburgh who happens to be in Barcelona. Under his leadership I was able to greatly improve my athletic performance. PB:Training collective is full of great people and lot of them became my friends. Highly recommend joining the group!
