The best school I could have found in Spain!! I’ve had already studied a little Spanish before coming to a Camino and for that reason I was trying to find a school that offered the students more than just classes and grammar. I was looking for an inteire experience and no doubts that Camino provides that for its students. Besides the amazing and dynamic classes, the school offers many other things that makes your experience complete such as events EVERY SINGLE DAY, and most of them are for free. You can have free guided tours around the city, try regional food and drinks, go on shows and cultural activities. That’s why chose this photo. It just proves that studying another language can be fun when you have a full immerse experience. I also cannot leave this review without praising the teachers and all the team! They are happy and passionate people, always willing to help you and you can see why is the school so good. It’s because all of them do an amazing job!! They make us feel welcomed and part of their history. Again, amazing place if you’re planning on coming to Barcelona.

One of the best Spanish Schools in Barcelona. Classes and lessons are amazing and fully immersive. With daily activities it's easy to meet and interact with fellow classmates, students and teachers. A must activity is the paella party. The best paella in Barcelona. Would highly recommend this school

Hola, my name is Vincent and I am from NY. I just finished my last week at the school. I was here a total of 8 weeks. This was a tremendous experience for me and my Spanish really improved. The classes are very interactive and the teachers are great. I also took part in conversational classes and private lessons which really helped my weak areas, which is listening and talking Spanish. I stayed at the accomodation at the school which was great because you really feel that community vibe. The school has many fun activities in the afternoon (really liked paella night and the wine tasting night). Also they have day trips on Saturdays which are fun. Met some great students there and it was a positive experience. The teachers and staff are extremely nice and helpful for any questions you may have. Totally recommend. Looking forward to coming back

In Barcelona for 2 weeks during the holiday season, taking a super intensive course. The teachers have all been great! Quality teaching, materials, and formats. They really take time to make sure you LEARN. So many options as well to extend learning outside of the classroom like different activities (essentially guided tours in Spanish offered by the school). My 1:1 conversation courses (Marina’s assigned to me as my tutor) have been worth it! Marina has been so patient and offered a good environment for me to learn where we focus on progress instead of perfection. The admin staff have all be really helpful and responsive as well. I’m definitely returning to take more courses here — maybe even online while I wait to be here in person again! Thank you, Camino! ❤️

After spending 4 months at Camino Barcelona, this has got to be the best language school in all of Barcelona. Every staff member is incredible, and very helpful. The courses are taught and explained at a good pace, and if you are stuck the professors are more then happy to help you out. You never feel like you are on the spot, or made to feel like you can't raise your hand, every comment or confusion is welcomed. Wish I could have stayed for longer at the school to continue my Spanish learning, but if I ever have to enrol in a language school in Barcelona, I would 100% come back to Camino Barcelona. Highly recommended!

An Unforgettable Language Learning Journey at Camino Barcelona! I recently had the pleasure of studying at Camino Barcelona Spanish language school, and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment I stepped into their vibrant and welcoming premises, I knew I had made the right choice. The staff at Camino Barcelona were exceptional in every way. They were warm, friendly, and truly dedicated to ensuring that every student had a fulfilling and enriching learning journey. The administrative team was extremely organized and efficient, making the enrollment process seamless and hassle-free. The teachers at Camino Barcelona were without a doubt the highlight of my experience. Their expertise and passion for teaching the Spanish language were evident from the very first class. They created a supportive and inclusive environment that encouraged active participation and collaboration among students. Their teaching methods were engaging, innovative, and tailored to the individual needs of each learner. I genuinely felt that my language skills improved significantly during my time at the school. The curriculum at Camino Barcelona was comprehensive and well-structured. The lessons were designed to cover all aspects of language acquisition, including grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The school also offered a variety of cultural activities and excursions, allowing us to practice our language skills in real-life situations while exploring the beautiful city of Barcelona. The facilities at Camino Barcelona were top-notch. The classrooms were bright, spacious, and equipped with modern teaching resources. The school's location in the heart of Barcelona was also a huge advantage, as it provided easy access to all the city's attractions, cultural sites, and vibrant neighborhoods. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Camino Barcelona Spanish Language School to anyone seeking to learn Spanish in a dynamic and inspiring environment. Whether you're a beginner or looking to advance your language skills, this school will provide you with an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Camino Barcelona, for an incredible journey of learning and cultural immersion!

I have been taking my class a little bit more than 2 months now at Camino and I could feel the progress in my level of Spanish developed quickly and efficiently. All the teachers here are very professional, patient and very understanding in how each and individual of us learn differently. The teachers have different techniques and methodologies in teaching which keeps us motivated. The locations is perfect as well, as it is so close to the center with all the shop you want around in walking distant! School also offers after school activities for free to help us learn and immerse better. Most importantly, the staff at the school and the teachers, especially for my private classes, really takes into account my specific needs. After all, my time here has been so positive. I highly recommend this school!

I’ve been to 2 other language schools based in Barcelona and honestly Camino Barcelona is the best language school I’ve been to! Classes are very well organised and the material is very useful and detailed! the teachers are absolutely amazing as well! I’ve just finished the entire A2 course and now I’m doing B1! I can definitely see the difference in my language skills. Also the school is organising daily activities around and outside of Barcelona, that are really fun and educating. I’ve also found a lot of friends here! I couldn’t recommend this school enough 🥰

Aside from the fun and interactive classes, they also offer different activities where I could practice my Spanish as well with other students. Teachers are very nice and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back as soon as I can! Hasta pronto!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I studied at Camino Barcelona last year for a week, and when I was making a trip back this summer, knew I wanted to book with them again. They have housing options or you can just take the classes. Fun teachers, and it’s great to meet students from all over the world. I recommend attending some of the activities they offer to familiarize yourself with the city and connect with other students. Whether you live in Barcelona full time or are just making a trip- definitely consider them for your Spanish classes !🙂

I could not recommend Camino Barcelona more: it is the best Spanish school I have attended. It has a wonderful, welcoming environment, attentive and lively teachers, and a well-implemented curriculum. Camino Barcelona is the ONLY school I have attended that actually does activities every single day. Not only are the activities a great way to meet fellow students and become part of the Camino family, all of the teachers gave interesting and informative tours that helped me get to know and become more comfortable in Barcelona. Every week, there were two paid activities, but the rest were free or the cost of a Metro ticket. The curriculum at Camino Barcelona was much more streamlined, specific, and well-implemented than the other Spanish schools I have attended. It was a good mix of speaking, listening, and writing practices to accompany new grammar structures or verb tenses. No workbook is required, and expect to have small homework assignments every day (but they aren't mandatory!). One teacher even gave us her email so we could send our writing assignments ahead of time to get extra feedback. Extremely caring and knowledgeable teachers with a great support staff and curriculum. I found that conversation classes at Camino were much more helpful than at other schools as we were given a specific theme each day with a small group discussion and then individual pairings. I would recommend adding conversation classes if you can, as I feel that this curriculum majorly contributed to my learning while I was there. I would also recommend that you take the written in addition to the required speaking exam so they can place you in the most appropriate class. That being said, Camino is the only school that did an speaking test as part of the placement process, which goes to show how attentive they are to their students. A side note on Barcelona- almost everything in the city is in Catalán, so be ready for that. I found it more difficult to navigate than cities such as Sevilla and Madrid because of this, but the school has lots of recommendations and resources to help you get around. I would recommend Camino Barcelona to anyone hoping to learn Spanish and come away from their experience actually being able to communicate in a new language and having experienced Spanish culture!

Great school to freshen up your high-school Spanish. Especially fun are the daily activities, such as tours around Barcelona's diverse neighbourhoods and wine tasting. What better way to learn a language than with a glass of good Spanish wines.

I had a great time at Camino Barcelona. The course is taught entirely in Spanish and, whilst this can be slightly daunting for beginners, it is absolutely the best way to learn! You will find your understanding increases by leaps and bounds after only a couple of lessons. The teachers are incredible, so friendly and so understanding. The location in Barcelona is awesome; nice and central. I did not use their accommodation so cannot comment on that but the course itself I would highly recommend.

At Camino the level of engagement of the teachers is what stands out to me. They are great at including every student in classroom conversations and guiding the room to make sure each student has the opportunity to speak with the teacher. Although speaking with your peers is important, having the opportunity to converse with a native speaker is extremely valuable. Elena and Noellia are two teachers whose classes I have been excited to come back to each day. They bring their personality and sincerity into their classroom that makes you feel comfortable to try, to fail and to express your opinions. Camino has a supportive, friendly learning environment; I highly recommend the semi-intensive courses.

I have been in Barcelona for two weeks only, and a part of Camino as a complete beginner in learning Spanish for one week now. So delighted that I already know how to introduce myself, lead a decent conversation and talk about my plans, preferences, family! :)) The learning approach has been so interactive, we are talking and playing games immersive to the language all the time.. as their moto is 'Practice, practice, practice'. Cannot be more true! Teachers are incredibly fun and kind. Along with mastering the basics, I am simultaneously meeting such intriguing people. We reveal to each other new perspectives to learning and living here in Barcelona. We also do additional conversing classes and participate in free school activities every afternoon, during which we visit landmarks and hidden gems of Barcelona as the teachers interact with us in Spanish. Full immersion, which feels challenging but truly great - what it takes to learn a language in no time! For me being with the school is becoming a lifestyle in itself. It is inbreathing so much self-assurance into my daily life here (as recent as it is), I feel more inspired to go places, to approach people and situations. Muchas gracias, Camino! Looking forward to the upcoming weeks and meeting more beginners to witness each others progress :) P.S. Me encanta fotografia.. so here are a few snaps from our experiences and activities throughout this week :)

The love from the first day is my experience at Camino Barcelona. 4 weeks later and my heart is full of inspiration and amazing memories, my mind is full of Spanish language knowledge, Spanish history, history and geography of energizing and welcoming Barcelona. The level of teaching at Camino is exceptional! The teachers are so pleasant and friendly! The lessons and activities are well thought through and dynamic! Every day free after school excursions are such a treat! To do sightseeing of culturally bottomless Barcelona with your favorite teachers (all of them are) and meet new Camino students every day is the best end to the school day! The school administration is also rated highly by me: every request of mine was respected and resolved to accommodate my desires. I took advantage of staying with the host families contracted with the school, and had an amazing experience of cultural exposure, building friendships and enjoying delicious home meals! Last but not least is the population of students at Camino is so diverse, unique and interesting! I met new friends and learnt about other cultures in such a beautiful way! I loved everything about my experience at Camino Barcelona, and recommend this school to anyone interested to enrich their mind and soul! ❤️

I really enjoyed my stay at Camino! I came without any prior knowledge of Spanish and after only a month I was confident in speaking basic sentences. The teachers were enthusiastic and interested and the lessons challenging and fun. I also liked how helpful everybody working in the school was! With any matter I had, I felt very taken care of. Everybody was courteous and helpful. The atmosphere with the other students was also great - especially if you live on site. Thank you for the great time

It's the best place to learn spanish in Barcelona❤️. Everybody is so nice and helpful (teachers, administration, everybody really) . You get to meet so many people from different places around the world as every week new students arrive. The activities are also always fun, interesting and a great way to learn and improve your spanish.

Camino is a Spanish language school I’ve attended several times in recent years. I keep coming back because it’s both a great school, is good value for money, and has great, friendly teachers. The classes I’ve attended were in the “intensive” and “semi intensive” tracks which are group classes, typically of 8-12 students. There’s a good mix of student types, younger students mainly in the A1, A2 and B1 tracks, and often older or professional students in B2 and higher tracks. Camino has a very well structured curriculum for each level, divided into 4 sub-levels. As a result, students are generally with people of similar ability, so everyone is learning at a similar pace. The teaching materials are varied and generally interesting, and the teachers all lively and animated. It’s a powerful combination and delivers knowledge in a variety of different ways that complement each other: games, quizzes, grammar lessons, audio etc. There are also lots of fun events and trip to attend, and these give you a deeper insight into the cultural context of the language that you get in class. The school itself is bright and modern in most areas, and the admin folks tend to handle most issues very quickly and easily.

Camino is very organized and the teachers have all been excellent, fun, and knowledgeable. I am here for a year and have completed six weeks. My Spanish is improving so fast! The intensive course is hard. Be prepared to learn grammar and verb tenses fast. Tip: You must do the homework or you will struggle. Intensive is serious business. Very much enjoying the process but I need to take daily naps!

I recently spent four weeks doing an intensive course at Camino Barcelona and what a fabulous experience it was! A lot of thought has obviously gone into the structure and delivery of the courses and I benefited enormously. The teachers were kind, skilled and obviously passionate about their subject. The reception staff were a pleasure to deal with and nothing was ever too much trouble. My apartment was very comfortable and well equipped and located only a few minutes from where the classes were taught. The classrooms were bright and well appointed. The cultural activities in the afternoons were a real highlight and allowed me to meet with a lovely mix of students from around the world. The leaders of these street tours were relaxed, friendly and informative and helped me to really appreciate the rich history of Barcelona and its culture. In short I heartily recommend Camino Barcelona. It ticks the boxes in so many ways!

I’m currently taking a one-week Intensive Spanish Course at Camino Barcelona and I’m learning so much! The teachers are qualified, helpful and very personable. I wish I could stay for longer than a week. I will definitely come back as soon as I have an opportunity to do so. The location of the school is also very convenient. It’s in a nice neighbourhood and very accessible by public transit but still within walking distance of some famous landmarks.

Camino Barcelona is a fantastic Spanish school! I had a wonderful experience learning Spanish with them. The teachers are highly skilled and passionate about teaching, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. The school's location in Barcelona is ideal for immersing oneself in Spanish culture, and the classes cover a wide range of topics, making learning fun and dynamic. The school's commitment to individualized attention and small class sizes truly sets them apart. I highly recommend Camino Barcelona to anyone looking to learn or improve their Spanish.

One of the best language schools in whole Barcelona! I did a very extensive research on language schools before coming to Barcelona and Camino was one of the rarest schools that provided such a great support along my journey to get my student visa and everything was super transparent. As for the classes they are very interesting, interactive and entertaining! I would definitely recommend this place !

I arrived December 3 to the school. As an old younge guy I was a bit nervous that I would be the only old dude. Totally incorrect. All ages of students are here, and very supportive, helpful and friendly. I have only sat in 2 days of beginner, A0 level, amd I must say I have enjoyed the teachers methodology that begins with, hola, and builds from there. Day 1 was intensive (3 hours with a 30 minute break, and then 1 hour of conversational. Plus, every day you can join (as long as there is space) for a 2 to 3 hour discovery walk in spanish (mostly), to build on your oral spanish and discover Barcelona at the same time. All and all, best decision I have made to learn and speak spanish. I am here for 1 month. I will be speaking spanish soon. Thanks to Camino Barcelona and there highly dedicated, motivated and friendly helpful teachers and staff. Mucho gracias.

Last September I attended 2 weeks of B2 Spanish classes to pursue my dream to spend more & more future time in beautiful Spain. That´s the 4th time I spend part of my holidays doing this and so far Camino Barcelona Spanish Language School has been my fav school. Why? Because of its flawless organization and for its free daily guided tours that help you explore probably my fav city in the world! And September was def a great moment because of the weather and presence of many other like minded students. Dont miss Las fiestas de La Mercè. So I booked other 2 weeks this December. Every day there´s an activity even during bank holidays: that´s great! The sky is always azul and sun is shining every day...not bad to escape grey and cold Berlin this time of the year! And hey...Barcelona has so many things to offer that I will come back again..I want to visit Catalunya and Spain more and more...hopefully one day I will live here! PS: on your way to the school you might see this type of view..not bad at all!

enough time for each student to practice. Everyone is very nice! The reception staff is extremely attentive and always looking for ways to help. Classrooms are well equipped, air-conditioned, and there is plenty of space for studying in the common areas. The school is located in my favourite area of the city - Eixample. And it conducts excursions every day, due to the fact that I study and work, I haven’t been able to visit yet, I’m waiting for such an opportunity, I’m sure it will be fun and interesting! Thank you, Camino Barcelona!

I've arrived in Barcelona for a week to build on the Spanish that I taught myself so far. It really makes a huge difference, you can take in all the information on your own but coming here has helped so much with the comfort of using it in a classroom, and then bringing out in the street in shops and restaurants or when arriving at accommodation! Would definitely recommend it to anyone for total immersion, plus the activities offered are a good way to get to know the city and make some friends if you plan to stay longer
