It has been a great experience for us. The hotel is super clean, updated and spacious. The service was amazing, they even do laundry!!!! We felt safe inside the hotel and the breakfast was amazing...we are definitely coming back our boys had a blast over here.

This place is fantastic, if you want a out of the way retreat..the rooms were clean with beautiful showers, air conditioned rooms, beds clean and comfortable beds. The pool is clean and well maintained w a cool lighting system that makes nighttime swimming super cool. The staff was friendly and extremely knowledgeable and competent and quick to help. The nearby beach 1 hr drive is the most beautiful beach in the Dominican Republic with turquoise crystal clear water that is bathwater temp warm also go on a weekday and take the short boat ride to the secluded beach that's a protected national park..you will see a handful of people and nearly have the beach to yourself..I left my backpack containing several thousand dollars in equipment and the staff actually had someone from the beach bring it to me late at night by motorcycle..nothing was missing..incredible. It's a trip to get here but it's well worth a trip that you will remember probably for the rest of your life.

Reservation and paying a deposit can only be done with a Dominican bank account. At check-in at 3 pm, there was nobody there, we had to wait and search for 20 minutes to find somebody. Room at 4th floor, no elevator. Room and bathroom look nice. Checking the bed, it was full of hair from a previous visitor. Will be something "Eco". We stayed for 2 nights, no cleaning service, no clean towels, and one was dirty before using it. Breakfast included, where was that to be had? 20 kilometers from the hotel, and it took us an hour by car to get there because of the only dirt road to get there. Staff didn't speak a word of English. There is a small swimming pool, wondering about the amount of chloride in it, terrible.

It's new and the staff is AMAZING! The pool is beautiful, but no shade, the rooms are small, but nicely done, but lacking only in a shelf or dresser with which to put your suitcases. Breakfast is included and delicious. Central to everything in Pedernales. Great value

This place is a just beauty, very very unique and eco friendly. We came all the way from santiago and i can say that The service was just great. We had some minor complaints here and there. But, Just keep in mind that this is a fairly new hotel and they are still improving. Over all it was very nice, it feels like you are in a different world when you walk in there!

Horribly overpriced. No hot water. Rooms aren’t cleaned. Staff is friendly though.

Our stay at hotel Vista de Aguila was exellent. Yeuri is an excellent host. Super attentive, and extremely nice person. He makes you never want to leave. This man is just simply and angel! he will make your stay even more comfortable. The hotel is very clean and well very kept. You won't regret your stay!

To expensive for the area, and then they charge 5% for credit card use. Most people dont travel around with that much cash. If you like hard beds this place is for you. Our party of 4 are in physical pain due to the beds, so uncomfortable. Has AC but no ceiling fan, that is a must for those who CANT sleep with AC. Room not to cleaning standards for price. No hand towels or washcloths. NO POOL. Breakfast is supposed to be made to order, wasn't, and late except our last day and mediocre at best. When the young man made it, it was good and on time. Don't get a room above the kitchen, it makes the room and your clothes smell. Staff very kind. Owner was friendly. There are nice touches here and there. There is no place to eat in town, I feel the hotel should offer dinners for their guest instead of this being a pain in the a$$ for their guest. There is a secure place to park your car. All of the issues wouldn't be an issue if the place was priced correctly.

This place is terrible, my son got very sick from the pool water. His skin broke out and he had a high fever. I ended up in the hospital with him . He had had a skin infection. The rooms are very degradable. They do not clean the rooms, the sheets smelled dirty. No water in the bathroom, when we were in the shower the water ran out. We woke up in the morning around 8:30am and there was almost no breakfast. The only good thing I found good, was that the staff was very friendly .
