It's a Hindu Goddess Temple of Maa Sheetla, The Goddess of Chiken Pox in Chakshu. It's situated at the top of a Hill that is called Shil Ki Dungri. The views from the top is Awesome. Very old and famous temple in Chaksu, A fair event helds here every year just after Holi called Basoda. People usually have one day old food to keep happy Sheetla mata, mata is worshipped to keep things calm in life.

Best place to live a good life. Evenings at rivers and Shiv doongri temple also the markets are very good.. easily available all things here.

Great drive...small town...there's a water body nearby and a beautiful temple atop a hill...narrow lanes as its an old town...not much traffic though...worth a visit as there's a lot of greenery as you approach the town from Jaipur
