One of our favourite eatery whilst in this area, still has the old charm and looks intact and that’s what makes it stand out from modern looking ones. Food is almost the same , mind you am visiting after almost 8-9 years. Taste seem to have gone down very slightly but still good enough. Apart from regular specials our favourite is fruit funny. Digital mode is accepted for payment and place is respectively clean enough. Parking will continue to be a challenge l.

One of the most hyped Cafe in Pune. This place is usually crowded. They serve both veg and non veg. Food quality is good. Hospitality of the staff is also great. Bun Maska and tea is said to be the most celebrated dish and speciality here. I found this dish quite regular though. Overall, a causal place to have quick bites and full meals as well.

This place is only good for chai and bun maska, it is better to opt any other cafe as this is really expensive in terms of quality and taste. We tried multiple snacks and felt complete wastage of money , there was no taste in masala dosa, mysore masala dosa, sandwich, cold coffee was not even cold. And our bun maska had hairs in it. The cafe should work on maintaining the place and service.

During our city exploration in Pune we were hungry at the lunch time so we came across this place and had lunch. This is typical Irani old style restaurant serving both veg and no veg food. The Nutella bun Maska, samosa and coffee are must try. All other veg food also worth tasting. Nice and tasty meal we had. This isn’t very sophisticated in appearance but worth visiting place.

Cafe Gudluck is a famous cafe on F. C. Road. It is known for its bun maska and tea. We tried both of them and they were okay. It is a crowded place and waiting time is 5-10 minutes. We also tried small samosa and that was average. Overall it's a good place but might be slightly overrated.

Old world charm, dont come here to check how healthy the food is, if you are health conscious, neither come here if you need comfort and upscale place. But come here to soak the old world charm. Food is nothing special, infact oily and too buttery and bland for me, but I dont complain, i would happily sit in their old chairs and see the evening pass by, while the walls speak of their bygone romantic days...

Pune’s iconic oldest restaurant. Signature dishes are kheema pav and Chai bun maska. We go there for sipping Irani tea but ends up with having sumptuous biryani. Father tells me in 1960s , there was gramophone and used to enjoy music at that time.

The signature dish Bun Maska here is just amazing you can’t lie down the taste, the Bun Maska, Jam Bread and Veg Samosa is amazing here. But the egg burji and Irani chai just disappointed the whole scenario of taste. The egg burji was not properly cooked even the burji was not that masala type. The chai was not proper Irani types. No Irani masala or no sugar just simple chai without any taste. The management also too poor, a men holding the waiting list is full on attitude he doesn’t look for the customers. The waiters are too rough and lazy to be.

This is one of the oldest Irani cafes in Pune since 1935. Bun-muska is their signature item along with Chai. We love their Cheese Ommlette. They also serve all of the snack items and bakery items like Bun, Brun, Pudding, Custard and Kheema-Pav is what people prefer eating here. They also have normal food items for lunch/dinner. Recommended for Breakfast...

Awesome food for only those who are non vegetarian as I tried both veg and non veg (egg) but the egg stuff was great like egg patis, egg plain omlet, egg sandwich. By the way this place is mostly famous for bun maska which was also good. It was very much crowded when I visited (15-jan-2022). You can see the menu card and the list of items I ordered.

A popular cafe in Pune - must try and worth all the money! :) We had tawa chicken with rumali roti.. all my body cell could feel the spice but I couldn’t stop - it was delicious!!! Just ask them to make it medium spicy in advance ;) I didn’t get to try bun maska and tea but please do! Funny story - when I asked the waiter to tell me the specials as it was my first visit, he told me “why hadn’t you come before?”

One Liner : Over hype, over priced, avg food cafe. People go here with lot of expectations, and I went too as its one of the oldest cafe in Pune. But to my surprise, I found it just average cafe with normal food which you can get better at roadside eateries. We had Tea, coffee, Bun maska, chicken Kheema, mutton brain fry, tandoori chicken, dal, rumali roti and tandoori roti. But not a single dish including their Bun maska which is most hyped here could satisfy my taste buds. The chicken kheema was bit stale in taste and tandoori chicken tasted average. Rumali and bheja mutton fry was such a waste of money and taste. I have been many restaurants in Pune as well but they are even not hyped but still have good food quality than this cafe. The waiter has no time to hear you. The most of the reviews here are either in flow of motion to be at this cafe or they liked the way it is. But for us, after have been to many historical cafes I found it the most hyped with not worth food.

If at FC road, Cafe Goodluck is must must visit. Extremely affordable and yum food. All non vegetarian dishes and veg are upto the mark. I love this place for its simplicity at its best.

Because it was so popular, I wanted to try it. The flavour is pleasant. The atmosphere is rustic. Most of the time, it is crowded. We tasted the irani chai and bun maska, which were the most popular item on the menu. We also had a veg sandwich, a gobi samosa and a lime drink. Overall, you should visit this location at least once. My report card: Taste: 4/5, Service: 4/5, Ambiance: 3/5, Cleanliness: 3/5, Value for money: 4/5

This is a good cafe one of the oldest and loved by everyone..but I have different opinions is that the maska bun is overpriced it cost you RS 45/- and Nutella chocolate maska bun cost you RS 80 ..but the main attraction is its tea which cost you RS 25 which is quite affordable for a cafe ..this 3 things are must try ambience is quite 90s cafe vibe ...from last several months they are not accepting online payment which is a big issue I was stuck there because in today's era no one carry cash .....avoid weekend due to so much rush you cannot even get a seat... enjoy your tea with FC ROADS shopping..

The very famous in pune city…. One of the oldest in pune . Categorised as the special wonder place of pune. People from for away place com over here for their special chai and bun maska on very early Sundays and to chill out around in the evening. The place is on the main road of FC. The chowk is also called as GOOD LUCK chowk… as the place have been there since forever. Honestly, This place is always crowded and this it is better for you guys to be prepared for waiting queue and lines. The staff is helpful and polite . They will assist you till your table and also the service is very much quick for snack items. This is not just a cafe … but also a restaurant where you can surely opt out to dine in with their special and different menu for main course items. They have special RUMALI ROTI in the making , which us quite famous over here . The place can be accessible for physically challenged people as well. I had ordered their ALOO SAMOSA , but unfortunately their samosa are not something to die upon. But you can surely try out their punjabi samosa. They are hell crispy and crunchy. Their butter and jam stuffed maska is very popular and thus very much crowded in the evening snacks time. Ambience is fine fine … nothing unique about it … their grilled sandwiches are really tasty . Ambience - 2/5 Taste - 3/5 Price for 2 - approx 200

Mine review might looks lengthy but I literally feel short of words to describe this place. One of the most finest cafe serving a delicious and mouthwatering food I have visited in Pune so far. It is always a very crowded place. You visit at anytime of the day, you’ll have to wait for atleast 5-10 minutes to get a sit. They serve a variety of food options. Their Bun Muska, Irani Chaai, Chicken Keema pav, Veg Puff and Samosa are a must try items. Please don’t miss there Bun Maska ! I repeat please don’t !

Well, no one needs reviews or an introduction to this place. An amazing variety of desserts they serve, and an introduction to Irani food. I tried vegetarian food only. Not recommended for vegetarians. The taste of food here is ok-ok. This cafe is a bit expensive.

Must visit spot that gives a vintage nostalgic vibe. This place is always filled and bustling with people no matter what day or time. The service is good and really quick. The prices are affordable and there are many items one can try out not limited to just bun maska or bun jam. Tried the coffee and bun maska jam it was so good. The jam seemed to be made there itself so it wasn't super sweet like the processed ones it was perfect.

I'm delighted to share my experience at this much-talked-about cafe. Visiting with a friend, we were excited to try the food, and we weren't disappointed. The menu offered tasty options at very affordable prices, making it a great value for the quality. While there was a short wait of 5-10 minutes, it was well worth it. We ordered a wrap and a masala dosa, along with cold and hot coffee, and every dish was delicious. The flavors were on point, and it's evident that they take pride in their culinary offerings. If you're in Pune, I strongly recommend a visit to this cafe. It's a hidden gem for those seeking delectable food that won't break the bank. A must-visit spot for food enthusiasts in the area!

Admist the "hustling" city of Pune. This is right on the corner, and the food is amazing! Right from bun maska to kheema pav. I am sure anything you order and no matter how busy the restaurant is, they won't compromise on the taste.

All time classic bun muska was yummy as usual. I also had China Rice Fry. It is made of finely chopped mutton, peas and spring onion stir fried in rice. The dish was delicious and not at all heavy. Worthy try.

When in Pune, do as Punekars do! :) A must visit place is this age old Good luck cafe at FC road in Pune, especially famous for their Bun maska and chai. You can also try various other snacks items and the oh so delicious non-veg dishes! The place is centrally located and is known to almost everyone living in Pune. You can also explore the nearby FC road market and then have a break for their bun maska chai to replenish your energy multiple times! 😅

A very famous Irani cafe near FC road - notoriously famous for over-crowding and wait times. Visited this place during Nov 21 - and although didn’t order the famous snacks and Irani menu, did try the main course menu (this place has two different seating spots - one upfront for cafe/ snacks and second at the back for meals/ main course) The staff was good, ambience average and delivery time super fast :) ordered Chicken Bhuna and paneer tawa masala - however both were pretty average - nothing standing out. Their roti are extra large though - so order one at start and then repeat Overall can give miss to main course but (assuming the reputation) try the snacks/ cafe

No one says "No" to a good cup of tea and a butter loaded bun at Irani cafe. The chef didn't had a single thought before putting the load of butter in that bun🥰😋. Great place for having breakfast with a Lil chit chat with your friends and loved ones. Quality and hygiene was upto the mark. Also very pocket friendly. Must visit and never tiring place!

It is one of the oldest cafe of Pune located in F C Road. It's running since 1935. It serves one of the most popular bun maska, chai, egg bhurji etc. One of the most famous irani cafe in town. It is also known for its kebabs, naan, chicken, mutton, paneer or rumali rotis. However the food is above average and the staff are very friendly. The ambience, the environment the entire restaurant is more for the sake of old times than the food.

A modest cafe on Fergusson College road, this eatery serves a variety of quick bites, fast food along with regular Indian food in veg and non veg options. The place is very old and has a no frills seating area. The chicken sandwiches are great and bun maska with tea also makes a mark. The menu is reasonably priced and the food is average in terms of quality. The service is fast and good. The place is usually crowded through the day. Parking is not easily available here and therefore not a friendly place for cars.

On May 22, 2023 I went to Cafe Goodluck along with two of my college friends. They have a vast variety of items. We decided to order samosas, caramel pudding, custard pudding and the famous bun maska and chai. The waiting time was very low. The food was good, I personally loved the custard pudding. Samosas didn't have potatoes, the filling consisted of cabbages and other veggies. It was tasty though. Tea was good too. We didn't like the caramel pudding, it was weird. That doesn't mean that you won't love it, everyone has different tastes and preferences. The prices are moderate. The staff is good too. The Atmosphere is decent. It was a bit hot there. Overall the experience was good. A solid 4/5. I highly suggest you to visit it and explore and try different items from the menu. Ps: Forgot to take a pic of custard pudding 😅

Heard a lot about this place and thought of trying. But you have to be patient as waiting is quite high Food : Famous for bunmaska and tea. It really taste good. I was quite satisfied with the option Service : was slow. Just to have bunmaska ans tea it took 15-20 mins. Waiting: Was quite high. Minimum waiting time is 20 mins. Ambience : It's like a old hotel which we see in bollywood movies.

To start with the interior, it is quite old and gives vintage vibes. Cleanliness is not that well maintained. Service is quick but not so prompt. Ambience is not that great. As for the taste of food, it is okayish and not upto the hype. It's basic. Smoking zone is not separated which creates a nuisance to non-smokers. Prices are reasonable. Overall had an okayish experience!

The Name "Cafe Good luck" Justified the legacy of the very iconic Bun Maska and Chai in the Pune City. One should try Bun Maska chai, Famous Mutton Kheema and Bread, Grilled Cheese omelette etc. The only thing which keep this place apart from other place is the "Freshness of Breads and Buns"

The famous cafe good luck is known for its chai and bun Maska. I tried samosas, bun maska, cheese omelette , chicken sandwich, chicken omelette and finally ended with tea. The chicken omelette is bit disappointing cause I expected the chunks of chicken pieces will be added to the omlette but it was infact a chicken paste or juice mixed with the omlette. Only could sense the flavour. Would give 5 stars if there’s chicken pieces ☺️. And the cheese omlette is too good. Samosa tasted good. This place is busy all the time. Can expect your order in 15 to 30 mins depending on the crowd. Overall good place to hangout with friends. Heard that they offers biryani and chicken appetisers as well. Should try it in my next visit. Till then 🤟🏻👋🏻 Note: there’s no parking space for this cafe. So plan it according.

One of the oldest cafes in town. Recommended for breakfast and light snacks. If you visited Goodluck cafe someday try Tea and bun-maska. Everything is great about the cafe but it has very limited space and during this pandemic there's always risk of getting infected. So take necessary precautions before entering into this cafe!

Ordered mutton keema and bun maska with normal chai. Mutton keema didn't seem like it was non veg at all. It had tasts that of pav bhaji but much better! It was around 11 that I entered. By the time it was 12 the waiting line was starting to take form.

Best and authentic irani cafe.. Well i went "Cafe Goodluck" for a bun maska at dinner time but ended up with Chicken Shahjahan , Paneer, rumali roti and jeera rice. Good place for dine in. The quality and quantity of food is good and upto the mark. Provided proper sanitizer in each and every dine in table. Proper Clean cutlery. Fresh food. Note- 1 Rumali roti is sufficient to normal people(1 roti for 1 person). Size of rumali is big & quite good according to the price. RATING- QUALITY- ⭐⭐⭐⭐ QUANTITY / PORTION SIZE-⭐⭐⭐⭐ (3-4) TASTE- ⭐⭐⭐⭐ FRESH FOOD- ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HYGIENIC- ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good luck cafe on fc road has the best bun Maska and chai in pune. It's quite famous for that. The buns are super soft with ample amount of butter in them.

Great place !! We had our brunch at this place and we ordered aanda bhurji which had 4 bread slice with it and the bread was extremely soft and fresh and the bhurji was also very tasty. Perfectly cooked. And with this we had a veg pattice which was ok not that good. The filling was very less and not even that tasty. And ofcourse we had to try the bunmaska and chai the bun was very soft and fresh with lot of butter. Even the chai and coffee was good very strong. Great place to visit. This place is alredy very famous worth the hype i feel. And would like to visit again and again to try out different dishes

It has maintained its legacy of one of the oldest parsi cafe in Pune! Bun maska and Irani chai is a must try. Apart from that, other snack items are also available like keema bun, omelette bun. They are delectable.

This place is one of the OG cafes of Pune, operational since 1935. If you have been living in Pune for quite some time, chances are you already know of it. Located at the prime location of FC road, it's bustling almost everytime during the day. Speaking of the most important part, taste is pretty good. Few places can compare to the tea and bun maska here is unparalleled!! I tried caramel pudding as well and even that was good (honestly, I wasn't expecting much from it, but was pleasantly surprised!). Besides, the staff is also polite which is definitely a bonus, since, in my experience with a couple other places previously, I have found staff from the places this old to be quite rude. Only downside I found was that it's not that clean as compared to the newer places. Not saying they are not hygienic, they definitely are, just not as sparkling clean if you compare to other cafes! My recommendation, definitely pay a visit atleast once! Even better if it's during the evening since the area bustles with college students during evenings and makes it come to life!!

This is one of the oldest eateries of Pune of Irani origin at the Deccan Gymkhanan area. This is located in a busy area and that itself is named after this place called the Goodluck chowk. I was guided to this famous cafe by one of my colleagues in Pune who has meticulously told me the history and the traditions this cafe has been maintaining throughout the years. The cafe serves a number of non veg items and among which it is said that bun maska and tea are the greatest of all. I have tasted roti with mutton keema, fresh lime soda, tea and the famous dessert fruit-funny. I personally didn't like the tea much but the rest of the items were quite delicious. I was told that these non veg items are not at all heavy on our stomach since traditionally they make it on a slow cooking process ( Dheemi Aanch) and that starts from the early morning and takes considerable time that's why they are tasty and healthy. The food-funny is again a very uncommon item which was extremely tasty with castard and pudding like taste in fusion with bread. The seating area should be improved looking at the kind of crowd they are maintaining. Mostly this cafe is crowded owing to their taste and services. The washroom facility should be improved by a lot. Cost wise the food items are not very heavy on the pocket and the behaviour of the staff members are very professional, prompt and cordial. It is a must try and must visit place if one is in Pune.

Finally a place to satiate the craving for good food and Irani chai. Tried a couple of places in Pune but none were good but this place is a must try. Bun Maska was good. Soft bun and fresh butter was a treat. Tried chicken keema that was also good.

As always Tea and Bun Maska is my all time favorite dish. Wherever I get this I travel to enjoy the same. So we have orders cheese bun maska pav and tea. The taste was awesome. I loved it. Tea's quantity is quite good. But there is huge rush in the evening time. You have to wait for an hour depends on the situation. But I loved it. Must visit place.

This iconic cafe is located in one of the most prime locations of Pune. Been there for over 8 decades. The place is always crowded, such is its popularity. One gets a feel of the typical Irani Cafe. Kheema pav, Bun Maska, Bournvita, Omelettes, Chai, Sandwiches are some of the favourites here. The prices are reasonable. The quality of food served is good. Service is quick. The staff could be a little more polite. The only pain area here is the parking. Almost impossible to find a convenient parking spot. They accept UPI payment methods also. A must visit eatery joint.

The Evergreen Café of Pune, I have seen people come and go, but this café has been constant from years to years. The taste and quality have always been the same as I tried Bun Maska jam years back, and now it's still the same. The same quality, the same overload of Maska and Jam, and it melts in the amount. It’s totally amazing. It’s the perfect hangout spot for people because of its location.

At the centre point of Gymkhana of Pune, this is a restaurant where you walk in the heritage of Pune. Their Keema Pao, bun maska and tea are fantastic, unmatched classic. Must visit for savoring dishes of Pune classical eating. Top rated place in India. Pocket friendly.
