Pandemic
review
-
I
went
to
Six
Flags
yesterday
morning,
we
had
a
reservation
for
10:00am
so
my
boyfriend
and
I
were
able
to
enjoy
the
park
before
it
got
too
crowded
but
there
are
some
issues
with
the
parks
being
open
(mainly
with
the
availability
of
services
and
the
rising
prices)

If
you
schedule
200
people
to
show
up
through
the
gates
at
one
time,
social
distancing
is
not
really
possible.
There
are
stickers
all
over
the
ground
but
none
of
the
park
customers
are
smart
enough
to
follow
the
6
foot
distancing
rules.
Every
ride
has
a
gallon
sized
pump
bottle
of
alcohol
based
hand
sanitizer,
it’s
up
to
each
rider’s
individual
judgement
to
use
it.
Six
Flags
actually
invested
in
a
temperature
gun,
so
that
was
one
smart
decision
they
made.
It’s
hard
to
walk
around
and
breathe
in
a
mask
but
I
made
it
through
without
complaining
too
much.

Food
services
are
greatly
diminished
to
laughable
levels.
Out
of
all
the
wonderful
things
advertised
on
the
menu,
the
Metro
Grill
by
Wonder
Woman
only
served
two
options
-
chicken
tenders
and
veggie
burgers.
The
“Casa
De
Quesadilla”
doesn’t
serve
Burritos
(go
figure)
so
you’ll
have
to
walk
all
the
way
across
the
park
to
Macho
Nacho
to
get
a
burrito
instead.
All
the
snacks
covered
by
the
meal
plans
are
pre-packaged
desserts
-
the
tiny
pretzel
braid
and
cheese
that
used
to
count
as
a
snack
last
year
is
no
longer,
now
it
costs
$5.99
or
$3
with
the
membership
discount.
No
non-alcoholic
ICEE
were
available,
only
the
expensive
alcoholic
ones
and
you
don’t
know
what
food
options
are
even
available
at
the
park
until
you’re
already
deep
inside
(the
workers
often
don’t
even
know.)
Even
then,
you
might
have
to
walk
30
minutes
to
find
a
place
that
serves
hamburgers
or
spend
the
rest
of
the
day
walking
to
find
a
normal
ICEE
because
the
park
workers
gave
you
incorrect
information.

The
workers
are
all
uninformed
about
park
changes
and
rude
as
hell,
from
the
parking
booth
workers
to
the
food
staff
at
Metro
Grill
to
the
morbidly
obese
woman
running
Wonder
Woman.
It
must
be
hard
to
find
decent
workers
in
South
Jersey
so
they
get
stuck
with
people
that
yell
inappropriate
comments
at
the
park
visitors
and
joyfully
look
for
reasons
to
turn
away
riders
from
the
amusements.
Any
other
line
of
work
it
would
be
called
harrassment
to
act
like
construction
workers
and
bully
the
paying
customers.
It’s
an
unfortunate
side
effect
of
American
capitalism
that
the
workers
are
often
so
underpaid
and
desperate
that
they
take
their
anger
and
sadness
out
on
the
paying
customers
that
come
to
the
park.
The
visitors
themselves
are
not
much
better,
it’s
not
above
them
to
get
out
of
their
cars
in
line
to
bully
the
toll
workers,
and
even
throw
rocks
at
other
people
inside
the
park.
As
a
result,
you
can’t
ask
any
questions
nicely
or
the
park
workers
will
snap.
They
will
always
take
their
problems
out
on
the
nice
customers
and
never
the
rude
ones
that
are
actually
harassing
them.

Fast
passes
increased
in
price
an
INSANE
amount
over
the
course
of
a
year
(taking
advantage
of
a
worldwide
tragedy
for
profit,
very
classy)
from
$40
last
year
to
$180
(discounted
from
$250!!!)
for
two
fast
pass
watches
with
Diamond
Elite
memberships.
It’s
also
impossible
to
know
which
rides
are
running
that
day
until
it’s
too
late
and
you
are
already
inside
the
park.
The
entire
first
half
of
the
day
the
watch
said
the
Wonder
Woman
ride
was
delayed
when
it
was
running
smoothly
and
had
almost
no
wait,
thankfully.
I
might
come
back
to
this
park,
I
might
stop
my
membership.
At
least
now
I
know
what
to
expect,
as
opposed
to
the
first
time
you
visit
the
park
and
experience
a
bait
and
switch
when
everything
is
radically
different
and
the
park
workers
are
too
rude
to
be
helpful.
