The restaurant is located next to the Tisza, in a beautiful park setting. The staff is helpful. The taste of the fish dishes is outstanding, perhaps the best in the region. I can only recommend.

I had a very nice dining experience at this fish restaurant in Tiszacsege! The cozy ambiance and friendly staff immediately put me at ease. The highlight was the fresh and succulent fish dishes that were expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The extensive menu catered to all tastes, and the presentation was impeccable. A hidden gem for seafood lovers!

The only positive thing about this place is the fact that it was open. French fries looked & tasted like they would be 5 hours old, so called "Fish mix" is just a horribly dry fillet. It has nothing to do with fish to be honest. During this trip around Europe I visited over 30 restaurants and this was the worst one. Zero music inside, you could even hear the sounds of other people 5m away munching their food 🥴 I'd recommend searching for another place next time. This is first time in my life I am giving 1* to anybody.

I travel there around 1000 km every year for the sour fish soup and it’s always worth the trip. You can’t go wrong with “Korhely Harcsa Halászlé”. Desserts are also nice, rolls with vanilla cream and crepes with chocolate, prices - good.

Simply the Best freshwater fish food! Not only the most traditional soup (halászlé) is excellent here, but they have some local specialities, smoked and stuffed filets but a real rarity the Sterlet (Kecsege) which is ultra delicious.

Quaint, cute, with good waiters and a reasonably wide selection of fish and prices weren't outrageous. But the fish itself was not good-horribly over-fried until dry and tough, with everything unsatisfying crispy and overdone and also took an hour to arrive in a fairly empty restaurant. The fish 'greaves' (tepertő) were amazing, though-worth the trip for those, at least, and if you've just got a hankering for fish feel free to give them a shot, but I wouldn't go out if my way to get here, for sure.
