Best beach to swim and do other activities here. There are facilities to take shower and change and that makes it a ideal beach to take a dip. Cleanliness however has taken a dip and that is why 4 stars. Need to get it back to the cleanest beach tag.

Very clean beach. Wonderful place for photoshoots. Its not advisable to visit here after sunset as it gets isolated. Very few lifeguards found in this beach. It has a shopping complex and street food available in this area. Its near to bheemli beach and the stretch extends to a long distance. Good for running, jogging and photoshoots.

Nice beach with clean water, better than RK beach and it is much cleaner. Here different options for sports - jet ski Rs 400, speed boat Rs 250 per person are available. Also people can enjoy taking pictures on horse for Rs 50 or camel for Rs 150. Beach is also wider so that the waves can be enjoyed. Kids also enjoyed making sand castles. Lots of fun with waves. People can enjoy different food options sweet corn, maggi etc for nominal prices. By afternoon the beach was very crowded, its better to go in morning to enjoy more. I would say beach is better than Goa's calangute or baga beach in terms of enjoyng with waves.

We went at 7 in the morning. It was nice. But the beach isn't maintained at all. Trash is everywhere in the beach. Why aren't the authorities taking control of the plastic waste? There weren't awareness boards or signs atleast.

This beach is a little far from Vizag. It is a rocky beach and generally the water is a little uncalm. It was mostly clean. There is boating service available and quite a few shops for eatables. The sand on the beach is whitish and the water is somewhat clean. It was a little got during the day and it got very pleasant during the evening. Quite a few resorts on the northern end of the beach.

May be the best beach in Vizag. Secluded, away from crowd, full of natural beauty. You can take bath in the sea. Changing room & water sports were closed in off seasons.

Loved the place, excellent beach for spending time with the family, and playing in the sea. Good to see active life guards and also ropes tied to mark the safe zones. Changing rooms are available but can be improved.

Rushikonda beach is a bit away from the city. It was partly crowded, especially the entrance. But other wise it was empty. If you like to keep away from the crowd, just walk away. Very calm and cool waves wash your feet. Very pleasant and peaceful. Saw a couple of camels, all embellished. Maybe you can ride them. I was only interested in walking in the waves and watching the ocean. Saw some high-speed boats too.

The beach is good for one time visit as it is far from the main road. You can book hotels nearby but you have to walk 10 mins to get to the beach. This beach has clean water and clean surroundings. It has a lot of food stalls for your hunger. There are some water sports available here and a game zone for children. Overall, it's good for a one-time visit.

It's the most scenic beach of visakhapatnam surrounded by small hills, soveinier shops, maggie shops and a beautiful resort. You can also enjoy enjoy ATV bike ride here at very reasonable prices. Sitting on the bank of the ocean in mornings and evenings gives you immense peace and calm. It's a great place to spend some quality time.

One of the best, cleanest beaches in Vizag. Clear water. water sports like scuba diving (₹3500), snorkeling (₹1500), jet ski, sea kayaking etc (₹200-300) are also available. Many small food stalls are also available on the beach. You can go early in the morning to witness a beautiful sunrise. Waves are not so strong. You can swim in it, but swim in the assigned area only, too many rocks around.

Rushikonda is the Best beach to visit in Vishakhapatnam. It has some very good scenic views like the sea on one side, the other side is a hill and then the other side looks lush green. Currents at sea beach are deep and high so don't go deeper and be aware of RIP currents (Currents who creates suction between two currents which can cause a person to sink in the sea). Cleanliness by the govt needs to be improved a lot (jagan mohan Reddy Govt). Early morning visitors can also enjoy sunrise 🌄....

Recently I have visited this beach. It is one of the clean beaches I have seen. Safe for the solo traveller. Must go to the beach if you are staying near vizag convention centre. They have small eateries nearby where you can get basic things like soft drinks, coffee and Maggie but it is a bit crowded.

I visited this beach at 5AM to catch the sunrise, but unfortunately, it was hidden behind the clouds. The beach was clean, however, we were disappointed to find that the waves were filled with sand even at hip level, which made swimming a bit uncomfortable. We preferred Yarada beach, where waves were much clearer.

One of the must visit beaches of Vizag. Beautiful scenes. Few places are are a bit dirty though and require cleaning.

I like this beach very much. The crowd is less than RK Beach but it has a good nature. The tides are less compared to RK Beach. You can go some distance in it. You can ride boating also. Photographers are also available but they will collect Rs 20/- per a soft copy photo. They will share photos on mobile with OTG cable.

This is one of the famous and beautiful beach in visakhapatnam. This beach has wide range of tourists attraction. The atmosphere at beach is super cool and greenery compare to other beaches at vizag. This beach is suitable for surfing 🌊, boat rides, bungy jumping, scuba diving...etc. It is perfect place for bath in sea water. Even there is facility of providing rest rooms. There is a park for children's. There were many shops near to beach and at beach. They are providing boat rides at reasonable prices. There were many restaurants near beach. The famous point at beach was maggi point. The Maggi prices was very reasonable. They are varities of maggi. Finally the beach is enjoyable and memorable.

Definitely one of the best beaches in vizag! Swimmable, clean water, safe, changing rooms are also available and is surrounded by good food, it promises a good time for sure. Mornings are the best for sure, lesser crowds, more peace!

It's a nice calm out of crowd beach so many water sports facilities are available there by Andhra parades state tourism department.
