This is a really good Greek Restaurant And Bakery Shop. The Bakery basically has Almost every Greek Pastry you can think of. The Coffee is always good as well.. The Restaurant side has Awesome Greek food, the Greek Salads are the best in Tarpon Springs in my opinion and so is all the Greek food that they serve. The pastry side always has great Service, the Restaurant side the service is Good and Not so Good. Hit or miss. however the food is really good. There was a older Man that was a Host there for many years that was Very Rude to us and other Customers every time we went there in the Restaurant side, however I Haven’t seen him working there the past few times we were there. That being said! Better then the Other Greek Restaurants in Tarpon. Overall good place to visit.

This place is exceptional! Heather was a phenomenal server and provided excellent service and tons of recommendations to us since we were visiting from Maryland. I could not recommend the spanakopita combo more. It was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the freshly baked bread and also ordered a veggie pita. The desserts were scrumptious and very reasonably priced. I would love to come back to visit this place! Be sure to check it out! Update… I went back 48 hours later. James was our server and was also phenomenal. We tried four new items from the menu and they were equally as good. Heather stopped by to see how our trip to St. Pete was too! I will absolutely go back to this place! Amazing!

If someone was visiting Tarpon Springs for the first time, I would tell them they HAVE to visit Hellas. Not only is it a restaurant, but they also have a bakery with tons of authentic Greek desserts and pastries! My family is from Greece, (and of course,) nothing compares to my grandmas cooking BUT they do come really really close! This is some of the best Greek food I’ve had that hasn’t been made by grandma! I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant as well. Even though they stay busy, they still give friendly & fast service- so don’t let the crowds put you off! When finished with dessert you can order dessert straight from the bakery to your table, OR you can head on over and check out the cases to see what you’d like to take home with you! Everything we tried was a hit. Don’t think twice, you don’t want to miss out on some amazing Greek cuisine!

The gyros are always fantastic and well prepared. My son had the lamb kebobs and he said they were amazing. They also have a bakery of yummy treats. Our waiter was extremely nice. Can't forget the flaming cheese!

We enjoyed our dinner and then went next door to the Bakery. All of the Greek desserts were very fresh and delicious. We brought several different varieties of Greek desserts back home to The Villages Florida. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the Greek food was fresh and delicious. Food was delicious! I had the parmigiana. I ordered it to test it against family recipe. I was with others who frequent this restaurant and who raved about the parmigiana. It was well prepared and tasted perfect, was tender, cheeses were just right and the sauce was great. I did taste the Penne with champagne sauce(not certain of name) and that was dedicate and flavourful. Really enjoyed that also. It's a keeper restaurant!

The atmosphere is phenomenal! Cullen and Mia are the best bartenders as well as conversational individuals. Cullen makes the best Italian margarita I've ever had!!! Happy Hour is awesome! It's a must you check this out!!!😁😁😁

I was tired of the same menu items of restaurants like Carrabas and Olive Garden when I looked for somewhere else and I’m sure glad I found this place. The manager, chef and staff are absolutely amazing. I have eaten a different item each of my six visits over the last few months and it all was cooked perfectly. The menu is creative, delicious and supposedly secretive. Please become a regular customer as have for you will not be disappointed.

Took over a half hour for them to tell us they ran out of what we ordered.

Could not get through their phone system. Repeatedly called for over 10mins. My phone would connect then it would cancel my call. Or an automated voice would say "line is busy" and hang up. I kept trying. I really wanted to try this place.

We called and set reservations for 4 being Saturday evening dinner, We were promptly sat upon arrival. The staff was very friendly and the food was awesome! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for non chain Italian Bistro!

Incredibly good Greek food. We've been going there for many years and never been disappointed with either the food or the service. I've been all over the country and never had better Greek food than this. It's truly in a class by itself. The Moussaka is my favorite and highly recommended. Also, it's in the picturesque and charming town of Tarpon Springs. Fun place to visit, and a great day trip. Lots of cool, interesting shops.

Phenomenal restaurant with great food and service. Came in for lunch h and then came back for dinner with family since we were still in town. Gyro meat was flavorful and tender and the pitas are amazing. The feta cheese was super fresh too. A must see in tarpon springs.

Pretty good! We got the chocolate striped baklava and the regular one. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD. So juicy and delicious!! It was literally dripping with like honey and I really liked it. The cashier/customer service was so-so but that didn't take away from the food. They always say eat with your eyes and I most definitely did. All the food in the display cases looked so scrumdilliumptios lol

Excellent spot at Tarpon Springs. We were recommended by a friends and we’re very satisfied with the food and the service. Our waiter was a gem. She was very sweet and willing to answer our questions. We ordered combination platters and a baklava cheesecake. We would definitely recommend this place and visit again when we’re in the area.

I went here during a bachelorette trip. I love this little town. The restaurant and the bakery were so good. They have the lemon soup which I love. I also got the salmon that came with potato, rice and peas. All of them were really good. We got the famous cheese they light on fire and say opa! It was delicious! The waitress was super helpful and nice and gave us a little back story about the town and restaurants. The desserts are SO GOOD. I also love the decor of both places. I would highly recommend coming here for the food and atmosphere. There wasn't much of a wait even though it looked like there was going to be, same with the bakery.

Hellas is definitely the best Greek restaurant in Tarpoon Springs. You can’t go wrong with Greek cuisine. I had the broiled octopus, which was delicious and I came the next day to try the pita gyro which didn’t disappoint either. If I am ever in the area, I will return.

Delicious Greek food! My boyfriend and I were craving Mediterranean food and this place sure hit the spot! We went on a Friday night around 7pm and were quickly seated to our table. Our server came to us right away and took our drink order. Then my boyfriend and I got the assorted spreads appetizer. This came with fresh warm pita, and homemade hummus, Tzatziki sauce and our personal favorite, a red pepper feta dip! That appetizer filled us up so much that we just ended up sharing a 2lb red snapper! The snapper was beautifully cooked and fresh! We also wanted to save room for desert because their bakery items looked so inviting! I ordered the baklava which was so sweet and crispy. My boyfriend ordered the original tiramisu and he said that he has had better. The only reason I give 4 stars rather than 5 is that our server forgot to bring our drink orders once and stopped coming around to ask us if we needed anything about halfway through our dinner.

I came here 8 years ago and it’s just as amazing today as it was then! The service was great, even with our party split and coming and going. I appreciate his patience he had! The bakery is something to go out of your way for. Hands down best fruit tart I’ve had in my life! Fruit tart with a baklava crust!!

This was our second visit in the last 2 months. The food and service were excellent and the desserts from the bakery are outstanding!!! I would go back just for the dessert and coffee. They have inside and outside seating and the inside is open air in the front but they still have air conditioning. The inside is nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. If you park in their parking lot behind the restaurant and eat there, parking is free - just ask for the parking slip, otherwise it’s $5.

Great food and the bakery is amazing. Everything is fresh and tastes delicious. Very good service and always clean. Awesome place to stop while enjoying the sponge docks.

What a wonderful bakery. The problem is clearly how to stop buying so you can carry it all home. Amazing mouse tartlets in so many flavors, chocolate, strawberry etc. Lots of different cheesecakes and baklava too numerous to mention. Do yourself a favor and dont.pass this place up

The food was great and prices reasonable at restaurant. The bakery is out of this world with reasonably priced treats for any and all.

From start to finish this place was amazing. We called the day before for reservations for 5pm on a Saturday for outdoor dining and they accommodated. We called Saturday and asked if they could accommodate the reservation for earlier, to our surprise, they did for 3pm. We arrived, checked in and went to the bakery. Once we paid at the bakery (10min later) our table ready. We sat down and Jay was our server. He was fantastic! Recommended dishes and was very attentive. We had two appetizers the queso and the hummus trio and all of them were delicious! We had the grouper and it was hands down mouth watering! We came up from miami just try this place out and it was totally worth it. When in town or if your coming up just for a drive like we did you must stop here you won’t regret it. Thank you jay for the great service and recommendations and thank you to the chef for the delicious food!

Ive wanted to try this place for awhile because i love greek salad and bakeries. We went Thursday night and sat in the restaurant for a salad and appetizers. Food was good really yummy. Service was just ok but she seemed busy on both sides of the restaurant so i didn't hold it against her. Finally it was time to walk over to the bakery and it didn't disappoint. The cakes were so good and pistachio baklava was amazing we bought more to take home. The young lady helping us was very friendly and sweet then we went to pay.....due to the unfriendly attitude of Konstantina it was actually uncomfortable. She had us run our card twice so i asked for a receipt she just pointed at the box where she didn't tear it off and said "its right there" then ripped it off and threw it at us lol. No thank you have a good night etc...nothing but the obvious disgust at the patrons paying for goodies as i watched her treat others this way as well. I wanted to ask about a couple of greek desserts but was so uncomfortable we just left. It was good...but i probably wont go back as there were plenty of places who were very friendly and hospitable during our walk around the area.

My wife and I just had our fourth visit to Tuscan Sun, three times with other couples. Everyone has loved their dinners and experiences. Apps, entrees, specials, drinks and service left left everyone with smiles. We now consider Tuscan Sun to be a very solid dining choice in historic downtown Tarpon Springs. Keep up the great work!!!

We're new to Florida and went for a drive exploring. We ended up in Tarpon Springs and decided to eat at Tuscan Sun Italian Bistro. We're glad we chose to eat there. The food was great! The server was friendly and attentive and helped with menu choices and briefed us about the Chef being from Italy. The place was busy - attesting to the fact people enjoy the food. We'll be back. :)

My wife and I just had our Valentine's Day dinner at this restaurant. The food was delicious. We had appetizers and a pasta dish and grilled salmon with roasted zucchini and eggplant. Very reasonably priced. Natalie our server was the best! We will definitely be back!

Went with my husband, sister, brother-in-law and son and had one of the best meals ever! We’re from New York where good Italian restaurants are on every corner but this was different! The chef sent out one dish after another that really wowed and our server was so personable with a really good understanding of the menu! New favorite place to eat when we visit the are!

Excellent food and reasonable prices. Try the grilled octopus....you won't be sorry. The chicken parm was amazing(but couldn't finish). The Farmers salad was HUGE. We are definitely going back. Oh, and the Veal Saltimbocca Special was out of this world.

An elegant place with a down to earth atmosphere. We tried the broiled octopus which was absolutely delicious! We also tried the fried calamari, the gyros, the baklava, the strawberry kōk and a mixed drink with Ouzo. The food was amazing and the service was great! I wanted to leave a better review. The food was good. The staff was very friendly. The decor is nice, could use a good deep cleaning out fresh paint. The negatives of this place: it is FREEZING inside. It is so cold you need a jacket and an electric blanket. They are a bit pricey, and it took the water FOR EVER to bring us the check. We actually started to walk out and they finally brought it.

Home style Greek food with an eclectic atmosphere. The service was great, but the portion size was less than impressive for the price. I enjoyed the baked goods they had for desert. All in all, a good place and a pleasant experience. I will be back!

Excellent service, delicious meal. Great location and energy. We always request the passion fruit Sangria but all there Sangrias are awesome. Our waitress Sam was 10 out of 10 for service, checking in on us, so sweet did not even need to write our order for 5 persona down. The many positive reviews are what grabbed my attention for this restaurant. I came here for dinner on a Saturday night and there was about a 30 min wait. I was able to find a seat at the bar and my server was very nice. I ordered the Greek Mule, Hellas Gyro and Baklava for dessert. The gyro took less than 5 minutes to bring out. I was very happy with my experience here, enjoyed the food and would love to come back here in the future.

We've been here a lot for many many years and this was the first time we had a really lousy server. He was just so plain.
