I don't understand is it a gym or nightclub, extremely loud and annoying music all the time. Very bad WiFi almost not working and there's noone to give you comments and noone cares if you send them your comments. Not happy at all with this gym. I just want to finish my workout and leave as its very annoying to stay there. Also no inbody available and if you want to have a membership you need to know that everything else is chargeable like water, towels, lockers. Also if you go from 5 to 10pm it is extremely crowded and hard to do your workout and some people just gather the weights around them and refuse to share it until they finish. Be careful before applying for their membership as they force you to have it for a year and there's no way to cancel it before that and also they make automatic payment from your card.

Gym Nation is one of the money looters I have seen in the market. Pros (one and only one): 1. Amazing interior works and ambience for workout. Cons: 1. Always crowded due to their comparatively low fees. You will never be able to workout based on your routines. You will see people hanging on to rope machines and not leaving it for other people for their turn. Same is around many other machines. You will get dumbbells but you will not get benches. 2. I lost my job and informed Gym Nation admins with documentation proof to cancel my and my spouse's subscription. But they demanded copies of return tickets. I was too busy in planning my return journey and job hunt. Despite of my several requests, they have charged me and my wife's another 2 months fees (total 4 months). Any expat can realize this pain of loosing penny while you are unemployed.

Horrible experience with it. The good reviews that you guys see is because the staff ask us to write good reviews but to be honest , any other gym is better for you. Also be warned that the sales team does not warn you that they can put a travel ban and send your information to a collection agency if your card fails to pay. They make cancelation sound easy but it is not, they have ignored my friends messages trying to stop the renewal for months and I am currently paying 2 months that I did not use the gym in.

So crowded. All of the times. Probably because you made it so cheap that attracted a lot of people. And some of them with the minimal knowledge of being hygiene & gym protocols, you ruined the reputation of “the best gym of the year”. You need to wait for the machine for almost 10 minutes (because a bunch of school kids are taking selfies). I would really suggest from the management to reconsider the demography of the members before they completely lose it. I signed for an annual membership and I’m willing to cancel it even if I have to pay a penalty.

I've never written a bad review on google before, but I guess I am forced due to the poor customer service this place has. The gym is so crowded. If you usually take an hour to finish your routine, it will take you more than 3 hours to finish it just because of how much time you need to waste waiting for other people to finish. If you're promised a one-month free trial during your subscription, don't believe it, they will make you sign a 1-year contract and if you decide to cancel during that 1-month they won't allow it. I tried to cancel after spending 7 days, and they refused to cancel my subscription. Completely not recommended, pay some extra money somewhere else and enjoy better service and better gym experience. The amount of frustration their customer service will make you go through is not worth any amount of money you're gonna save with them.

This is by far the worst gym when it comes to client services and account management. Truly my deepest regret in my entire stay in the UAE. I have a paid up (upfront) 3 month membership that was cancelled without any explanation or reason (staff member confirmed that the gym made an error), I have been trying to resolve this for a good 3 weeks. A staff member called today requesting my banking details, seems I am being forced to renew my membership indefinitely while not being able to actually go to gym. I have been waiting for them to call me back (because there is absolutely no way of contacting them unless they decide to pick up the phone to call you). Worst by far!

They have a variety of workouts to choose from: we tried out Blitz - a hybrid cardio and resistance training put together by Desmond Wong (the Group Fitness Manager). Other high intensity workouts like the ultimate HIIT, then CrossFit and the best thing about GymNation is that their workout patterns can be modified according to your ability regardless of age or fitness level!

They sell themselves as a cheap Gym, well yes, they are cheap in everything starting from cheap and low customer services and reception, cheap and low quality gym equipment and beyond all of their is no Hygiene at ALL. Their Personnel Trainers keeps nagging and disturbing you every time you go to the Gym just to buy private lessons. and If you do not buy private lessons they will make your time difficult and unpleasant. Their personnel trainers will reserve the equipment for their private customers and will not let you to do your exercise!!! Parking is a nightmare - you will spend at least 20-25min going around to find a parking. The will scam you just to sign a contract with scam terms and once you sing-up nobody care about you. You will see in their website their are no contact details at ALL - no contact number and no contact email. just a SCAM. I have to go all the way to the gym to highlight the issues and trying to resolve my issue yet i get a rude response as like they don't care at ALL. I had to submit a compliant to the authorities now for their unprofessional service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS and don't fall in their scam

If I could give a zero stars I would! It started off great, nice prices nice facilities, nice lesson, but once they catch your payment there is no way to get them off your credit card!!! No answers to email, no phone to call, no one knows anything, they are very responsive for new leads though!! I have received one email stating that i would be charged only 149 AED for my contract completion, guess what i got charged 399 AED instead.. sent them an email...no answers ... Please instead of new gyms try to get the accounts sorted!!!

Firstly, check their newest 5-star reviewers - they are all bots rating this company 5 stars without any comments. I think this should be reported to Google. Secondly, this company won't let you to cancel the contract even after you provide supporting documents and will forward your case to "CMS Creditors". They still do not agree to cancel my membership even I stopped going to that gym 4 months ago. Thirdly, rarely any parking spaces available and gym is overcrowded, that's why I stopped going to this gym.

I am very much impressed with the quality of equipments which is there as well professional trainers, I haven't taken my training session yet but I am impressed with the knowledge trainer carry, I have asked many things to do my workout properly. Also the atmosphere is very nice and it motivates you to do more workout, I am having strange hours and 24 hour opening helps me fit my gym timings . Thank you for making such a fantastic Gym.

They’re threatening to sue me even though i honored the contract. i signed up for 6 months and the person helping me sign up was a woman who told me that after the 6 months they won’t take money from my account… 9 months later they’re threatening to sue an 18 year old because of 200 dirhams unpaid… this gym is just not worth it, go somewhere else.

just completed my yearly membership and i can finally tell you pros and cons. first of all the gym itself is good and spacious with few studios; working 24/7. staff members are friendly and helpful. but it becomes difficult to continue my workouts there. if you want to go there after work note that traffic jams are insane. parking is pain. all machines, barbells, dumbbells are busy and the apple has nowhere to fall and the same story in 7 am. used to love it but can’t deal anymore. update. they tried to make me pay after the end of my membership and explained that if i didn’t request to cancel i HAVE to pay lol. maybe they think if i respected their t&c i am an idiot. please find a better gym where you won’t feel like you’re in jail.

Gymnation is the number one best fitness center here in motor city. 24/7 good service, clean and plenty of good group classes of your favorite choice and friendly staff especially Cindy at the reception.

Salaam, I don’t know what to say or how to start! It’s Stone Age machines, loud and unsynchronized music, especially in evening sessions. Seriously now I’m thinking of not renewing my Membership. I know as a management Do you understand the whole situation? Or just cashing money! Guys, we are in Dubai. Are you aware of that? We are not somewhere else. For me GymNation in Motor City for me it’s just a big signboard.

One of the worst gym experiences you can have. When it comes to joining they are so fast to reply and so active. But when you want to cancel your membership due to personal reasons and unforeseable events they will make your life miserable. In my case one of their own staff said it's the last payment but suddenly they claim that you owe them even if you showed them evidence of the conversation. Therefore they can't adhere to the agreement. On top of it I chased after them for a reply multiple times and got no reply but when it came to taking money they replied so fast explaining rules and procedures. Also freezing your membership is so difficult you have to provide so much proof i mean which gym does that? Over all one of the worst gym I've joined.

I really don't know where to start. First of all, read the comments with few stars so that you are not surprised by the score of 4.8 from more than 7,000 reviews that in the end we can question its origin. The facilities are not bad, of course there is a lack of cleanliness because many people attend. My disagreement is not with the facilities but with the people who manage the place. Their membership packages seem cheap but once you purchase it and try to cancel it, even if you have 100% valid reasons, They are going to use dirty tactics to collect your money. My wife became pregnant and they knew how to stress her out until they took the money from her. I don't have a job in the UAE and they knew how to push me to the limit by charging and charging my card until they took the money from me. My humble recommendation is that you look for a better place or make sure from the beginning that all conditions are favorable for both parties and not just for them.

An amazing gym with an amazing environment for people to help and inspire each other. The most friendly staff i’ve ever witnessed especially the people at the front desk and the people handling the maintenance of the gym. Helped me reach my goals faster than I would’ve with a uninspiring environment.

Bad experience. Going to this gym is like a challenge to having parking space. You need to spare more than 30-40 extra minutes to park unless you park further and choose to walk in the hot sun. I book sessions for 9:30 & till 10:15 I am just searching for the parking. These guys are running after you for membership with free blitz sessions and other promotional offers. Once you pay, they disclose terms conditions from nowhere. 7 Blitz must be booked in continuation!!! Which biggerner does blitz every day!!!? I'm quite disappointed with opting out from annual membership even though you are moving out of the country along with other mentioned problems. They are making it difficult.

Worst service ever, they want only to take your money. I provided everything to cancel the membership as per their contract, but they did not agree and even they wanted me to pay extra and extra. Everyone happy with the monthly membership with them now, you will see how those people when you want to cancel one day.

I visited the gym through the free trial, and still wasn’t worth it. Some Equipment are old, some are rusty. You have to pay AED 20 for a lock to keep your belongings safe in a locker😂. Very crowded. I would suggest other options, I’ll continue my journey to find the best gym.

There have been instances where the facilities were not adequately maintained, resulting in an unpleasant odor. I believe that regular cleaning and maintenance routines could significantly enhance the overall experience for all members. I believe everyone would appreciate if gymnation puts air fresher.. I want to address the issue of payment reminders. While it's essential for the gym to maintain its financial stability, it would be more customer-friendly if they approached late payments with a more understanding and empathetic approach. Threatening messages can create unnecessary stress for members who may be experiencing temporary financial difficulties.there is a way of speaking to the customers no one is running away.

Truly awful customer service! I honoured a 12 month fixed contract. I even paid an extra 2 months to this company as I didn’t realise the contract ‘auto-renewed’. Of course there was no communication regarding the renewal, they are just happy to take more money! They demanded an extra months payment as their policy is 30 day’s cancellation notice! There is no way to speak to any customer service other than email, which I was ignored on for almost a week. I had to visit the location to speak with reception who informed me that management & also the staff member responsible were both on vacation & no one was taking over their responsibilities! No problem with having vacation, but not having people take over such important customer service tasks! Avoid a membership here at all costs as there is no customer service & they just care about taking as many Dirhams off you as possible.

Good Gym,, decent facilities but washroom area stinks and over crowded. One year contract was signed but after 3 months they have increased membership fees without my consent and started charging my credit card. I had no option but to cancel credit card. Their finance team seems fraud and cheater. But for the price gym is good.

Went to checkout the gym and it smelled terrible. Locker rooms reeked of bad sweat and shoes smell. Area around the shower and the hand wash was flooded with no attendant in sight. I couldn’t stay there for more than 5 mins and left. You need to invest in some good room odourizer or ventilation in general. It’s a shame as they do seem to have good equipments and big spaces but seemed overcrowded. Also, read a lot of reviews about unfair payment terms where they simply won’t cancel even after subscription commitment is over.

Great gym, music is a little loud but gotten better in the last few months. The new free weights arrangement as of Dec 2022.. ughh not very user friendly. Better just use 16kg and under or get ready to carry your weights half way across the gym just to use them.

I registered at the base or Gymnation Al quoz, but finally I discovered Gymnation in Motor City and frankly the reception is nice. The gym is good. I feel really comfortable. The people at the reception are smiling. It gives us a lot of energy to start the workout. In short, it's a great gym I recommend

Best gym, front and back of house staff and personal trainers that I’ve trained with in a long time. The facilities are great, the staff are helpful, the PTs are fun but firm. I couldn’t have achieved several life goals (Kilimanjaro and fat loss) without them. Special mentions for both Jill and Simret, who couldn’t have been more helpful.

Disgusting changing areas and very poor gym equipment hygiene - the mens changing area is always smelly, sinks are dirty and the cleaners spend all their time on their mobile phones. Other users of the gym do not clean the machines after using - this is disgusting especially during COVID pandemic. There are no sanitising sprays on the gym floor.

I just joined GymNation at Motor City and have been pleasantly surprised. Just because it's a cheaper gym, it doesn't mean that it feels any different from one three times as expensive. I mostly attend the virtual classes. I was skeptical at first but they're a great no-faff and no-pressure way to workout. There is always space in these sessions. I particularly like that there are early slots, which is perfect and set me up for the day nicely.

Cleber (Brazilian guy), my trainer is the best! About the gym itself, the registration system, payment options, booking app and location is good value for money. Staff, facilities and classes, all are great but the place gets busy during peak hours. Comparing from my previous gym, there is a big difference on cleanliness though. People aren’t wiping the seats and equipments after use and I can smell odor in the stretching area as well as in the toilets/shower room. Hope the management look into this matter.

Great Gym. As a veteran of 11 years, this is THE biggest gym I've ever been to. Lots of equipment is available, well distanced. But the best thing is the people. First of all everyone is so fit, and many know what they are doing. Second, everyone is nice and courteous, You can work in with people or just banter around randomly and it's wonderful. Definitely full of vibrant, well-adjusted clientele, who know how to work together despite the fact that it's crowded even at the non-peak times.

Contrary to beliefs, I actually love this gym I been coming here almost every day for 3 months now. I highly suggest you try BLITZ. The team is amazing. Winnie is always helpful and welcoming, and some of the most professional trainers are Simon and Orlando, love love love their morning classes. I also suggest trying flow yoga with Shiril, it's a great pick me up on the weekend. 👍🏻

Hands down, the best choice i have ever made in my life joining GymNation. I have had nothing but an amazing experience. Great classes like body pump, body attack, body combat, yoga classes and zumba. Great equiplments and will definitely invite more friends to this facility. This is such a perfect place for gym lovers who want big space and very very clean.

Absolutely appalling service after signing up!! I enrolled for a 6 month membership, was told cancellation will be a month penalty which is standard. I get sent a t&c after which says I can’t cancel or have to pay out the entire remaining contract, even after agreeing to do so they just make it the most complicated waste of time ! I’ve been trying to cancel my membership as the place has absolutely no parking, peak hours are always overcrowded and most people there unfortunately don’t have basic courtesy for hygiene - specially during peak hours. Unless you meet their ‘criteria’ for cancellation there’s no way to do so!

Having recently become a member at Gym Nation motor city I would like to say ‘well done’ to Grant and his team for providing a superb service! Considering the very competitive monthly price, you do get excellent service and facilities. The gym is huge and very well equipped with every resistance machine, CV machine and free weight you could wish for, and mode! There’s certainly a lot of scope to vary your workouts with a multitude of options to it every body part. It can get quite busy occasionally but I’m not surprised considering the excellent value for money. Well done Grant and the team, and keep up the good work! See you tomorrow, Chris 👍💪

My son is 18 years old. He was made to sign digital contract which as a teenager he did not even realise the implications nor he was explained about cancellation procedures. The gym did not even bother to take my number for emergency or any follow-up at the time they made my son sign the digital contract. My son had stopped using the Gym during the time he was having his exams. He went on holidays in July -Aug 2023 and then after that out of UAE to attend college. Now in Dec 2023 the Gym is sending legal notice to him for non payment for the past 6 months, even though he did not use the gym. Accounts will not let us get in touch with the owner to explain nor is willing to to meet us, no humanity, no flexibility. Either my son pays or face legal actions since according to them 16 years old and above are responsible enough to sign contracts. Parents to decide if they wish their 16+ children to use Gymnation.

Great gym. Average prices. Active monitoring of the floor, equipment and sanitisers can improve. Paper towels run out, disinfectant sprays are often not placed back in their station by other users and machines are often not cleaned after use which means the cleaning crew need to also be on the lookout for this.

Amazing gym with great equipment! Happy to find a lot of treadmills and step master machines! Loved the fitness motivational quotes and lighting in the gym. The Ac was strong and machines were clean properly.Very complex in terms of classes. Staff were very friendly also the restaurant next to has a good variety of protein shakes and healthy options. Definitely one of the best gyms I’ve been in Dubai!

Worst service ever, got membership for 3 months. I didn’t want to renew but they are refusing to not renew and they say you cannot cancel (in fact it is not cancellation I just don’t want to renew). They are unprofessional, unethical, they don’t assist with any request. Worst gym ever. It is always dirty, the smell is crazy, you don’t have time to use any machine and if you will not renew they will start telling you that they cannot cancel! And they delay just to withdraw every month a payment. The worst service!!! Update: and they block you as well

One of the best gyms around. The staff is amazing! Cindy helped closed the account (leaving the country) with a smile and was sorry to lose us. Every time we came in, Abid knew us by name and greeted us with a smile and a 'It's been a long time'. Will miss this place!

Specially motor city branch, i cant imagine how these agents are talking to the paying members at this gym. However, you dont see this unless you pay and you’re in! While registration they are angels but wait until you pay so the service will go to poorest levels

Been coming here for about 3 years now, and in terms of location, price, and service combined, this is probably the best gym you’ll find in Dubai. Staff are friendly and are open to your requests, the equipment is more than plenty. Overall, i’d say give it a shot at least, they give you a week for free and judge for yourself, but it is my personal best.

Was quick to sign up and the gym has enough equipment that you don’t need to wait to use! Jill on the front desk is absolutely lovely and always helps me with enquiries and any issues I have. Professional and the best gym I’ve been in so far.

A spacious gym with a modern vibrant interior. It has all the equipment and machines that you need and the prices are affordable. HIGHLIGHT OF PROFESSIONALISM to Jill who is just alert quick smart and always able to solve the issues we faced in no time. Overall it’s recommended, just avoid peak hours because it gets really crowded.

Best gym on the planet, way better than this fitness something above it, would really recommend this gym to anyone that lives near this area. The new staff is way better than the old ones they are nice and happy to help at any given time.

Gym was very clean and had more than enough work with and the receptionist Jeal was super amazing , very friendly and welcoming with a lovely smile. She blew my mind away with her exceptional customer service.

This gym had given false promises to my friend by telling them they can cancel their subscription anytime and then charged him money after he tried to cancel many times. This is an very unprofessional gym and staff cannot be trusted to give any correct information. I advise to find another gym.

Good value but poorly maintained everywhere. Rowing machines, assault bikes and most cabled machines need a decent service or repair. Shower heads need fixing. Cleaning crew do a good job. Gym pretty busy most of the time.

Unfortunately, free parking is not any longer available! Free underground parking was the only advantage they have over fitness first a while ago. Then, they canceled the underground parking for the free above ground parking related to the tower. Starting from tomorrow, even this above ground and crowded parking will be charged and not free anymore! That means, it is better now to consider other options and there are many decent competitors with free parking. Hopefully, they will cancel my membership without a lot of hassle!

Clean, great AC and have a lots of machines! It can get pretty packed making you wait for a whole until you can use machines but everyone (staffs and members) are very friendly and no one makes mess in the gym. They have improved their music so for me I don't need to bring headphones. Wide variety of machines and many dumbbells to use. I hope this gym cam be extended in the future. So many people likes it because everyone can join as it is very affordable. Finally they provide some offer that really suites my budget. Thanks Jill for helping sign up. Such a very fine lady!
