Riding kayak on your own for ours on a peaceful river with a wonderful scenery around is an amazing experience! There are other activities here like camping, kayaking, hammock, etc. We just took the kayaking. We rowed for 3 hours. We were served fresh watermelon and having them in the middle of a river was a very new and refreshing experience. Phones are not allowed while kayaking, pictures will be taken by the guide. In the end, seeing the sunset, and rowing back in Twilight became a very memorable experience

This place has mesmerized me completely... I did leave place with heavy heart..I went there as solo traveller but never was one! I stayed in mixed dorm and there met amazing people at Kayakboy! Well, I worked all for 4 days with showing off various background! 😜 This place has cafe which caters to limited options specially for Veg!! Overall amazing place to stay, chill and have a awesome time. Don't forget to try your hands on Kayaking and Surfing! Nothing beats that feeling 😉 This isn't luxurious place., But gives you best experience 😀 Do share your experience!

I had an incredible experience at the surfing club where I learned to surf as a beginner and enjoyed kayaking as well. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful backwaters and a picturesque setting. What truly made this experience memorable were the amazing instructors , management and friends I met along the way. I would highly recommend this surfing club to anyone looking to learn to surf, enjoy kayaking, and immerse themselves in a fantastic ocean adventure.

Good place amidst nature. Experienced guides.

One of the best experiences I ever had. Learning surfing was the best choice and had a lot of fun. The place is good they have tents, dorms and rooms. There is a cafe where you get food it's okayish. Chai and coffee are from the machine. Kayaking was fun as well. Washrooms need more maintenance. Overall place is good to learn and stay in. All the surf instructors were good at their job. They were supportive. I would encourage people to come here and learn to surf. Please carry Odomos with you while travelling or else mosquitoes will eat you alive. Those who stays at tents.

Great place for Kayaking at reasonable price. Life jackets are provided. The instructors are also good. They help you in case you find it difficult to kayak. There are single and double kayaks available as per your preference. You don't need to worry about the photos as the guide will take all the photos and videos from iPhone for you Property has hammocks, volleyball, frisbee, and trampoline to use. Camping, bonfire and cafe to eat are available as well. They offer other water sports like wake surfing They provide 🍉 during the kayaking ride.

I had a wonderful week spent in Mulki at Kayakboy's home stay. It was a work week mixed with some great adventurous activities. I had my first lessons of Surfing which was fun and at the same time quite exhausting. One day the waves were helping me learn while another was full of struggle.Sunny (the instructor) was great in guiding me throughout. I also was delighted to witness bioluminous on a night kayaking trip.The entire staff is very welcoming and you can enjoy delicious food in the homestay itself. The overall vibe is very friendly. Although i couldn't try the Wake Surfing due to work, i am heading there again to surf more for sure!

This has been my regular route to travel for 7 years and I always wished to touch the waters, thank you Sushant for building this community and making it possible for everyone. He is approachable and helpful suggesting the right time to kayak , the mangroves, the sunset its been a beautiful experience. Spot the jelly fishes & picturesque coconut plantations 360 degree view. Dip in the river is mandatory 🤭

Amazing place to see the sunset. The evening package starts at 4:00PM and ends at around 6:30PM. The kayaking distance is about 2KM in total (to and fro). There are a lot of cockles at the river, if anyone is interested in picking. The cost for an individual in a single Kayak is ₹550/-, whereas for those who can't kayak, a motorboat is provided at ₹1000/-. The experience was lovely, however it is quite expensive.

Place has such an amazing vibe, staffs are good, food is great and everything around it is so much peaceful. If u want to go chill, learn new things, eat healthy and at the same time want to meet some great people! This is the place.

Had an amazing experience to have done 3 day surfing, river water swimming and kayaking here. Must recommended for beginner level surfing Enthusiasts. Great instructors, very clear teaching process and very supportive throughout. Amazing location too, got many scenic beaches nearby!

So hoping its going to be even better next time around. We went primarily for the kayaking which was great, people were really friendly and helpful. But surely coming back for the other sports they offer.

A very beautiful place to be. This place is best if you’re coming with a bunch of friends to do surfing and kayaking. The place offered a place to work from the site as well. I’d taken the camping package which costs 1500rs per person. It has a tent stay, dinner, breakfast and tea/coffee along with Kayaking for 5 kms. Well trained professionals guiding you on how to do these water activities. They’re expanding furthermore. A must visit place.

So far, I have visited this place twice in two months. And both the times I have been here were equally fun filled and joyous.💖👍 The first time, we tried to learn wave surfing at the local beach, just a few mins drive from the camp. It was a tiring yet an amazing experience😅. Before venturing into the sea, we had a warm up session and a small tutorial from the guide on the various aspects of the surfing board. I took me and others several attempts to successfully catch a wave and stand on the surf board. I would recommend you to take multiple surfing sessions to properly learn the skill. Also, a necessary note on all the trainers and guides at Kayakboy. All of them are certified and have good experience to teach the skills and to tackle any accidents. The second time I visited, was a much more surreal experience. I witnessed the magical phenomenon of bioluminescence, right in the river. We started in our kayaks at around 1 AM and watched the river glow blue. A gentle touch from our hands over the water and the blue color appeared from now where! Totally magical!! We returned to the camp after an hour or so and dozed off in the tents and dormitory alloted to us. Next day, by 7 we went for the 5km kayaking around the island. Before setting off, we were properly briefed about the safety aspects, kayak riding techniques and other tips. We were 5 of us, assisted by a guide. It was a very leisure tour around the river, and witnessed the glorious sunrise from the east. It took around 2 hours to return.The guide took photos for all of us. Once we came back, had a good meal at the cafe. I had a panneer sandwich and tea, along with some fruits. There are eggs and non veg options as well. After a happy breakfast asking with friends, I dropped this review which you have patiently read so far, to earn a badge of your choice! That's right! All you have to do is to drop a review on Google maps and choose from the 9 different varieties of badges kept there. If you have been to kayak boy and participated in any activity, request the photos via WhatsApp. It will be sent to you within the next day. You can also try slack lining, volleyball, trampoline or just chill out in the hammocks. Also,the entire premises is covered with wifi. Amazing place..!! The owner and the staff are so friendly and nice. This place has the best vibes and the way it's maintained is just incredible. Surfing instructors are simply the best. Very helpful and friendly. Coming here was one of the best decisions ever.

Stayed here for 5 days and what an amazing experience it was! The location of this is easily commute friendly. Met a beautiful set of friends and made many memories. I did a 5 day surfing course and it's an unforgettable experience! Can't wait to come back here!

I tried kayaking in mulki first time, it was great experience. The location is spot on frm what u see in the map and u can take your vehicle there as there is lots of parking space. The instructor were pretty friendly and responding. All the life jacket, paddle, Kayak are in good condition and u can also borrow a water bottle for kayaking. It was 5 km kayaking, and was able to complete easily. There is option for single and dual kayaking. There is a fast-food joint in the premise. Also lots of space if needed for camping indoor/outdoor. All camping equipment ll be provided with campfire and other fun activities.

Had come here for a solo surfing of 5 days. Sharan is the best instructor here. He knows his waves! The place is pretty nice. Did the kayaking and saw the blue luminescent. It was nice. Dipankar is the guy who handles everything. He is a nice friendly person.

The best place to learn Surfing and have lots fun activities like kayaking, Stand-up Paddling.. The stay was fabulous…!! Waking up to the river view… and the chirping of birds!! If you are lucky enough you may even see peacocks The staffs are really great and calm.. and the teaching is perfect!! The best weekend getaway to learn a new activity of surfing and relax for the rest of the day. They also have contacts of bicycles… you can go on a bicycle ride during sunset!!

This place has good vibes. Peaceful, clean and easily approachable( beside the coastal highway). Situated at the backwaters, kayaking was great. Hammocks are there everywhere. Cons: The restaurant at this place has almost no South Indian food available. Need to travel in Mulki village or near the beaches to eat authentic South Indian food. We had a tent stay for a day and it was really very hot inside the tent, we couldn't sleep well.

We just loved the place. It is amazing experience. This was my first time that me and my husband with our 5 year old visited this place and I was super relaxed and happy. Wow! Amazing experience... Trainers are professionals and national level rank holders... You'll definitely learn something in facing ways... No drinks and smoking inside the premises and closed 10.30pm sharp. It's really good. You can do it outside if wish. Easily can spend 3-5days classes camp... 1 amazing experience can feel with ways..

Stayed at this place for five days and the experience was wholesome. The staff here are too friendly. I was able to catch the wave and surf pretty well by the end of the course. Went kayaking and watched the beautiful sunset. Fun place with lot of activities like hammock ,trampoline , wake surfing and camp fire. Definitely recommended.

Not clean. Was very disappointed with the way they treated us. The charges are too high and what is advertised is far from reality.

I have had one of the most memorable experiences of my like here. The event was well organised and the gears were high end. Plus the view in the Sambhavi river is breathtaking, especially the sunrise. Sushant aka Kayak Boy is extremely humble man and made this trip great fun. Fruits and Energy Drinks were constantly provided. It was a great fun overall we did kayaking, swimming, barbecue, pitching tent. I would recommend visiting here and would visit myself again.

Great place for beginners to learn surfing with good trainers. They have really good AC dorms and decent tents for stay. Except for the open shower(only if you opt for a tent stay), you will have a wonderful experience here.

An amazing place for kayaking. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have experienced both kayaking and surfing with kayakboy. Few months back they have introduced packages for surfing. The AC rooms are good. All in all it’s a good place for a water adventure.

We booked the 5km kayaking and beach camping package. Beautiful locale and a complete kayaking experience. Staff were friendly and ambience was good. We were lucky enough to catch Bioluminescence.

One of the best water activity we did in our trip. Our instructor made us feel comfortable and did cheer up the ride for us. The experience is one of its kind and truly felt like we were hugged by nature and patted by trees. This is a must and doesn’t matter if you are off size, young, old or far away from this place, just do it. This place has abundant parking, cafe on property, proper safety equipment’s and everything you would need for a safe trip.
