Waterfront Fountain
Cultural landmark
👍👍 This is a decent spot to enjoy the beauty of simcoe lake. Although the fountain was closed as we went in the starting of April, there is nice trail to walk and a playground for kids to enjoy. Unfortunately the sun sets in the opposite direction of the lake, or else it would be the best spot to enjoy...

👍👍 I don’t like to draw attention to negativity however I can’t help but feel very disappointed to see some of these reviews from people in the comment section. He puts on such a beautiful show every year FOR FREE, from the love of his own heart with no ulterior motive. I don’t think people realize how...

Bear Creek Eco Park
Park
👍 The park is not big. It's very quiet although it's beside a busy street. The well built boardwalk is over the wetland. The lookout square is nice for kids to watch ducks, goose, frogs and turtles. There is a short trail along the river. It's very beautiful in fall. One-way parking is free. It's need...

👍👍 Lovely waterfront park and the sorrounding area- real treat for those seeking a peaceful escape. Sure, it's not Toronto's skyline, but it's a gem in its own right. We had a blast watching the sunset – no city noise, less crowd, and crisp autumn air. ♥️🍁👌🏻

Barrie Dog Off Leash Recreation Area
Dog park
👍👍 Our dog loves this park! There is a fenced woods area with a trail for a 10 minute walk. Most of the dogs are in the large fenced area and running together there. You can sit on a chair or a bench.
In winter time, dress warm, since it gets really windy and chilly on the open space.

Tyndale Beach
Park
😠 I'm not recommend this place anymore. This have a new barbeque area but we got a warning to stop barbequeing otherwise we will get the ticket. Also a parking machine was broken and we all got a parking tickets. The parking for all day is about $50 which is nonsense for my opinion.

Sandringham Park
Park
👍👍 This is a park where they have a playground and grass in a field to play the sports on. This is not a clothing optional area as there are children at play and they do not need to see your doodle. I saw a lady bug and it was in the open like African lion safari but free!!

😐 Homeless epidemic? Garbage and potholes everywhere? Let's make a sign instead. At least you won't be wondering which city you're in I guess.
