😐 It was really extremely crowded. Very busy. Huge delay during game time. We were on time and, as previously requested, at registration 20 minutes before game time. Unfortunately, the children were only allowed to play the first game at least 20 minutes late. Four games were confirmed in the 2 hour b...

👍👍 A very great exhibition and a little insider tip in Flingern. I think the rule that everyone pays what they can/want is great. Absolute recommendation!

Rotthäuser Bachtal image
Rotthäuser Bachtal
Nature preserve
👍👍 Fantastic nature near the big city. It can get a bit crowded at the weekend, but it's worth it! A highlight for me: the Skudden, an old, small breed of sheep that you can admire at the Abshof.

Local history museum
👍👍 Great museum. Free entry. The reception lady was very kind too (and spoke fluent English). It was very empty, not sure why. It's a very insightful museum. I definitely recommend.

Father Rhine and his Daughters image
Father Rhine and his Daughters
👍👍 Beautiful elegant monument is located in front of the Museum of Modern Art K21. I don't know that this monument is called Father Rhine and His Daughter. It's very strange because it's on the Düssel river, not the Rhine!

Volmerswerther Rheinblick image
Volmerswerther Rheinblick
Tourist attraction
👍👍 The Volmerswerther Rheinblick is actually the entire bank of the Rhine next to this street, which partly includes a wall where many people are always resting or eating ice cream or drinking coffee. Of course, the walk goes for kilometers in both directions. One direction is the university clinic and...

Stadtgraben / Königsallee image
Stadtgraben / Königsallee
Tourist attraction
👍👍 Always worth a walk at any time of year, especially when events are taking place. In our case it was the gourmet festival in August 22 with lots of exquisite delicacies and wines. Feast, drink, stroll in a pleasant 24 degrees and sunshine. There's no better way to spend a Sunday.

Heinz Mack - Dreisegelbrunnen image
Heinz Mack - Dreisegelbrunnen
Tourist attraction
👍👍 The three-legged fountain, or simply called the sail well, actually reminds me less of a sailing ship than of geometric shapes, which of course would be the case with rigging. But it is the clarity, the precision and the fold that the painter and painter Heinz Mack applied here. In non-figurative f...

Rheinpromenade image
Tourist attraction
🫤 Were there on the weekend when the weather was nice. Crowds of people pushed their way across the promenade. Since we were traveling in a wheelchair, it was very difficult to move forward. Would have liked to have a drink somewhere. But in none of the restaurants was it possible to get to a table wi...
