Utila Dive Centre
SCUBA tour agency
👍👍 Had the best time getting my open water at UDC. My instructors Beck & Camilla were honestly the best. Everything was very easy to understand thanks to their clear explanation. They were very patient, fun and caring which made me feel relaxed and at peace underwater. Such an amazing new experience th...

Copán Ruins
Historical place
👍👍 Quite popular tourist location. It's more interesting if you hire the tour guide to understand the history and meanings of the ruins. A lot more shady than I expected, many big trees provide shades. The mesesium is worth visiting for the scripture art. We enjoyed the visit.

Roatan Divers
Dive shop
👍👍 What can I say about this amazing dive shop? Eight friends and I came to Roatan for a 10-day birthday getaway, and stayed in a house 50 yards away. So it was a no-brainer to do some diving through them. Well, that turned into me getting my Advanced Open Water Certificatuon.
Let me tell you, the ener...

Sandy Buns Bakery
American restaurant
👍👍 Flavorful & inexpensive breakfast. The breakfast sandwich is great—not too heavy & very tasty on the bagel. The cinnamon roll is a reasonable size & great with coffee. Breakfast burrito is good, too.
Any place that you can get two entree, a cinnamon roll & two coffees for under $20 is a 👏🏼👏🏼.

Mahogany Bay Cruise Terminal
Cruise terminal
👍👍 Beautiful, free beach with shops and restaurants close by. A really nice, convenient option when vacationing on a budget.
Unfortunately, the roped-off [free] area isn't ideal for snorkeling at all - too murky, but a pretty area nonetheless. If snorkeling is what you're looking to do, consider a paid...

Parque Nacional La Tigra
Nature preserve
👍 Some advice if you're planning a visit, especially if you're a foreigner.
1. The price for foreigners is 10 dollars, 240 limpiras. It's almost 4 times more than for a national. But if you're going with Hondurans just let them buy tickets for you. Don't speak foreign language in front of employees an...

Mahogany Beach
Beach
😐 The beach is beautiful. The only offset was that when we went snorkeling in the deep ends/ open area there were A LOT of trash. It was devastating to swim in it and through it. It would have been nice if the jet ski people were use a net to clean up the top part of the beach. Once we were done snork...

Mc Allister's Irish Pub
Irish pub
👍 Great place to drink and share with friends. I tried local beer crafted here and I loved the experience! My only concern is that people are allowed to smoke upstairs. So watch out if you want to take care of yourself during these Covid times.
