👍 An important space which ensures the history of colonisation and dispossession is preserved. Pity there aren’t more actual exhibits, but there is a lot of history to read.

😠 1. They require passports to enter the ferry.
2. Logistic organisation is super poor, we waited our bus for 30 min to one direction, and 40 min back.
3. The program is boring, no artifacts, no show, no interaction, just talking about history.
4. Groups are owercrouded, abot 60-70 people.

🫤 Web page needs updating to explain that it's a restaurant in the old mill and that there is no museum guide, books, staff etc. The resteraunt is good and we stopped and had a meal but the objective was to gain a detailed understanding of the mill.

😐 HOW TO GET IN: go to the top gate (the one opposite the hospital) not the bottom gate (the makeshift washing line). If you loiter there for two minutes an employee will come and open for you. Rust en Vreugd is the strangest tourist attraction in Cape Town. The beautiful facade and garden conceal a d...

👍 ⚓ A should do attraction at the Waterfront. From outside a beautiful building. Inside, small but it is worth it to walk through, watch and linger for a while. In October 2020 under lockdown level 1 restrictions I got a lot of space due to less tourists; pity, on the othe hand.
