👍👍 Beautiful little spot so far untouched by developers. I hear someone’s trying to change that and build on the fields. What an absolute loss that would be! There’s a campaign on the go to try and stop it from happening and I hope they do well.

👍👍 Lovely little place, worth a visit. Cobbled Street in place to show how shops were. Entrance free but parking charges apply 3 hrs £2.50 (at time of writing). Little cafe on site. Peel Park at the back, so could make it into a picnic day too.

👍👍 It’s lovely, calming, tranquil not sure about it being a beach though although there are plenty of great places to paddle and sit, very dog friendly place and whilst I’m not a dog person myself all the owners are very responsible so it’s safe for little ones to play

😠 Predatory car parking - an increase of 500% over previously. The National Trust are apparently attempting to replace the UK aristocracy with their own tin-eared ivory-tower 'let them eat cake' elitism. Disgraceful, especially given the CEO's six-figure salary. Boycotted.
