👍👍 Popped in for a pint after a nice walk. Lovely weather so sat outside overlooking the canal. Dog friendly. Warm welcome from the lady behind the bar. I had a quality pint of Guinness and my wife enjoyed a raspberry gin and lemonade. Food being served looked so tempting. We'll certainly be back.

👍👍 Great pub serving well kept Robinsons Ales. Dizzy Blonde is my favourite tipple and its first class. Great friendly Landlord, Malcolm, and staff. Right next to the Canal with a beer garden looking over lock 43. Food is well priced and great quality. Give it a go if your passing!

👍👍 Came for fathers day lunch and got a free pint! Not been before but the food was amazing! Only thing I would say is the service isn’t the quickest when collecting plates/next course etc But we were in no rush so it was all good Can’t wait to come back!

👍 Absolutely brilliant little place. Lovely home cooked food and a different specials menu daily. Excellent staff. Easy to access with pram or wheelchair. Lovely surroundings and great hospitality

👍 Nice pub. The pork belly starter was good, so was the burger and the seabass. However, the Hunters chicken was oily yet dry, with quite miserable looking (reheated) fries. So the food can vary a bit.

😐 Under new management. Relatively small bar area. Can get busy. Invariably noisy with quite unnecessary background music and televisions, in addition to the customers' contribution. Some cheaper drinks Monday to Wednesday. No food under new management. Traffic noise from busy road in parts of the bar...
