ISKCON Hawaii
Hindu temple
👍👍 It is not a Hindu Temple. The Hare Krishna's are not Hindus! Anyway, I really enjoyed my time here and especially my time spent with Srutakirti Das and the other devotees.
If you are into spiritual life then don't miss visiting this wonderful place.

👍👍 This place is supper cool and a total hidden gem in Waikiki. Fortunately, we were able to secure a private tour thanks to Ben who is one of the family members that runs the place.
It is actually a whole jewelry manufacturer, but they have an amazing collection of gems and minerals on display that a...

Kalihi Union Church
Church
👍👍 I've done some work and stuff here. Compared to other Churches, it's massive. I helped out with the play about Opukahaia and participated in a few other events. They've got great staff, great people, and great events.

Hawaii Nature Center
Education center
👍 Love, love, love this place to start and end a hike. Since Covid, the nature center itself has been closed. So, I don't know what the inside is like. Great to have a restroom and a spicket to wash mud and dirt off after a hike. One of my favorite local spots!

👍👍 The King Kamehameha statue is at it’s best across the street from the only Royal Palace in the United States. When it is covered in flowers🌺 ,it’s fantastic. Thanks for reading my review and a thumbs up would increase my google rating. Aloha and good luck to you and yours.

Sky Gate by Isamu Noguchi

👍👍 A must see for astronomy lovers. The astronomical structure only casts a circle during Lahaina Noon (time in the tropics when the sun it at its perfect zenith and no shadows are cast for vehicle objects).
These photos were taken on Lahaina Noon, May 27, 2023.

Waikiki Baptist Church
Baptist church
👍👍 We first visited there in 1997. The service included interpretive Hula for Christian themes. It was excellent. Marilyn Miller was worship leader at the time and presented beautiful Hawaiian specific themes, beat any "contemporary service" I have ever experienced.

👍👍 20220321. @Dress4Success @YWCA is a fabulous, empathetic program that helps low-income people like myself get suited for job interviews. They provide 2 outfits from top to bottom (bra, shoes, outfit, accessories, purse) and once one gets the job, they provide 5 more outfits! The staff and volunteers...

😠 Impossible to get a table on a weekday. We (2 people) asked to be seated at 11:30 AM on a Thursday but were told the cafe was booked with reservations until 1:15 PM. The staff suggested getting a snack at the coffee bar on the other side of the museum. I needed a full meal and a table to sit at to f...
