One of the most classic building in Stockholm. Spectacular Swedish Teatro architecture style. We did not have the chance to visit the Theatre itself due to the limited time we had in Stockholm. Few images of the Surrounding are included.

Great place for theatre and music. Smack in the centre of Stockholm this historical place is a must for those interested in culture. Book tickets well in advance, the amounts of seats is limited and they sell out quickly

The Royal Dramatic Theatre - (Swedish: Kungliga Dramatiska Teatern, colloquially Dramaten) is Sweden's national stage for "spoken drama", founded in 1788. Around one thousand shows are put on annually on the theatre's eight running stages. The theatre has been at its present location in the Art Nouveau building at Nybroplan, Stockholm, since 1908. The theatre was built by the architect Fredrik Lilljekvist.

'The Royal Dramatic Theatre is Sweden's national stage for "spoken drama", founded in 1788. Around one thousand shows are put on annually on the theatre's five running stages.' However, I found the location calm and lovely, the stages are also awesome.

I was here in kind of a special visit, because my friend wors here and she lead us through the theatre and we watched some rehearsals. I didnt have time to stay and watch the performance, but what I can say of what I have seen and heard, their repertoire is full of classics which are realy worth seeing. My friedn recommend me Oedipus, so if you have time, go and enjoy

Beautiful in front of it, there is the statue of the heating lady! It's true and it's warm, too, works fine for the cold days.
