This was one of the worst dining experience in my life. The food took a lot of time to come and they put meat in my vegetarian dish with out telling me or writing it on the menu. When I told them they gave me a different dish instead without asking me. On the end after about an hour they brought me the food I asked for in the beginning. The service was slow and the waitress was confused.

Everything was lousy and subpar! The atmosphere in Syntagma (noise, air polution, huge crowds)... the unprofessional and slow service, and the food which was laughable at best. Added this part here after the owners response below... look at what they wrote! The food is not their responsibility!!!! What??? You're a restaurant owner... it's your utmost responsibility!!!! If you cannot handle it, then close the place!!! Unbelievable!!!

If you are in the area visit this place. The very nice Greek young lady had customer service to a fine art.. So as we could relax and review menu in comfort she brought over chilled water without us asking for it. Food was good and enjoyable.

I was looking for a place to have something a bit healthier for breakfast and I came across this place. I decided for yogurt with strawberries and it’s so good. They slice the fresh strawberries thin and add honey. The yogurt is not sweet nor too tart, it’s just perfect for me.

Good coffe, every thing else was poor. the service was not good, the food was not so fresh to my opinion and they made a lot of mistakes without apologizing.

Upper is a small cafe bar hidden in front of your eyes at Syntagma Square. Search for its entrance inside an arcade at Othonos Street and have a coffee or a drink at an impressive hall. Every Saturday and Sunday they also have live music.

Great place for lunch, great service and very friendly. Tried the moussaka and stuffed vegetables along with a smoothie and it was simply amazing. The freshness of the ingredients can be felt in every bite, so good. If you are looking to try Greek food, this place won't disappoint! 100% recommended

Burnt food, took 45 minutes for a brioche burnt bun w9th a small pieve of pork in thr pork brioche sandwich, 3/4 of it no pork. 25 minutes for a beer, tables open, just deplorable. Stuffy, no air, and honestly, a must skip. Bland potatoes salad reminded me of when I would visit my grandmother in a nursing home.

Hidden treasure of Athens. Found it by chance, this bistro offered us a great last night in athens. It’s very cosy and pocket friendly. Amazing cocktails and finger foods. I Highly recommend it. Ps: if you have trouble finding it, ask the waiters at the ground floor coffee shop to show you to the bistro. All the staff we met were friendly. :)

Heaven is hidden here. The friendliest staff, great music, fantastic cocktails all in an out of this world atmosphere. Who would believe to find this gem here!!! They are in the movement serving really original no or low alcohol cocktails.

You won't believe what is hidden behind that door through the hallway. Amazing plates for brunch. The coffee smells delightful and tastes great. If you are a foreigner you should try the greek Freddo Espresso. The atmosphere and decoration is placed in between the perfect point of not too much not too little.

My wife and stumbled in here because of the pics of the upstairs. It was sad to learn it’s only open during their busy season (Winter) we sat at the juice bar and after we figured out we were at the restaurant we were dazzled by the hospitality and service. They quickly realized we were Americans and needed some help ordering from their massive picture menu. We tried two Sandos. Basically amazingness piled high on sweet Texas toast. They had some smoothies and random Greek snacks. It was our first dining experience in Greece and we sat at the bar for 2 hrs eating, drinking, and laughing with the owner and waitresses. Everything was prepared fresh and it allowed us to fall in love with Athens because of the hospitality and food.

One of the best food I ate in Athens. Everyone was very nice with us and the salad greek was delicious. The olive oil was amazing, and I still dreaming with the gnocchi the trufes. Thank you all for this incredible experience 😊😊

Outstanding decor, kind staff, average food.

Ok place. Good coffee but food is not so much. Not bad but definitely, but not amazing. Fluffy pancakes were flat and plain.

Yesterday night I found this place in Google maps where it said it was opened till 2:00 so at midnight I walked all the way with my family but guess what ? It was closed. Frustrating and misleading!!!

Only here for a few days and this is the only place my wife and I have eaten at more than once.

Nice brunch, extremely helpful and cheerful waitresses, clean and tidy.
