This was our 3rd time in this hotel. We like the pool and sauna area, as well as the breakfast. Good value for the price and easy to reach be car. We advise a trip to the dinosaur park in Lourinhã from here.

Very quiet place, good parking space and staff helpful. Rooms are simple and tidy, SPA only with indoor poll, sauna and a salt therapy room. There is an outdoor pool safety well. Breakfast is very nice and with great options. Only downsize was the flies in the room, and everywhere in the hotel which I had no idea where they came from, door and windows always closed, still they are seen. Bit of a nag, but no crime. Quiet and nice to rest.

Can't honestly rate this at 4 star hotel. The fourth must be hanging by a thread. This hotel is frequently plagued by flies (not a few, hundreds+) which not being their fault does hinder the experience and you should, as client, take into consideration. Rooms are OK. Staff seems short but nice. Quite a lot of mold and water damage visible. Breakfast is OK. All in all a bit unimpressive and in need of investment to truly claim those 4 stars.

Clean and quiet. Unfortunately hard beds, and pillows not cosy enough but apparently is a Portuguese characteristic in all hotels! Acceptable breakfast buffet. Good coffee.

Lovely hotel and staff, we got the sauna and spa for an entire hour to ourselves, the beds were comfortable and I loved how big the towels were , one night we ordered toast to hold us over until dinner, and the breakfast pasties were perfect!

the spa is a bit lacking, the turkish bath doesn't work and the massage room is closed because they don't have a masseuse... very good breakfast, exaggerated prices. friendly staff

Overall everything was good. It was a quiet location and I especially chose it. Parking is free. Large and clean rooms. There is a nice bar at the ground floor. People are very nice and kind. There is a very nice pool. The only two problems I had was :1. I stayed in the 402 standard double room and there was no lift for that section . I had to carry my 20 kg luggage to the second floor. 2. Internet was really bad in my room. I asked, they checked, it got only a bit better.

The maintenance of the property wasn't that good the swimming pool outside was with a gareen water with very poor maintenance, I didn't even went close to the inside doors pool ... to be a good clean AA doesn't mean to use all pure bleach off the world! in all areas and that much quantity like they use, because it stinks of bleach and creates a really bad impression and we can't breath should be a nice fragrance around the hotel on the common areas and also in the bedrooms was stinking bleach as well. Maybe because that product is cheaper than other ones doesn't live that smell and more professional.

Had a great one night stay here at Vila d’Obidos. Staff was great, got us in our room early, had a nice afternoon at the pool and they had left a beautiful fruit and brownie tray in our room at check in as it was my wife’s birthday. Property is a bit older but it was clean and staff were attentive. Great value for the money.

The staff is the best part of the hotel. They were always incredibly welcoming and tried to provide solutions whenever possible - which weren't many. But they were truly exceptional in their friendliness and customer service. I didn't have high expectations, but I had a minimum standard for a 4-star hotel. When I arrived, I encountered numerous problems that I didn't expect. Shortly after arriving, I was negatively surprised, as the bedding in the room had some visible stains on the pillows - when I asked for them to be changed, the lady apologized but said it was a common occurrence. The room was quite rundown, with the wood on the furniture somewhat damaged and creaking. There were 2 single beds pushed together instead of a double bed. In the bathroom, there were holes and damage in the wood of the door, seemingly from a past flood. Even the window curtain didn't completely block out the morning sun, and it had multiple holes that appeared to be from insects. Speaking of insects, when we entered the room, there were about 5/6 flies flying around and bothering us quite a bit - once again, we asked for help (some kind of plug-in device), but the only solution available was a chemical spray that left a lingering smell in the room, and the canister wasn't even working properly. On top of all this, I'm not an expert in construction, but compared to other hotels I've stayed at, you can hear everything inside the rooms - from having difficulty falling asleep at night because you can hear children running around in the room above, to being woken up early in the morning by people dragging their suitcases and talking in the hallway. Additionally, the pool is nice, but the plastic chairs are terrible, and many of them are broken - the worst I've seen in a 4-star hotel. On Sundays, for those who would like to have lunch before checking out of the hotel, it's not possible because the restaurant offers very few meals and is only open for dinners from Thursday to Saturday.
