It's a three star rated hotel but with 5 star service. It is located near the train station, and right next to the town center. There's no parking at the hotel proper, so the best option is to park at the Park & Ride at the Geilenkirchen train station which is a multistory building with 24x7 video monitoring. You get from the parking garage to the hotel by walking through the tunnel underneath the train station proper. The reception is just off of Alte Poststrasse during operating hours; after 8PM the reception is closed for the night and you can get in via the entrance on Theodor-Heuss-Ring. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There's no air conditioning, but there are fans. It can get warm in the room during the summer months. For an extra 10 EUR, you can get the breakfast buffet at the downstairs restaurant which was quite good. If you're in GK, I would highly recommend staying here given its proximity to the train station and the center of town.

Pros: Good location, close to the bus / train station, taxi stop, restaurants and supermarket. Service is very good, kind staff. Cons: Paid wifi, not many TV channels options (specially for non-German speakers)
