First of all very nice and big place for playing. Basically it's a playground but there's stage also available here so you can book/request the ground also for cultural activities or other. There's cricket pitch and football goal post is also available. Nearby 1.5km Long running circumference pathway is available here for running/jogging. Seating benches is also available for audience and also for senior citizens. Good place to wonder at evening and morning. Have yoga/jogging at morning and for relaxation from noisy environments. You'll find peace here and also senior citizens will enjoy it.

It’s a largest public ground of Vidhyanagar. It has waking pitch. So people usually go there for walks. It has volleyball pitches which is my favourite part. They also have basketball field and pitch for cricket, football. So you can find students playing sports inside the ground. It’s a large place so, so many political events and public events like Independence Day celebration, yoga day celebration etc takes place. Also some colleges’ sports days are been held here. It’s a really green place. So people also go there just to sit and enjoy tons for bird flying and bird chirping in the evenings and in the early mornings. They have a stage, parking facilities and multiple entry gates. Surrounding the ground, so many food strolls and colleges are there. So you’ll mostly find student crowds all over and around it. As well as senior citizens who came for walk and kids who came to play.

It's a public ground which is surrounded by SP University and other affiliate colleges. Lots of events happen here plus it's good hangout spot for college students , can have a long walk here, jogging, running and one can play sports of all sorts here like volleyball football cricket.

Shastri medan is very peaceful place.there is a cricket ground, volleyball,basketball ,football grounds.football academy in the shastri medan .many trees are there .it is for the children,younger and older people all are enjoying there time here .it is open for 24 hours. for the students it is best place for time pass .there is a walking street on the periphery of ground for morning walking and for exercise.there is a benches for sitting.
