I usually don't bother writing Google reviews, but we had such an amazing lunch here that I wish I could give it 6 stars. Fatfish offers vibrant decor, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and friendly and attentive service. But most importantly, the food is carefully prepared and utterly delicious. Highly recommend the gourmet sandwiches and signature cocktails. If you're in the area, don't miss the chance to eat here!

I liked this place. Nice atmosphere, well stocked bar and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the duck salad which was OK. The ingredients were great and it looked wonderful but I think I'm just not a big fan of sesame oil. I'll try the pizzas next time I think. They have some interesting craft beers on tap as well. I enjoyed the pale ale.

What a lovely restaurant… attention to detail, cold towel on arrival, complimentary pre dinner nibbles and cold beer and cider in cold glasses - love it!! Great menu but couldn’t go past the pizzas - yum oh!! Amazing combination and flavour… Need to come back and try more of the menu

Best restaurant in Da Nang! Dined here twice with my gf who is Coeliac whilst staying in Da Nang. Showed staff card in Vietnamese explaining that we couldn’t consume gluten and they took it with great consideration. This was our favourite meal whilst in Vietnam, the seared scallops and pan-seared duck breast are both highly recommended and were cooked perfectly. Would recommend for anyone looking for restaurant that can cater for gluten free.

A great experience! Really fresh and high quality food. Super friendly staff. Innovative cocktails. We couldn't be happier here. The fish dishes (ceviche, whole fried fish...) were exceptionally well filleted and seasoned!

Very very chill place to have some nice drinks. I went at about 9pm to have some drinks with my partner. Was greeted by the staff. Got a bar seat. The bartender was Binh, he made me an Old Fashioned. My favourite. The drink was good and the experience of him making the drink in front of us was even better. Then I had a Jasmine Pale Ale to end off the night before heading off to our stay. The food prices are a little on the high side, but that’s what you pay for quality.

Very nice and quiet place to dine! Love this mahi-mahi fillet! It’s so pretty and flavourful ❤️ The fish skin is so crispy and the fish is fresh and tender.

Nice seafood & good atmosphere Big seafood platter is highly recommended and very matched with tap beer. Jasmine beer is very good! Very smooth, no bitter and easy to pair with seafood and beef. Staffs are very helpful.

A memorable dining experience I would like to thank the Fatfish team for being incredibly hospitable to my friends and me during our dinner. I appreciate every single detail that was taken to ensure we felt special. Now onto the food. Starters 1) Fatfish Ceviche Deconstructed to an incredibly pretty plate to consist of acid, sweet & spicy and is something unique compared to a traditional ceviche. 2) Shortbread Duck Admittedly it wasn’t very impressive looking but the flavours that hit straight on my first bite made me know that I was wrong. Sweet yet savoury definitely a good starter. Mains 1) Spinach Ravioli Probably my least favourite dish amongst the rest due to high calibre of flavours the rest had as this felt under seasoned. Great idea but execution of the sauce may need some work. 2) Mahi Mahi Fillet Incredibly done, the perfectly seared skin and the fresh firm Mahi Mahi was superb. Resting on top of some grilled asparagus and what I can assume is a pumpkin purée spice the dish fit the billing as a popular dish. Asparagus however was a bit old. 3) Seafood Tagliatelle My standout dish for the night, with a squid ink tagliatelle cooked into that sweet and perfectly spiced sauce. It was fantastic, topped with a lot of fresh seafood. I love it. I’d give my time here an 8/10. With my only pointer is to build more dots between the guest and restaurant. Will be back when I’m back in Da Nang! Thanks team.

Made a reservation the same night- staff was incredibly kind and attentive to my allergies. We loved our mains and dessert so much, but were not a fan of our apps. Would still highly recommend if you are looking for a nice dinner in a quaint setting.

Would I come back: YES! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 The quality of this food was awesome in my opinion. I had a very lovely meal here and would come back in a heart beat. If you are looking for a non Asian meal this is the place to come! The only thing I was confused about was the service charge...I didn’t leave a tip because of it since I assumed that was the gratuity. Food: Fish carpaccio: An interesting mix of ingredients which was very refreshing. The combination of fruits with the fish complimented the fish. Duck breast: Very well seasoned and cooked well. The meat was fairly tender and moist. Chocolate tart: More of a dense mousse in my opinion. It has more a consistency of pot de creme. Very rich and tasty.

I came here with my friends who live in Danang and frequently dine at Fatfish, and I am glad they brought me here! We started with the fish ceviche and flatbread with braised duck luck, and they were both phenomenal, as was the mahi mahi I had as entree. Service and drinks were also top notch. I am not sure how the menu was before, but we spoke to the chef who had redone most of the menu. Props to him for a splendid dinner!

After 2 weeks in Vietnam and trying all kinds of food this place is definitely #1 so far. We had the beef carpaccio, blacked salmon and slow roasted ribs. Amazing food, good prices and a nice view for sunset next to the river. Great wait staff as well. Try this place, you won’t be disappointed!

I highly recommend this restaurant! Scallop, hummus, and tomahawk steak were all amazinnggg!!! I would come here all the time if I lived in Danang. One of the BEST restaurants in the city. You need to come here if you want have some good food and good time!

--EDIT: They called me on the following day and apologized for the inconvenience, and offered me the laundry. While it's late, as I have already washed the shirt, I still appriciate their effort. I raised my rating to 3 stars as an appreciation for their effort. ____________________________________ Extremely bad service. They spilled the wine everywhere on the dinning table and even on the customers shirt and trousers. Yet, they didn't bother to apologize or offer laundry to customers. On top of that, they didn't even bother to change the spoiled tablecloth too. Am I supposed to happily fine-dine under such bad hygiene? The food quality was also definitely not worth the monstrous price. Nothing special and the dishes tasted dull most of the time. But this could be due to my bad mood caused by their bad service. Anyway, I strongly recommend AGAINST this restaurant.

Lovely restaurant and food, found with the help of the good reviews. However, what made our visit especially memorable was the staff, since it was a special evening for me and my boyfriend. He was looking for the right moment to propose that evening and decided to do it after the meal at the restaurant. I said yes!!! The staff were super lovely and shared the moment with us. Big thanks for helping to make it so special, we will never forget it. 😊

Amazing food and amazing service. Great cocktails - can especially recommend the Fatfish cocktail if you're into lemongrass and a good wine selection. Waiters were polite and helpful!

I came here for breakfast for 3 days. Unfortunately had to have a coffee first elsewhere as it dont open 10am (then closes 2 - 5)! Best b'fast I found on beachside of river. Nice ppl only 4/5 bc of hours.

I can to the Fat Fish with a friend last Sunday night. Gin was our waitress and she was amazing!! So friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and they had a good wine selection. We came back later that night for another round!! Cute bathrooms and lovely decor. Thanks Fat Fish!!

Good restaurant and not too expensive. Servers speak rudimentary English. House cocktail is a must try. Flatbread was good.

Delicious sandwiches! The mahi mahi was grilled to perfection and served on fresh in-house made sourdough bread. The bread was soft and moist. The fries were piping hot & seasoned well. The salmon is also delicious & cooked well. Side note: the potatoes are served more as a garnish rather than a side. The Kurtz Insane IPA was bursting with flavors of passion fruit and citrus with a medium body & a little bitter. Very nice English speaking staff. The drinks were hand-crafted & delicious! They also use reusable straws!! The owner is very personable owner who really cares about quality & consistency of the food. I recommend this place to everyone coming to Da Nang& looking for something fancier than street food.

On the slightly pricier side, but all of the dishes were great. Especially found the King prawn curry to be amazing. The octopus carpaccio was nice, but personally it felt that there was more tomatos than octopus. Background music was a tad loud, but as the food in general was decent, and the staff was pleasant, giving 5 stars. Vegetarian curry is also great. Seems like the Signature dishes are all hits, and everything else is decent. Would like to visit again.

Very good restaurant, nice decoration and great music. Vietnamese dishes very good and elegant. Fresh juice. But complicated sometimes to ask for something because not all waiters speak english. Clean and chilling place.

So delicious cuisines, I had a 2 main dished, duck breast and salmon fillet. I was totally satisfied with them. All staffs are kind and sensitive. They gave me a real good smile, not plastic. And the food has a beautiful visual to give me a good appetitie. Price is moderate, I guess, 300k - 400k vnd will be enough for 1 person. The only bad thing is hard chair but it is a acceptable. I hope enjoy your meal here. P.S) The name of this restaurant is not 'Fattish', be carefull.
