I
am
forever
grateful
for
the
kindness
and
exceptional
customer
service
I
received
here
when
the
whole
world
went
into
lockdown
last
year.
This
was
the
final
place
that
I
would
be
staying
at
to
end
my
month
long
stay
in
Da
Nang
(or
so
I
thought).
The
day
I
was
supposed
to
fly
back
to
Thailand
I
found
out
they
weren't
letting
non-Thai
Nationals
back
in
due
to
the
pandemic.
I
was
stressed.
I
was
panicked.
I
was
stuck.
I
ended
up
being
in
Sofiana
My
Khe
Hotel
for
four
months
due
to
the
lockdown.
And
it
was
hard.
But
the
staff
took
great
care
of
me.
In
the
beginning,
I
had
a
lower
room
with
the
view
of
other
buildings.
But,
thankfully,
I
was
upgraded
to
a
higher
room
where
I
could
see
the
beach
and
other
areas
around
me.
It
was
nice
to
also
have
their
rooftop
area
when
I
needed
to
get
out
of
my
room
and
breathe
in
the
fresh
air.
-
My
room
had
a
big,
comfortable
bed.
-
You
get
beautiful
robes
in
your
room.
-
You
get
room
slippers.
-
The
shower
was
great
with
good
water
pressure.
-
They
provide
you
with
a
small
refrigerator,
a
tea
kettle,
two
small
water
bottles,
free
tea
and
instant
coffee.
-
The
TV
had
English-speaking
channels
to
keep
me
company.
-
And
housekeeping
kept
everything
very
clean.
Since
I
was
there
for
so
long,
there
were
annoyances
and
frustrations.
The
structure
isn't
soundproof,
so
you
could
hear
the
outside
construction,
or
even
the
people
above
you
scraping
their
furniture,
or
people
being
loud
in
the
hallway.
Also,
there
weren't
any
blackout
curtains.
I
didn't
really
sleep
very
well
here.
But
the
breakfast
buffet
was
good
when
it
was
open.
They
have
a
selection
that
rotates
daily.
You
can
get
your
eggs
made
as
you
like
them,
but
they
didn't
seem
to
understand
the
concept
of
a
runny,
over-easy
egg.
So
sometimes
I
just
went
with
an
omelet.
I
enjoyed
their
fresh
little
yogurts
and
fresh
fruit.
You
could
also
get
a
fresh
bowl
of
pho,
too.
Plus,
fresh
hot
coffee.
The
pool
was
fantastic
until
the
days
got
hotter.
Then,
it
felt
more
like
a
hot
tub.
But
the
beach
is
only
a
five
minute
walk
away.
Also,
there's
no
shade
on
the
deck,
so
it
can
get
pretty
hot
and
uncomfortable.
But
they
offer
cold
beverages
at
the
bar
to
cool
down
with
(I
went
with
the
fresh
vegetable
juices).
I
liked
that
they
had
big
beach
towels
if
you
needed
it
for
the
pool
or
the
beach.
They
also
have
laundry
service
if
you
need
it.
If
you
grow
tired
of
the
hotel
food,
there's
plenty
of
marts
and
restaurants
around,
or
just
order
delivery
from
Grab.
The
day
I
left,
they
were
so
sweet
and
surprised
me
with
some
gifts.
And
I
returned
the
favor
and
ordered
them
two
big
cakes
for
all
of
their
help,
generosity,
and
hospitality.
Thank
you
to
the
loving
staff
of
this
hotel
for
doing
their
best
during
such
a
crazy
time
in
the
world.
Your
care
for
me
was
greatly
appreciated.
