Difficult to write an honest review because we booked a villa here through booking.com. On arrival we were informed that this was a privately owned villa which was not clear from the reservation. The resort had no restaurant open but had not told us this. The villa looked impressive and well appointed at first. However the private pool had many damaged tiles and was not safe . The fridge was not working properly and a door handle came off when we closed the door. We did not have a car and so we were not able to get food. We contacted the company who eventually charged us for the first night and refunded the remaining 2 nights. We did not stay! It's not good enough to announce on arrival that facilities do not exist. They also wanted a cleaning fee. This was not mentioned! We are pursuing this with booking.com as well

Wouldn't call them villas but deteriorated large homes. There is nothing spectacular or impressive about them. Just no style or signature. Kitchen sink and faucet too far out reach that gave a backache where you wash for longer than ten seconds (why? really). The guards wouldn't let children swim outside the ring even with an adult, just because it's only a bit deeper. My 8 year old could stand with water under her chest where we were. It's the outside where the water was calmer and has more sea shells and creatures. Price too high for the experience. Rather go elsewhere with that money.

This is NOT a five stars resort! We are living here for more than 6 years and get very bad experience in this resort. Our friends also feel the same. THIS IS THE MOST NOISIEST resort I have ever been! Everyone outside can rent a house for 30 people and bring in karaoke and make loudest as they want from morning until evening. No complain would be helful because the manager would not do anything to control it. Additional all kind of team building events or what ever they bring up always together with loud and noise. This is not a place for everyone who need calm and quiet. It is not recommended!

Comfortable and well maintained resort. Beach and pools are very nice. The villas and hotel rooms are individually owned, maintained, and furnished by investors. Staff is polite and attentive, yet still working up to Western standards of customer service, cleanliness, and comfort. Overall a very positive Christmas experience.

It is so extremely beautiful resort, on the beach, a lot space of landscape, 5star standard service. Price of real estates purchasing or renting is also resonable, luxury but not too espensive. Contact to Hepro Company - sales agency here if you are going to visit The Ocean Villas

    - Luxury villas and suites for both B&B or long term rental - Located between Da NAng and Hoi An city, nearer to Danang city. - There’re 2 pools, a restaurant and private beach. - The whole place is well organized and clean. Wish there’s more trees to create shade and shadow

We rented an oceanfront villa with a beautiful view and space to accommodate our large group. No amount of luxury can cover up the smell of raw sewage wafting into your room from a defective plumbing system. We had to vacate some bedrooms to sleep in the common area while others suffered through it.

My suite was G2. It was around 350~400 per night. The Pleasantries: The Outdoors: The public pool was a sight to behold, and the proximity to the beach was most convenient. One could spend a rather enjoyable afternoon by the pool, sipping a fine beverage and overlooking the ocean. Privacy and Convenience: The villa provided a good level of privacy, and its location offered convenient access to both the Da Nang city centre and the charming town of Hoi An. Staff Deportment: Though understaffed, the personnel conducted themselves in a professional manner, and their handling of complaints was quite civilized, I must say. The Unpleasantries: Absence of Amenities: It was most disconcerting to find that the rooms were bereft of televisions and that the air conditioning system was inoperative. For the rate of 400 USD per night, one would reasonably expect these basic amenities to be in good order. Inefficient Procedures: The necessity of waiting for staff to check in and out was an irksome inconvenience that could have easily been avoided with proper staffing or organisation. Disrepair: The villa exhibited a rather rundown appearance, with appliances in various states of disrepair. The fan, the hair dryer – all seemed to have seen better days. Design Inconsistencies: The logic of the design was puzzling indeed. Providing but one cup, yet two sets of toothbrushes, left us quite perplexed. The safe was curiously placed atop the closet, and the water pressure was disappointingly weak. Furniture: I would be remiss not to mention the furniture, which appeared rather worn and past its prime. In Conclusion: Ocean Villa, despite its appealing location and outdoor amenities, fell short of the expectations one might associate with a venue at this price point. Whilst I extend my sincere appreciation to the staff for their professionalism, I cannot in good conscience endorse this accommodation without significant improvements. Though our stay was not entirely without merit, the aforementioned shortcomings led us to seek a refund for one of our nights. It is my earnest hope that Ocean Villa might address these issues, for the potential for a truly splendid getaway does indeed exist.

The villas are privately owned and managed by a group of crooks! They would advertise 1 villa with pictures from other the villas they managed, then they book everyone into the same villa and on the day, they would take you to another villa. We were shown a rundown villa, with a terrible smell. The house was dirty and a lot of black moulds were found, especially in the kitchen. We canceled and still haven’t received our money from Agoda! Read the negative reviews!! It’s common practise here in Danang regarding villas.

I stayed at ocean villas from 16th June till 20th June in E1 villa. The air conditioning of 2 rooms was not working. The bathrooms were flooded with water. There is only 1 restaurant in the entire complex and that too is open only on the weekends. Nobody understands English. I had a very bad experience. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Great resort like accommodation. Very clean apartments and staff is very courteous. It is away from hustle and bustle of the main city and a great choice for a relaxing vacation.

Stayed with friends and family in the villas. There is a hotel side too. However the villas are nice since two to three rooms are there in one villa. There is a nice lounge area besides the kitchen, large fridge, washing machine, ironing board and iron. Of course the pool per villa was a great savior when we were stuck in the villa because of incessant rain one day. The restaurant for breakfast is closer to the villas and next to the beach. The beach is secluded and clean. I found the place perfect for a peaceful getaway.

The service is ok. Minor for the day they put a towel with a hole in my bathroom. The room design is ok. In my room the wooden floor seemed to be wet and dry continuously so the wood is not in is right place. Create the sound every time walk in. The toilet smell. Technical problem. And its so dark in there. The living and dining area has the good view and good air-con. The pool is big and well-maintained. Love it. They also have a swing by the beach for you to enjoy. The beach here is quiet and so clean.

Place was very clean and well maintained, great service from the staff. Beach is clean and not so crowded. The only down part is that there aren’t many options nearby for food. Must drive or order in.

It was a very satisfactory accommodation. The air conditioner broke down a few times, but it was resolved . All the staff were friendly, especially Thien, who helped our family with great care. Thien, thank you for your kindness.

NOT RECOMMENDED! WATCH OUT IF YOUR HOSTS’ NAMES ARE #MIA AND #ANNA Rooms still got trash inside the closet. We didn’t get hot water in the villa on the first WHOLE DAY, they tried to fixed it but it’s not working, then they just tell us to go to another villa to take a bath and come back. DON’T COME HERE!

Shower in our room did not really work, the ladder in the pool was dilapidated and broke. The house itself is nice but if someone pays so much money, at least the shower should work.

Currently staying here for 2 nights. Had total blackouts both days so far. Can’t cook breakfast but the staff do not offer discounted breakfast to compensate this. That would be the least they could do since the conditions are not adequate for basic needs (no hot showers, can’t store food, can’t boil water for morning coffee etc). Do not stay here.

Do you want to travel to exotic Vietnam, only to stay in the middle of nowhere? Would you like to completely escape from everything and have utter silence at night? Would you enjoy being 30 minutes from any city, convenience store, or other human? If you said yes to these, Ocean Villas is your place. These Villas are HUGE, with a ton of unused space inside because they never put enough furniture in to fill up the rooms. They are inexpensive at the moment. But the taxi, or GRAB fees to constantly get in and out of town bring that price up. And if you get hungry for chips or a soda, good luck. There is a nice restaurant by the beach. But thats restaurant food, and it's expensive for what it is. No chips, no soda machine, and nothing to take back to your room. Maybe adding a winmart or 711 would help? Also it's weird that you can rent a villa and not get access to the Garage. I realize now that cleaning supplies are in the garage, but some of us have cars and motobikes. And they have to be parked outside all night. Otherwise, very nice. Just... too far.

While the Villa was spacious, the amenities inside looked old and worn out. The breakfast and other food options are very limited and the food is average. However the most difficult part of our stay was the poor communication skills of the staff. In a hospitality industry, having people at the reception not able to understand basis English was a challenge. I would not recommend staying here unless you just need a big space for a large family but nothing much part from that.

The Villas. are not maintained well so they should invest again in the basic necessities. Fix the Shower clean in the corer , repaint a bit. I think if they renew a bit it would be better . Thats why its so cheap

Rooms and equipment are old. Not worth the money. Beach is really nice. Location is far from city, in quiet area.

the best thing that happened to us in the entire vietnam trip. private beach area, amazing view of the sea, quiet property, quite hospitable. we were a group of 13 people and stayed in Villa F5, the breakfast part could be a shade better. rest everything was awesome

The resort had good amenities , was close to the beach , friendly staff and well maintained. The restaurants are good and accommodation choices are varied. Be careful of your selection on accommodation as the variables on owner maintenance can be spotty. Our villa had many deficiencies such as a poorly stocked kitchen, poor cleanliness , poor maintenance and security.

Great house and nice estate, can see sunrise in the morning and close to beach. Pool is nice and great. However, hot water was not functioning well in 3 rooms (4 rooms in total), house cleaning was so-so only and they seemed in a rush. They did not change bedsheets, pillowcases, not vacumming carpets and just used a cloth to wipe the toilet tub real fast and so called has cleaned it.

One of the best resort that I've stayed. The most wonderful advantage is the landscape and density. It only has villas and 2 low storey buildings. You will feel very relaxing and transquity when staying here. I highly recommend this place for family and couple trip.
