(Translated by Google) Visiting the Zoo in such beautiful winter weather is a pleasure for the whole day. A good place for a walk with the camera in the open air :-) (Original) Odwiedzić Zoo w tak piękną zimową pogodę to sama przyjemność na cały dzień. Extremely well maintained, has most of the wildlife covered from land ,water to air. Some of the species looked dwarf though ( hippo). A nice play area for kids to bounce/ jump. Elephant area is a spl attraction. Huge alligator and highlight was the lion, lioness and Tiger eho made us wait but was worth it. We went on a Tuesday but it was crowded. Lil expensive from an entry fee standpoint but day is well spent with whole family.

(Translated by Google) OPEN!!! 😃 Still under renovation but open! It is probably the only or at least a small attraction in Łódź. I guess that's the only way to go now. Holidays with restrictions - only at the Lodz Zoo! Weekend with restrictions - only at the Lodz Zoo! Many pavilions are still closed for renovation, but many are already open. You will be welcomed by the tame, beautiful, proud peacock right next to the illuminated Christmas tree. There are several of them there. Do not feed. I recommend a trip to the Zoo, although tickets are not the cheapest. Fortunately, a large family card is obligatory. (Original) OTWARTE!!! Polecam wycieczkę do Zoo, choć bilety nienajtańsze. Obowiązuje na szczęście karta dużej rodziny.

(Translated by Google) In December 2020, the zoo is mostly undergoing renovation. But a huge complex is under construction. There will probably be a very good zoo in the future. Now there are few people to look at. If you have nothing to do, then of course you can visit. But it's winter, renovation. The zoo has a good future (Original)

Nice well kept zoo, lots of different animals to visit, good information about each species. Currently construction work going on to upgrade the zoo means a fair bit of the place is out of commission, look forward to visiting 2020 when it's all done. Peacocks walk round the place free, good facilities, vending machines selling drinks, snacks etc. 20zł entry is excellent value, free car parking nearby also. Good location, near Łódź city centre but far enough away from the actual city centre itself. Well worth a visit 🐟🦉🦁🐘🐪🐯

Some areas are still under construction, the staff is cold, the ticket tellers do not speak English at all. Some of the animals look very downcast that are outside :( The rest of the interior is beautifully arranged. And in the week-end the parking is full at 10-11am :(

The Orientarium wasn't that bad. Such a shame that some of the runs were under reconstruction :// The zoo, although was less... Remarkable? Most animals were hidden and there were also runs under reconstruction. The staff was kinda cold towards some visitors. The place itself wasn't that bad, but I think there are more interesting zoos.

Great Zoo in Lodz! There are lots of animals and activities for kids, families, and adults alike. There is substantial walking involved but the zoo is wheelchair accessible. Great way to spend the day!

Lodz Zoo is famous because of its relatively newly built “Orientarium” building. We were curious to see elephants enjoying the swimming pool and also, how good is this ZOO. To be honest, the best experience is only the Orientarium. Anything else looks very old and not as good as it has to be. If you want to see elephants enjoying water very close to you, I recommend you to visit this ZOO or you want to enjoy sharks, mantas, etc close to you underwater :-) . Also recommending you to buy tickets on the internet or use the ticket machines on the left side of the main entrance.

Really nice Zoo with many many many animals to see. Good price as it was 70zł. Place so big that it took us over 3 hours to walk around and see all of the rooms, places inside. Nice descriptions of species. Nice atmosphere and we had a good weather which was a massive plus. Lot of trips with kids so if you don’t like it it’s better to go during weekend time. For me I like to visit zoo’s once each few years. Not a fun of animals in cages, though I know that that’s why there are as well not so many zoos around the world, just in the biggest cities. Really good place to go if you live nearby in radius 150km 😃

Great for kids and adults, there are many types of animals with great close up views of ie. lions, tigers and giraffes! There also seems to be a renovation of the zoo, and there will be a lot of new animals added to it like elephants, but also sharks in a large aquarium!

You cannot visit Lodz and not visit this zoo!! Best zoo I’ve ever been to hands down! Exhibits are large for the animals and provide a lot of viewing points. Plan to be there all day if you want to soak up all there is to offer. Animals seemed healthy and happy. Pictures and words do not quite do this place justice

Nice place to spend a weekend at. The animals have space for their needs, they seem to be satisfied with their life here and they don’t look scared or hungry. The ocean tube is the best thing, for sure. I loved it a lot. We were here on a rainy day, but there is a great opportunity to hide from it. The only thing I didn’t like is the glass instead of netting in the cages - it happens that you see more of yourself in reflection, though I understand that it’s more secure for people and animals when there is glass between them. Thank you for the positive emotions :)

Zoo and Orientarium are great. Though, pricewise its too expensive . Other Zoo's in Poland offer similar level of attractions, but considerably better priced (students, family and other discounts). When at weekends, please use the car park in Atlas Arena- it's PLN 20 for a whole day and there is a free shuttle bus every 15 mins. Check attractions timetable to avoid disappointment (for example elephant swimming/feeding is at 11am). You can buy some snacks and drinks here. That is important as it is around 5 hours for just 'walk around'. Obviously great for kids. You can see it is being continously developed- so it can only get greater and better.

Orientarium at the zoo is a new addition and attracts crowds. I recommend visiting on weekdays to avoid queuing. It's the only place to see a glass walled swimming pool for elephants - make sure to come during feeding times to see them swimming and then taking their sand bath. Quite expensive, but there are different discounts. Expensive and very limited parking, but there is a free bus service.

Nicely maintained. Good place to hang out with kids. I didn't see lion probably was hiding? If you want to use toilets, go whenever you see it. Because I had to roam around searching toilets. Staff will help if you simply ask them. Parking is near, about minutes walk. And yes! You'll have to pay 2 zł for the locker if you want to use it.

There is lots to do for children. Zoo can keep your family busy for all day. The checkout staff is nice and helpful. I like the fact that disable people can enter for free. However 70 zl for a child is a bit pricey considering that not all zoo attractions are finished yet. Also there is not enough parking spaces around Zoo.

Fantastic place, to have fun with your family! New Orientarium provides you with nice option to see ocean life, observing it in cinema style, or walk-in through tunnels. Only you should have 2,- zl for locker 🔐 with you, to leave outerwear if you came as me in cold weather time.

Zoo is beautiful and modern. Animals are happy and zoo keepers are taking a good care of them 🙏🏻 right now (during the end of winter) I didn't stand in long queue and during the walk through the zoo I didn't see many people, because of this sightseeing was enjoyable ☺️

Lines lines lines. Entry Price for an adult is 70PLN, kids up to 3 years old get in for free. They have nice Family packs for groups of 4. Unfortunately this place is as bad as it can be. Lots of people. Terrible stench and reek indoors and another lines and lines. Get equipped with lots of patience cause you will need it. Oh no parkings wither, so you need to park 15 mins walk minimum which is ridiculous. Don’t recommend and won’t be coming ever again.

Cool place to visit with Family. It's not that big so you won't spend the whole day in here running from one place to another, rather chill walking around, a few hours to see all it's enough.

A must-see place when you visit Łódź. Only 3-4 similar places in Poland. The zoo is divided into two zones: the older one is recommended to see when it is warm outside and a new one - big modern building with exotic animals. You can leave your luggage and jacket in a locker (coins required) or use a cloak room. There's a separate zone with snacks and bars; also, a shop with souvenirs. Unfortunately the price for the ticket is too high. If you want to use a parking place, you also have to pay.

I was there on the second day of Christmas. So it wasn't crowded at all, but all regular attractions were accessible. 5 hours is enough to visit all attractions and read interesting facts about animals. The informations are well prepared, easy to understand and there are options to get even more knowledge if someone wants to. One of the best zoo's I have ever been to. The price for regular tickets is 70pln and the price is totally worth it. I especially recommend getting there by car (many parking spaces) and bring friends or family.

I experienced Łódź zoo as part of a group attending an academic conference in the city. The zoo keepers/staff are very friendly, have crystal clear English, encouraged questions and it was clear they love all the animals. The conference dinner in the aquarium was a real treat and I would recommend visiting if you’re in Łódź!

It's really the best Zoo in Poland currentlly, "Orientarium" complex is designed in modern and smart way, very large, can take up to 2-3 hours. Some of older buildings require renovation but the Zoo is still investing. Food court is also very modern and gives lot of variaties of flavours.

Amazing place! Definitely an upgrade to what was there a few years ago. A lot of more animals and the new Orientarium definitely livened up the place. A bit on the expensive side, but with the attractions there, I was happy to pay!

(Translated by Google) Currently, it is not an interesting and somewhat deserted place. The pandemic has emptied the alleys, and a huge investment has excluded much of the territory from use. Despite all the limitations, it is worth visiting this place, because when everything is closed, it is still open and you can admire the inhabitants. In addition, the shapes of the Orientarium under construction are already visible, which is an invitation to the future. It is also important that by visiting the zoo we help financially in its maintenance. Pandemia opróżniła alejki, a olbrzymia inwestycja wyłączyła z uźytku znaczną część terytorium.

(Translated by Google) I like our Łódź, but the price of entry when 1/3 is available for sightseeing is slightly exaggerated. I understand the investment, even though I liked it before. I paid 45 zlotys for myself and my almost four-year-old daughter, which is a slight exaggeration during the week. I would like to point out that it is about 1/3 of the space available to visitors, with pneumatic hammers and excavators. I am afraid to think what the price of entering the zoo will be after the work is finished 🤔 (Original) Lubię nasze łódzkie , ale cena wejścia w chwili gdy do zwiedzania jest dostępna 1/3 jest lekko przesadzona.

The parking situation is the only thing that sucks about this zoo. There were a handful of animals that weren't out, I assume due to weather at the end of March, but it's a nice zoo

Wonderful zoo. A wonderful place to spend time with children or friends. Interesting for both children and adults. Thank you ❤️

Aquarium is good but land animals have not good quality of living. Some Animals seemed depressed.

Beautiful zoo with a wide variety of animals. Seeing elephants swim, dive and play has definitely been a highlight. Perfect place for a family day out whatever the weather.

There is one thing that now one told us, that all small houses with different animals and insects(wiwarium, akwarium..) are opened until 15:30! Please, keep in mind😎 We came in winter, and the price of the ticket was the same as in summer, I think it’s not fare, as half of the animals were hidden. All the rest, was really nice, especially the Orientarium.

I think this ZOO should be a must visit for everyone. We spent three whole day and that wasn’t enough! Lots of animals, info boards with facts, possibility to view feeding (elephants baths are also 2x per day). Many places to eat and relax… and of course a crème de la crème- ORIENTARIUM. Amazing exhibition of oriental animals, huge crocodile and of course sharks. Aquarium is amazing and can be an important stop for someone who needs a dark place with top notch view. PARKING situation is complicated. We came on Sunday and police was redirecting to the nearby ARENA STADIUM parking (20 pln per whole stay). ZOO is easily reachable from that parking (10 min walk through park). TICKETS can be bought online, at typical cash registers AND via machines! Lots of attractions for children- worth taking a wooden trolley (renting offers)

Amazing place, very pretty, we made 16.000 steps this day and we've been here for 4 hours. I recommend going there.

This small bird was hiding in bushes while small child was trying to catch her. The relation to birds is awful: nobody watching and protecting birds against children. Also we noticed rats who was stealing ducks food. It would be better to open contact zoo where parents and their children will be able to feed, touch and play with animals. The symbol of the Zoo is Aleksandr. Elephants feel good there but I noticed that another animals are discriminated: small cages with monkeys, mold on the walls, not enough water. Wish you well and believe that the zoo will improved!

Finally I can say that I have been to the best ZOO in Poland. The animals looked great even if they were in cages, but I was missing the tigers. The kids had lots of places to play, and the weather was great, so we got ice cream. The underwater viewing tunnel provides a great place for photos, videos, and even social media fans. The only downside was that we had to park at the pool (11 min walk) which is a nice walk on a good day but I would not like it during the winter.

Looks not so huge, but has all popular anymals, also elephants. Not very wide lines of types. Nice aqarium. In the middle is entertaiment park for kids with ice creams and cofees for parents. The best option to buy tickets in self-terminal on the left to Kasa, then no need to wait.

3 hours at least, but I would recommend 5-6, if you have children. In a ZOO souvenir shop ou can get a free map to collect stamps in various spots around the ZOO. Kids love it.

One of the best-organized zoos I've visited so far. The terrain for elephants is vast, and they seem to enjoy being here - they play together almost all the time. I wish the orangutans were more hidden; they are too exposed.

Very different from a typical zoo. It hosts an array of rare species like the Malaysian Sun bear. Its not super big and can be easily covered in 3-4 hours which is perfect for the kids. The best thing is that all the feeding times are mentioned with each animal enclave and its an extraordinary experience. The elephants enclave has pool and seeing an elephant swim is very surreal. Highly recommended. Please keep in mind that visiting on a weekday will yield a much better experience.

The whole family loved it, especially the elephants, giraffes and kangaroos. The peacocks walk freely on the sidewalk.
