It’s easy to miss the place when visiting Łódź as it is a little hidden, but very beautiful. Especially when the sun is reflecting in the building. The story behind it is very touching, I recommend looking it up on google

It's a gorgeous place. Interesting to see that the walls are covered by thousands of pieces of mirror. Few minutes are enough to visit but it would be a shame to miss.

The author of the project is the artist Joanna Rajkowska. Pasaż Róża, unlike the previous works of the author, is much more personal and related to the illness of the artist's daughter Roza. The implementation of the project - gluing the cut pieces of mirror to the walls of the building was a very labor-intensive process, but the result is wonderful. The light-reflecting mosaic brings the dark courtyard to life, and the mirror fragments create seemingly disjointed and distorted images, symbolizing the artist's daughter's diseased retina. This is the basic task of the Pasaż Róża project - to force passers-by to make an effort to reassemble the fragments of reality into a unified picture, and it has a symbolic meaning. The artist's daughter had to have her retina reconstructed after undergoing chemotherapy, after the disease she can see only partially, it is possible that the girl's way of perceiving reality also consists of merging fragments of one image into a single image.

At a quick glance in Google maps I thought it wasn't much, but it's actually worth a visit. Small mirror chips covering all the buildings walls like in a mosque. Beautiful and lots of work. Another good example of the art in Lodz.

Amazing place. I can't imagine, how big job must been done to get this effect. Worth to see it. Thank you, son, you've showed me this.

The story of the artist's blind children is hidden behind the beauty of this pasaż. It's a worth visiting it but many people don't know about the place.

Little passage between Piotrkowska 3 and Al. Kościuszki, with all buildings decorated in mirror mosaic, forming rosette shapes on the walls. Try to visit on a sunny day to admire reflection in these tiny mirrors. This art project by Joanna Rajkowska has a moving family story behind the idea - read more on the photo.

A beautiful place, especially in the afternoon, when the rays of the sun fall on the façade of the buildings and reflect with shimmering reflections from thousands of embedded pieces of mirrors. Fairy-tale, charming and romantic. A very captivating effect.
