They force you to write a review for them on the spot. Food average, restaurant not clean. I felt it was scam. That explains the high number of reviews and stars. They ask you to do it in front of them. What a shame. Having said that, the young waiter was helpful and nice.

Hassle free to reserve and some of the staff speak English. They have an English menu to order and also the Motsunabe has a set option. We didn't order the set as it felt too much but we ordered the single dish and add ons

I very much like the Motsu Nabe soup here. Very delicious and not too salty as other nabe places. However, the place is not very hygienic. I could see some "unidentified particles & dust" drowned in my sake when i poured it down. Looked like some eft over of chilli powder or peppers that didnt get cleansed properly. I still give this place 3 stars in spite of my unhappy experience with the contaminated sake. Just order beer...

Chanced upon this shop without knowing what to expect except that it's a hotpot style dinner. It's beef offal hotpot but fret not, there is no strange taste. Very yummy in fact! Recommend to try!

Friendly staff and the taste is good and reasonable price . The menu system is available for one person as well. Try the popular set that’s written in menu and you can experience the whole motsunabe with finishing off with noodles as the Japanese way of eating the hot pot dish. Ands it’s super spacious because it’s have 4 floors and no much waiting time . The another true experience is eating it while sitting on the tatami floor. Overall the good taste and nice memories to take out from Fukuoka !!

I love this place! My first time eating matsunabe! The staff were very friendly and even gave me a physical photograph of us at the end!! The food was excellent. Love the noodles at the end (if you order it). ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Motsunabe is something what you must eat in Fukuoka. The soup is delicious, eating together with the vegetables and noodles is really enjoyable. The services is good. They are polite and friendly. Have English menu and they do speak English. I personally recommend to add its seasonings when eating the Motsubabe. (I have add two beers, which costed 1000+. Otherwise, it would be costing you 1000-3000 yen only)

Amazing food! It’s good traditional Fukuoka style food! Definitely a must-try for travelers wanting to enjoy some special food only in Kyushu. You can't get this anywhere else in Japan! ENJOY FUKUOKA CUISINE!

First time trying the Motsunabe with someone who isn’t entirely keen on offals but it is very nice and surprisingly easy to eat. The offals aren’t too fatty at all and there is no weird smell for someone who isn’t big on offals. Great meal, fast service and the English menu and instruction is a huge plus for confused foreigners.

Great place to try a local dish. Big portions, fun experience. Shoya was our server and went out of his way to help us order and figure out what to do

It's very delicious. It's a must-see place if you think of gopchang. It's the number one restaurant in Hakata Station.

Don’t come here. Two of us queued for 40 minutes in the rain and paid ¥6690 for literally a pot of vegetable and noodles. There were at best 30 pieces of thumb-sized offals and most of them are extremely hard to chew even after being simmered in a soup for a while. They put all the meat at two ends of the pot so when it comes it looks like it’s full of meat but in reality the pot is filled by cabbage and chives. This shop is able to survive presumably because tourists come here, being ripped off and in come new unknowing tourists. The whole of the second floor we were sitting on had about 1/4 Japanese people compared to tourists.

How unfortunate that I am the only one with bad experience here. We ordered motsu nabe together with the noodle, but the noodle didn’t come until the broth was completely at the bottom of the pot. We didn’t get the hand towels, sauce, or the personal bowls. Horribly slow service. Motsu was very tough and smelly. The broth was extremely salty. I do not recommend this place at all. So so sad.

Very flavourful and unique taste of beef organs soup. Must try the noodles at the end!

Amazing food! It’s a great experience to try. The soup is delicious but the motsu is quite chewy

Motsunabe is a Fukuoka style hotpot. Made frome beef or pork tribe, intestine and liver with lot lot lot of chives and cabbage. This restuarant have many branches. This restuarant is suitable for hanging out with a small group of friends. There are seating both inside and outside. Price is per person. Food taste really good , noodle is all you can eat.

First time trying Hakata motsu-nabe. Delicious, this place only offers one type of broth (soy) but it had layers and layers of umami, each bite of the beef intestine was another explosion of flavor, the champon at the end really soaked in all that flavor and apparently they were the original to add noodles at the end. There's tons of cabbage and chives just piled on top so it gives a healthier vibe (obviously still not healthy but the vegetables help). You can order extra meat/veg/tofu and broth can be topped up at no extra cost.

They have an English menu available so it was very easy to order! The food came out quickly and there was a lot for the price. Definitely worth coming if you want to try motsunabe!
